My father sold me to the Mafia King

Chapter 154: 154/Stolen Innocence

Chapter 154

Julie’s Point of View

I had completely surrendered, waiting with a trembling heart and a burning body for what this monster would do to me tonight... Robert leaned toward me slowly, and I felt his warm tongue licking my cheek with a strange gentleness. Then, suddenly, he let out a loud barking sound!

My God, what is wrong with him? Has he gone mad? The barking grew louder and louder. I snapped my eyes open in alarm, only to be struck by the truth; I saw Axel on top of me, enthusiastically licking my cheek and barking in my face. I sat up with a jolt, shock tying my tongue. ”Was that... a dream?”

It had felt so real! I swear I felt his dominant presence, his rough touch, and the heat of his breath searing my skin. I shook my head violently as if chasing his ghost out of the room, muttering in disgust: ”It was a nightmare... I can’t imagine that stupid monster touching me!”

I got out of bed with unsteady steps and headed straight for the bathroom. I felt a flush of shame when I realized I was wet down there... I cursed myself in a low voice for this pathetic state I’d reached.

I’m getting wet every single day now! Damn it... I miss those quiet days at my father’s house, where my feelings never stirred in such a wild way. I was never obsessed with peeping on men while they showered, nor with stroking my cursed pussy that’s gone mad, and I never, ever had these diabolical dreams.

I missed my simple dreams; when I’d see myself running into an exam hall having forgotten all the answers, or dreaming of my brother, Steve, suddenly coming home... Now, I’ve turned into nothing but a whore dreaming about Robert fucking her! And why Robert specifically? I hate him!

I stood under the cold water, hoping to regain my senses. After I stepped out, I stood before the mirror, my body trembling with resentment. I said to myself bitterly: ”Even in your damn dream he didn’t say he loves you, and you said ’I love you’ to him, you foolish idiot!”

I dressed in my gym clothes quickly, rage simmering in my veins. I couldn’t stand the thought, and for some reason, I was furious because he didn’t say ”I love you” even in my imagination! I put out food for Axel, then leaned down and said to him sorrowfully: ”Why did you wake me up? You should have let me ask him one more time!” How pathetic am I... am I really this desperate, waiting to hear that word from him in a dream?

I ate my breakfast in a hurry and headed straight to Max. I found him waiting for me in the gym with his serious expression. ”You’re late,” he said the moment he saw me.

I shot him a look that could kill. ”And if I’m late, what’s going to happen? Will the sky fall?”

He raised an eyebrow in surprise, looking at me for a long moment. ”And why all this anger?”

”I’m not angry!” I replied, clenching my fist, my voice taut with tension.

He shook his head mockingly. ”Yeah... that’s very clear.”

Stuart’s Point of View

Meredith was sleeping beside me on the bed, but her body was trembling even in her terrified slumber.

Yesterday, she spiraled into a very difficult state again; she started drinking non-stop, at times sobbing bitterly and at others cursing and screaming incoherent words until she surrendered to sleep from sheer exhaustion.

I thought the years would be enough to make her forget, but every time she relapses, that black hole returns to swallow us both.

I remembered that day that turned everything black before my eyes; when we went to choose a wedding dress. She was distracted, lost, her eyes staring into the void. ”My beauty, what’s wrong with you today?” I asked tenderly, trying to break her silence.

”Nothing,” she replied with a killing coldness.

I wasn’t convinced. I took her cold hand and said: ”Ever since we got in the car, I felt you weren’t right. Even after we got to the shop, though you were so excited for this, you now look miserable.”

”Stuart, don’t pressure me,” she said sharply, pulling her hand away.

”I won’t, but I want to check on you,” I replied calmly.

”I’m fine,” she muttered.

She started trying on white dresses, but she looked like a walking corpse; no sparkle in her eye, no smile to reflect a bride’s joy.

For a moment, my heart tightened with fear; had she changed her mind about the marriage? Had she stopped loving me? We left the shop and got into the car, but I didn’t head home. Instead, I drove toward a distant, secluded place.

Meredith noticed when I turned onto a strange road and said in a panic: ”Stuart, this isn’t the way home!”

”Because I’m not taking you home yet,” I said firmly.

”Stuart, are you crazy? Take me home now!” she screamed, hitting the dashboard.

”No,” I answered with one word.

I drove until we reached a hotel and rented a room. ”Stuart, I’m not staying here,” Meredith said, backing away.

”You won’t,” I said, locking the door behind us. ”I just want to know what happened.”

We went inside, and I shut the door firmly. ”Stuart, nothing happened. You’re just imagining things,” she said defiantly.

I approached her, my heart racing from the tension. ”Am I imagining that you’re sad? That you’re not speaking? That you’re breathing like a fish out of water, struggling to die?”

”Yes, it’s all a fantasy in your head,” she replied with an irritating coldness.

I grabbed her shoulders and shook her gently. ”Meredith, tell me what happened and don’t hide anything from me... why aren’t you speaking? Why are you keeping this from me? Am I not the man you love?”

Suddenly, she pushed me away and started pacing the room like a madwoman, her eyes burning with a strange, terrifying light. ”You want to know what happened?”

”Yes,” I said, my heart nearly stopping.

”Are you ready for what you’re going to hear?” she said, standing right in front of me. ”Will you keep looking at me the same way, Stuart?”

Terror gripped me at her tone. A chill ran down my spine. ”What is it, Meredith? Speak!”

”Yesterday... my boss asked me to stay late for work,” she said in a monotonous voice, as if recounting a nightmare. She paused, then continued: ”When everyone left, I went to his office to ask for my salary... do you know what he did, Stuart?”

The words froze in my throat. I couldn’t speak. ”He locked his office door,” she said, tears exploding from her eyes. ”He picked me up, put me on the sofa, and started kissing me like a beast.”

I felt a ringing in my ears. ”No!” I shouted instinctively.

But she continued in a trembling voice filled with loathing: ”He tore my shirt... he started squeezing my breasts, then he shoved his dick inside me.”

”Shut up, Meredith!” I screamed, putting my hands over my ears.

But she continued her breakdown, emptying all the filth that had settled in her body: ”Don’t you want to hear? Then listen! He raped me violently in my pussy, and in my ass... he put his cursed, disgusting fingers in my pussy... he shoved his dick in my mouth!”

I couldn’t control myself. I turned toward the wardrobe and threw a punch with all my might until the wood shattered. ”Stop, Meredith! Close your mouth, don’t speak!” I screamed in shock and pain.

”He raped me in a way that made me hate myself and hate everything in my life!” she said, collapsing in tears. ”Now do you know why I look sad?”

Her words gnawed at my insides.

Rage possessed me until I could no longer see. I walked to her and embraced her with a primal force. She began to sob and gasp violently. We fell to the floor together as I squeezed her in my arms, holding her to my chest as if trying to pull her back inside me where my heart could protect her, fearing anyone would snatch her or harm her again.

I cried with her... I cried because I couldn’t do anything at that moment. I couldn’t imagine how much she had suffered alone. I wiped her tears and said in a stony voice filled with vengeance: ”I will get revenge for you, my love... I swear, I will get revenge.”
