Beast Taming Clan: I Have a Jade Book

Chapter 346: Chapter 328: Jin Family’s Ambition, Preparations for Subjugation (Double-Length)

Now, this situation is quite favorable for the Ye Family. At least, they have territory, and the family’s focus is no longer in the Yan Kingdom. Even the Hidden Peaks of the Ye Family have been relocated several times recently.

The two quickly reached the area in front of the valley.

The valley appeared exceptionally silent, as if there were no living creatures within a hundred miles radius; all major families had already left one by one.

Even the spirit veins seemed to have been cut off, with spiritual energy no longer converging there.

Ye Jingcheng and Ye Xingliu stepped off the spiritual ship and began to activate the Supreme Turtle Concealing Qi Technique, transforming their cultivation completely into nothingness.

The two slowly walked to the entrance of the valley they had visited before.

From this valley entrance, they could observe any movements within the entire valley. They didn’t know where the Corpse Daoist was hiding, so they could only choose this spot.

After choosing the location, Ye Xingliu began setting up an array.

Since the Corpse Daoist had faked his death so thoroughly, he was most likely hiding in some space and wouldn’t sense the outside world.

Of course, if he could sense it, they would set up the Great Sun Double Dragon Array properly; otherwise, they really wouldn’t feel confident facing the Corpse Daoist.

After all, the other party had been able to leave the disciples of the Taiyi Sect somewhat helpless, gathering all cultivators.

While Ye Xingliu was setting up the array, Ye Jingcheng took the opportunity to infuse the spirit beasts with the treasure light he had recently recovered.

All the treasure light was poured onto the Red Golden Roc this time, to ensure the Red Golden Roc’s strength.

This was their only Tier Two Peak demon bird, the main offensive means against the Corpse Daoist.

As for talisman treasures and magical artifacts, they knew full well that if it came to that, they wouldn’t have the chance to use them.

Just like Yun Jianzi, didn’t he have strong enough means? He definitely had many back-up plans, but the Purple Sun Demon Corpse was too fast, leaving him unable to deploy his methods.

As for the Jade Qilin Flood Dragon, it was still suffering from serious injuries at the moment. Ye Jingcheng could do nothing as it was only a Mid-stage Second Tier spirit beast; despite its remarkable talent, the gap in realm was unavoidable.

The array was set up within half an hour, its scope covering most of the valley.

Of course, at this moment, the two exchanged a glance, still somewhat concerned. If their speculations were wrong, they would waste five to six days searching for spirit medicine.

“Jingcheng, did you also contract that Golden Falcon? This is the method for a forced blood contract!” After hesitating, Ye Xingliu felt it wasn’t safe enough and handed a jade talisman to Ye Jingcheng.

“Third Uncle, I don’t have a Golden Spirit Root or a Gold Attribute Cultivation Technique, it’s not suitable!” Ye Jingcheng shook his head.

Generally, nurturing a young demon beast from its infancy allows it to turn to its master and inherit. But for demon beasts forced to contract, they are difficult to inherit, to the point where even the master might find it hard to control.

Ye Jingcheng himself wasn’t worried because his Treasure Book could transform the blood contract into a soul contract.

Controlling the Golden Falcon was no issue, even if there was a gap in cultivation.

But in his view, without communication with the beast, the benefits aren’t significant.

“Be cautious, and in the Ye Family, there aren’t many suitable for the Golden Falcon, only your talent is decent enough. As a Beast Master, not every spirit beast needs to enhance your cultivation!” Ye Xingliu shook his head, still insisting somewhat.

The talent and strength of the Golden Falcon were extraordinary, requiring at least a Purple Mansion Cultivator to qualify, and the Ye Family now had only a few openly.

Ye Xingliu wasn’t sure if there were any suitable ones.

After hearing Ye Xingliu’s words, Ye Jingcheng finally nodded.

He decided that it was better to subdue the Golden Falcon.

If the Corpse Daoist was really concealed here, even Tier Two Late Stage corpse refinements would likely be present.

Even with the Great Sun Double Dragon Array, it was uncertain whether they could subdue them.

So he acted immediately, extracting the Stone Spirit and entering the Stone Spirit Grotto Heaven.

The disturbance of subduing it in the outside world was too great, so it was more suitable within the Grotto Heaven.

Once inside, Ye Jingcheng retrieved the Profound Cyan Tower Talisman Treasure.

At this moment, within the talisman treasure, a Golden Falcon could still be seen struggling inside, with a hint of death in its eyes.

