Beast Taming Clan: I Have a Jade Book

In the blink of an eye, March had passed, and on a desolate mountain within the Grotto Heaven.

Ye Jingcheng opened his eyes.

His gaze filled with exhaustion.

For the past three months, he had been researching the Tier Four Golden Scale Pill.

After all, now that all the pill formula materials were gathered, the Golden Scale Beast had already broken through to the early stage of Tier Four. With an Advancement Pill, the possibility of successfully advancing, even breaking through to the mid-stage of Tier Four, was quite high.

His combat power would naturally increase a bit more.

Although he currently had several Demon Kings, and even the Earth Dragon Demon Emperor, in fact, those truly by his side were still his own Spirit Beasts.

The Earth Dragon Demon Emperor had to guard the Desert Sea Transmission Array.

The Three-eyed Demon King, Thunder Roc Demon King, and Mammoth Demon King also had to guard their territories.

Only his own Spirit Beasts were free to follow him.

But even after three months of research, Ye Jingcheng still did not have much confidence.

The difficulty of the Tier Four Advancement Pill was far greater than he had imagined, probably comparable to refining a Tier Four High-Grade Spirit Pill. The most crucial issue was that Ye Jingcheng only had enough Spirit Medicine to try twice.

If he failed twice, it would not be easy to gather the essence blood or the main ingredients again.

Naturally, Ye Jingcheng did not dare to try lightly at this moment.

He estimated that he had to break through his Alchemy Skill once more to have the confidence to refine the Golden Scale Pill.

As Ye Jingcheng got up, the Golden Scale Beast in the distance immediately trotted over.

It moved around Ye Jingcheng.

Ever since it learned Ye Jingcheng was researching the Tier Four Golden Scale Pill, the Golden Scale Beast had been exceptionally eager.

It trained intensely every day, and once it finished, it would constantly monitor Ye Jingcheng. As soon as Ye Jingcheng left seclusion or rose, it would run to ingratiate itself.

It even treated the Red Flame Fox much better now.

Only when the fox glared at it would it bare its teeth and let out a few roars.

“Not so fast!” Ye Jingcheng said irritably.

“Master~ hard work, roar!” The Golden Scale Beast wanted to imitate Peach Wood’s flattery, but ultimately found itself unable to utter many appropriate words.

It ended up saying “hard work” and then habitually roared.

“Continue your training. If you fail even after taking the Advancement Pill, you won’t have another chance!” Ye Jingcheng advised sternly.

Hearing this, the Golden Scale Beast, even though it had just come down from the Celestial Spirit Body Refining Array, climbed back onto the array.

Its dedication reached another level.

After sending off the Golden Scale Beast, Ye Jingcheng turned his gaze to the Wood Demon in the distance.

The Wood Demon was currently instructing the Golden Quenching Fruit Wood Demon.

The latter had transformed into a skinny monkey, looking quite bewildered as it was scolded.

“Golden Quenching, you’re just a lower-grade Tier Three little demon. Do you understand the Three Obediences and the Four Virtues?”

“If you don’t bear Spirit Fruit properly, you’re just a useless Wood Demon!”

“Useless Wood Demons are used to feed the Big Foolish Flood Dragon!”

…

Seeing this, Ye Jingcheng felt the words were somewhat off, but he did not stop the Wood Demon, instead glancing at the White-Browed Cyan Wolf and Roc Fish.

These two beasts had previously been taken by the Ye Family to support Ye Jingyu.

Now that Ye Jingyu had returned, he naturally brought them back.

Both beasts were now in the late stage of Tier Three, and not far from the peak of Tier Three either.

Due to their excellent performance, Ye Jingcheng had given them generous rewards, and they received more opportunities with the Treasure Light than other demon beasts.

This made the Jade Qilin Flood Dragon quite dissatisfied.

But it could only remain discontented.

“Both of you have been delayed for so long; you need to work harder, like the Golden Scale!” Ye Jingcheng admonished them.

Both beasts nodded repeatedly.

The present Grotto Heaven was not as narrow as it was before; it was now extremely spacious, much larger than many counties.

