Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

So, at this moment, she could only wait for rescue!

”So cold...” Even though Xia Qingqian felt cold, she had to endure it, holding her hands over her belly. Here were her babies, and if she felt cold, her babies definitely felt it too, so she couldn’t let them get cold!

”Ah-choo! Ah-choo!” The coldness of the room made her sneeze several times! That bone-chilling cold caused her whole body to ache from sneezing!

”Babies, don’t be afraid, Mommy’s here, and Mommy won’t let anything happen to you!” Xia Qingqian tried hard to hold herself together! And she was also trying to maintain her best condition!

She told herself, even in the pitch-black space, she couldn’t be afraid! Because right now, she was the biggest person here and should protect the children in her belly!

In her life, she feared nothing except dark spaces and thunder!

Because when she was a child, her dad, Mr. Xia, often gambled and lost, got drunk, and when he returned, upon seeing Xia Qingqian, he would just throw her into the small room on the rooftop without saying a word.

That small room was tiny and dark, and every time, Mr. Xia would lock her up on stormy nights with thunder and rain!

Gradually, she became especially afraid of the night and thunder!

This was the long-lasting shadow of being repeatedly locked in the small dark room!

Xia Qingqian’s feet were terribly swollen, and now, she lost her direction in the dark night, just like countless nights when she was locked by Mr. Xia, huddled in a corner, with nothing to do but wait for someone to come and release her!

And the longest time Mr. Xia locked her was four days and three nights!

If it weren’t for the neighbors going to the rooftop to dry things, no one would notice Xia Qingqian being locked on the rooftop!

Meanwhile, her father continued to gamble, watching others bet in the casino!

The more she thought, the more Xia Qingqian feared; she was familiar with the environment of the little dark room on the rooftop of the slum, although scared, she could still hold on until the day her father would let her out!

But here, it’s different, no matter how she shouted inside, it seemed people outside couldn’t hear her voice!

She didn’t know how long she could last!

It was as cold as a thousand-year-old tomb here! Piercingly cold!

”Babies, Mommy will definitely hold on, waiting for your daddy to come and rescue you! Don’t be afraid!” Whether because of the stiffness from the cold or something else, she felt her babies kicking her as her hand rested on her belly; her heart instantly warmed, she gasped from the cold and forced herself to endure the fear flowing through her chest!

She felt her babies kicking her belly! Again and again, causing spasms in her lower abdomen, this feeling was not unfamiliar, it was a precursor to pain!

She struggled to spread her legs, her trembling hands stroking her belly, and kept murmuring, ”Babies, don’t kick Mommy anymore, Mommy’s in pain!”

At this moment, Xia Qingqian was really like a child, standing there, momentarily at a loss, as the sharp pain from her lower abdomen left her mind blank!

Xia Qingqian felt as though she was about to give birth!

In an instant, once she realized this outcome, she was terrified!

Could this be the place she’d give birth? Without a midwife or any facilities! Most importantly, there was no one around in this place, what should she do?