Moreover, having gone days without food and no spiritual energy supplement, the Golden Falcon’s feathers had become somewhat dim, no longer shining with golden light.

Ye Jingcheng hadn’t thought about these things, since he’d been facing crisis after crisis in the Secret Realm, encountering both the Kong Family and the Xu Family.

If not for the Corpse Daoist matter, he might not even have thought of the Golden Falcon after leaving the secret realm.

He took out the jade talisman Ye Xingliu had given him and began to study it carefully.

The blood contract in the jade talisman was more complex than the common ones in the Ye Family, involving a type of illusion-generating spirit medicine.

The Ye Family had this spirit medicine, but this blood contract also required the cultivator to constantly suppress with divine sense.

Moreover, it’s easy for spirit beasts to break through and escape during cultivation, a significant limitation.

The reason Ye Xingliu gave it to him was also because the Peach Wood Demon hadn’t caused any problems.

In his view, Ye Jingcheng still had some secrets on him.

Ye Jingcheng familiarized himself with the blood contract three times, then selected a spirit medicine to grind into a specialized spirit liquid.

This spirit liquid doesn’t even qualify as a pill formula, naturally making it extremely easy for Ye Jingcheng.

Soon, he formed a basin of crimson spirit liquid, appearing particularly viscous and somewhat eerie.

Only then did Ye Jingcheng begin activating the talisman treasure.

As the talisman treasure was activated, a massive cyan tower appeared in the sky.

Within the tower, innumerable cyan light strands could vaguely be seen tightly binding the Golden Falcon, which continued to struggle in vain.

In its peak strength, it couldn’t break the Profound Cyan Tower; naturally, it couldn’t now either.

However, the Profound Cyan Tower’s power was largely consumed by the Golden Falcon. The originally complete talisman treasure now seemed to have only half its power left, which Ye Jingcheng couldn’t help but find regrettable.

When the Golden Falcon saw Ye Jingcheng, it was like seeing an enemy. Immediately, golden light began to flow around it, condensing a small golden sword at its beak.

In an instant, it shattered several cyan light strands, but soon more cyan spiritual rainbows tightly entangled the Golden Falcon.

It became increasingly tight, causing the Golden Falcon to cry out in panic, its wings flapping but only tightening more.

Even the golden sword at its beak dispersed.

At the same time, Ye Jingcheng began refining the blood contract, expelling a drop of essence blood which first fell into the basin of spirit liquid. As the liquid changed color, it formed into a complex blood contract spirit seal.

After being affected by the spirit liquid, the seal was no longer just blood-red but contained multicolored light, as if some phenomenon accompanied it.

Soon the seal headed towards the beast tower, where the Golden Falcon continued to struggle.

Its sharp beak kept squawking.

The blood seal seemed about to dissipate and collapse, as though the illusion had no effect on the Golden Falcon.

However, just when the Golden Falcon thought Ye Jingcheng might fail, the Treasure Book within Ye Jingcheng’s body began to move.

Accompanied by unseen treasure light, the blood seal instantly penetrated into the Golden Falcon’s body.

The Treasure Book opened to another page, instantly creating a profound soul contract sensation.

Ye Jingcheng could feel the Golden Falcon’s intense anger at the moment, but as his thoughts shifted, without the Profound Cyan Tower’s restraint, the Golden Falcon twisted in pain.

The difference between a soul contract and a blood contract was that a blood contract controls the beast’s flesh, whereas a soul contract senses the beast’s divine soul thoughts and can freely tear apart the beast’s soul.

Ye Jingcheng put away the Profound Cyan Tower, allowing the Golden Falcon to settle within the Grotto Heaven.

He was also incessantly torturing the brilliant Golden Falcon.

He wasn’t in a hurry now, as long as the Golden Falcon harbored even a trace of malice.

He wouldn’t stop. Just like young beasts need tempering, the Golden Falcon needed it even more.

Besides, he had plenty of time now.

Apart from tempering within the Secret Realm, he needed to continue tempering after leaving it.

This method was recorded within the Ye Family, and Ye Jingcheng was extremely proficient in it with so many spirit beasts.

After several hours of tempering, Ye Jingcheng took out some spirit medicine to let the Golden Falcon recover, even further granting it treasure light.

After all, it still needed to face the Corpse Daoist, and the Golden Falcon couldn’t afford to lack power at the crucial moment.

With the soul contract established, anytime the Golden Falcon harbored malice, he could instantly paralyze it.

And time quickly slipped away.