Even if the White-Browed Cyan Wolf wanted to fly from one end to the other, it would take some time.

After checking on the two beasts, Ye Jingcheng left the Grotto Heaven.

He landed in front of the courtyard.

By his door, there were now lots of Spirit Talismans.

These Spirit Talismans were sent to him by Ye Jingyu and Ye Jingyun.

Clearly, the family auction was about to begin.

Ye Jingcheng flew to the Assembly Hall, where only Ye Xingqun was guarding. Ye Jinghu and Ye Jingyu had already gone to the Taihang Market in advance.

“Jingcheng!” As Ye Jingcheng entered, Ye Jingli also came in.

His face was full of excitement.

“The Spirit Storage Seal and Three Forging Technique from the Zhang Family are incredibly useful. I’ve found my Artifact Refining skill has greatly improved!” Ye Jingli exclaimed excitedly.

For the past three months, he’d been researching Artifact Refining.

And Ye Jingli indeed had a distinctive talent for Artifact Refining, having tried using it during these three months.

“Brother Liu, any insights on modifications?” Ye Jingcheng asked.

“No need for many changes, just make it distinct from the Zhang Family!” In the future, the Ye Family would definitely use the Zhang Family’s inheritance to earn Spirit Stones.

This Artifact Refining technique was so useful that the refined Magical Artifacts would certainly be extraordinary.

The Ye Family naturally couldn’t let it gather dust in the clan.

Converting it into an exclusive Artifact Refining method for the Ye Family was naturally crucial.

“My initial idea is to transform it into a Four Forging Technique, with the Spirit Storage Seal and a unique Ye Family mark!” Ye Jingli proposed.

Seeing Ye Jingcheng still had doubts, Ye Jingli explained further:

“Jingcheng, converting the Three Forging Technique to a Four Forging Technique is simple. Just use the Chu Family’s Water Forging Technique. That way, even if someone connects it, it’s useless since cultivation techniques in the Cultivation Realm are universally used!”

“And for a unique mark, we can use the Spirit Storage Seal to change the previous Yong’an mark to the two characters for Lingyun from the Ye Family!” Ye Jingli continued.

Upon hearing this, Ye Jingcheng was overjoyed.

“Brother Liu, as expected of you. Once the auction ends, I’ll apply to the family’s Artifact Hall to reward you with Contribution Points!” Ye Jingcheng praised.

Even Ye Xingqun nearby couldn’t help but commend Ye Jingli’s idea.

This way, the reputation of the Yan Kingdom’s Magical Artifacts would gradually shift from the Zhang Family to the Ye Family.

Simultaneously, the Ye Family could gradually shed the label of a Spirit Beast Clan.

The future association with the Beast Desolate Wasteland would become smaller, which was the greatest benefit.

Of course, the Ye Family could also improve their Alchemy Method simultaneously.

However, pill formulas were circulated in the Cultivation Realm, so even with the Spirit Awakening Method, the Ye Family couldn’t surpass other families by much.

They could only make alterations in some rare pill formulas and Spirit Medicines to distinguish themselves from other clans.

But for now, it was definitely sufficient!

Seeing this, Ye Jingcheng nodded.

“Brother Liu, it’s getting late. We should also head to the Taihang Market!”

“I want to see who exactly is plotting against our Ye Family this time!” Ye Jingcheng remarked.

Now, with his strength, he feared not even facing some in the Middle Stage of the Golden Core.

If anyone dared to threaten them, Ye Jingcheng wouldn’t mind dealing with them, even profiting from it!

“Yes, Jingcheng, this time I’ve refined some Four-Colored Bone Fire Beads, incorporating the Spirit Storage Seal and the Ye Family name. They’re perfect for auction, to enhance our Ye Family’s reputation!” While Ye Jingli, too, wished to eliminate the external foes for the Ye Family, he wisely knew his limits and avoided unnecessary hassle.

He did indeed look forward to the family making a name for itself at this auction.

And also, intimidating those with ill intentions!

The two soon boarded the Spiritual Ship, and along with other Ye Family members, headed to the Taihang Market together!
