Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 549: Chapter 550 Too Biased

Mu Shini didn’t say anything, and ran upstairs.

Mu Yanfu wanted to chase after her.

But Liao Jiawei stopped him, ”You should go back, don’t bother Nian Nian.”

Mu Yanfu looked troubled, and said to Liao Jiawei, ”Dad, I’m really worried about Nian Nian. You have to talk to her. Breaking off ties with the Bao Family isn’t good for anyone, and this marriage was decided by you and Nian Nian’s mother.”

”Enough, we’ll talk about Nian Nian’s matters later. She’s in a very bad mood right now.” Liao Jiawei waved his hand, speaking sincerely, ”I really didn’t know Nian Nian suffered so much at the Mu Family. As a father, how could you allow your family to bully Nian Nian? Do you really see my granddaughter as your daughter from the bottom of your heart?”

Hearing this, Mu Yanfu’s legs went weak. He was indeed afraid of his wife and doted on Wen Chunlan.

After all, Wen Chunlan was sensible, intelligent, helped him a lot in his career and also bore him a son and a daughter.

While rebuilding his family, he had inevitably neglected Mu Shini.

”Dad, my Xue Rou is indeed a bit willful, but she absolutely never meant to harm Nian Nian. It’s normal for there to be some disagreements between sisters.” Mu Yanfu looked steadily at Liao Jiawei and said, ”Dad, don’t just listen to Nian Nian’s side of the story. In the Mu Family, Nian Nian has always been withdrawn...”

”Is she really withdrawn, or have you all been excluding her, not treating her as part of the family?” Liao Jiawei’s voice was heavy, ”You know, with my capabilities, raising ten Nian Nians wouldn’t be an issue. I put her in the Mu Family not to save a meal or effort. I just wanted you all to understand that you’re family, and not behave worse than strangers...”

It seemed that Mu Yanfu never really understood his intentions.

Liao Jiawei waved his hand, issuing an order to leave, ”Enough! Nian Nian is married into the Bao Family now, so you don’t need to worry about her anymore. Which daughter or son you want to pamper is your own business.”

Mu Yanfu was clearly biased, and never gave Nian Nian any warmth.

The biggest mistake of his life was raising Nian Nian in the Mu Family.

”Dad, about Nian Nian and Bo Sishen...” Mu Yanfu still didn’t get an answer and was unwilling to leave.

”Didn’t you hear what Nian Nian said? She wants to leave Bo Sishen. You only care about the bride price from the Bao Family, don’t you?” Liao Jiawei’s face showed a hint of anger as he said to Mu Yanfu, ”I am Nian Nian’s grandfather. I will handle her matters! Just go back and take care of your wife and children. Nian Nian is so heartbroken, and yet as her father, you only asked about her marriage with Bo Sishen. Don’t you realize how cruel you are to Nian Nian?”

Mu Yanfu lowered his head in silence.

”Nian Nian never told me about the grievances she suffered in the Mu Family, but no matter how much she smiled or acted cheeky in front of me, she couldn’t hide the sadness and loneliness in her eyes. Do you realize how much you pushed my precious granddaughter? Her solitary nature was forced upon her by you all!”

Liao Jiawei’s voice was deep and filled with anger, ”From now on, Nian Nian’s matters are no longer the Mu Family’s business. Send her documents and belongings over quickly. If you dare to harm Nian Nian behind my back again, don’t blame me for being rude! Go home and properly discipline your younger daughter! Don’t let her bully Nian Nian again! If it happens again, I, Liao Jiawei, will be the first to discipline your daughter!”

”Dad, don’t get angry, take care of your health.” Mu Yanfu lowered his head, trying to calm Liao Jiawei.

”Someone, see the guest out!” Liao Jiawei ignored Mu Yanfu and ordered sternly before turning to head upstairs.

Nian Nian was hurt and wronged. Mu Yanfu didn’t offer her any warmth or care. Since her father didn’t love her, her grandfather would.
