My father sold me to the Mafia King

Chapter 235

Julie’s POV

My eyes widened, and I felt my body stiffen in shock. Had I heard him correctly? I looked at his wound, still covered in white bandages, then at his face, which only seconds ago had been contorted in pain.

”Robert... are you even conscious of what you’re saying?” I whispered, flustered. ”You could barely stand on your feet!”

He didn’t answer with words. Instead, he tightened his grip on my waist and pulled me closer until we were face-to-face. I felt the intense heat of his body radiating through my clothes. His hot breath fanned over my skin as he growled in a possessive, husky tone, ”I’m very conscious... and I want you. Now.”

I placed my hands on his chest, trying to push him back gently not because I wanted to refuse, but because I was terrified for him. ”But your wound... it’ll get damaged. You might bleed out again, you madman,” I breathed, my voice hitching.

A dangerous, lopsided smirk touched his lips. He ran his hand down my back, stopping at the base of my spine in a slow motion that sent shivers through every cell of my body. ”Let the wound bleed... I don’t care, as long as I get what I want.”

His hand slid up to cup my jaw, his thumb pressing firmly against my lower lip. My heart hammered so hard I thought it would burst through my ribs. I remembered what I had seen in the bathroom the raw sight of him and the desire began to pool inside me automatically.

Now, with his hard body pressing against mine, I felt my pussy growing wet; resisting him was becoming an impossible task.

He leaned his head into the crook of my neck, inhaling my scent deeply as if drawing strength from it. He began to plant hot, stinging kisses along my vein, forcing a soft moan from my lips. I gripped his thick hair with both hands. Damn him... he knows exactly how to strip me of my will.

But I suddenly pulled back, escaping his reach. I tried to catch my breath, my tone turning firm. ”This isn’t happening. You are going to sleep and rest. Now.”

He watched me with eyes burning with hunger, his gaze never wavering. ”Julie, don’t be stubborn. Come here,” he commanded.

”No,” I insisted, shaking my head. My eyes darted to the neglected breakfast tray on the table. I grabbed it like a lifeline, desperate to change the subject. ”You haven’t had your breakfast yet.”

”You are my breakfast,” he countered brazenly, tracking my every move. ”Come here.”

I couldn’t help but laugh. ”You really are crazy.” I picked up the tray and stood over him. ”Now, lean back against the headboard like you were.”

He raised an eyebrow in a challenge. ”Am I taking orders now?”

”Yes,” I replied confidently as I rearranged his pillows. ”Now, do it.”

I fluffed the pillows behind his back while he watched me in a heavy, imposing silence. I sat right beside him. ”I’m going to feed you.”

He let out a mock sigh of frustration. ”Am I a small child?”

I leaned in, whispering seductively, ”You are my baby... my little baby.”

Suddenly, he clamped his hand around my wrist, pulling me toward him. ”Don’t call me that,” he said, his voice deep and dangerous.

”My baby,” I repeated defiantly, looking him straight in the eye.

He squeezed my wrist harder, leaning in to hiss against my ear, ”Call me ’Daddy’.”

”Daddy?” I gasped in pure shock.

A wicked glint sparked in his eyes. ”The way you just said that... it’s making me even harder.”

Heat flooded my entire face. ”Just focus on the breakfast!” I snapped, trying to hide my blush. I shoved a slice of cucumber into his mouth to shut him up. If he kept talking like that, I swear I’d forget about his wound entirely and turn into a succubus, devouring every single inch of him.

Olivia’s POV

After Julie left the office, I walked in with my arms crossed, my eyes tracking Steve’s still-agitated features. ”Do you two really know each other from primary school?” I asked, my suspicion obvious.

”Yes,” he replied shortly, adjusting his shirt.

I walked toward him slowly, studying him. ”Hmm... you two aren’t lovers.”

He didn’t wait for another word. His hand shot out, grabbing my waist and pulling me flush against him until the space between us vanished. ”Are you jealous?” he asked with a playful, teasing tone, searching for the answer in my eyes.

”No,” I lied, keeping my voice cold.

He tilted his head, leaning in to kiss me, but I pressed my hand against his chest and pulled away. ”What are you doing?”

”I missed you,” he said in a low voice, his eyes locked onto mine. ”I’m coming over tonight.”

I shook my head. ”Don’t come.”

”I’m coming,” he insisted with a confident smile.

Against my better judgment, I smiled back. I turned and walked out of the office, only to run into Carlos, who looked rushed and irritated. He glanced into the office and barked, ”Steve, you’re here. Let’s go.”

”Coming, sir,” Steve replied, stepping out behind me immediately.

I watched his back as he departed with Carlos. The warmth of his hand on my waist lingered, leaving me wondering about the truth behind his connection to that girl.

Steve’s POV

We walked out of the club, and Carlos was visibly agitated. We got into the car, and I slid into the driver’s seat. I glanced at him through the rearview mirror and asked cautiously, ”Are you alright, sir?”

”Steve... have you ever been in love before?” he asked, his voice drenched in sorrow.

”I think I have,” I replied, keeping my eyes fixed on the road.

”What if the girl you love doesn’t love you back?” he said, his voice straining. ”What if she loves your friend... how would you act?”

I gripped the steering wheel firmly. ”I don’t know,” I said in a low voice. ”But I think if she chose my friend, there’s nothing I could do. I’d have to let her go.”

Carlos exhaled a heavy, frustrated sigh. ”How can I let her go? How am I supposed to endure it?”
