Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 534: Chapter 535: Entering Through the Window

Tan Mu was working attentively in the living room when he heard the door slam shut.

He quickly looked up and saw Mu Shini walking in, covered in Bo Sishen’s coat, and was somewhat surprised. ”Young Madam, where is your husband?”

”Tan Mu, open the door for me.”

Bo Sishen was shut outside the door. Afraid to ask Mu Shini to open it, he called out to Tan Mu.

Upon hearing Bo Sishen’s voice, Tan Mu hurriedly got up from the sofa and rushed towards the door.

But Mu Shini, with a cold face, stared at Tan Mu and said, ”Tan Mu, if you dare to open the door, just try it!”

Seeing that the Young Madam was still angry, Tan Mu didn’t dare make any rash moves. He stood at the door, not daring to open it.

Although Tan Mu was usually reserved, he understood how to gauge the situation. Mr. Bo might be powerful, but he was actually a man completely devoted to his wife. At this moment, Tan Mu would rather risk offending Mr. Bo than the Young Madam before him.

Offending Mr. Bo might at most lead to some physical punishment.

But offending the Young Madam would make life unbearable for Mr. Bo, and no one below them would have it easy either.

”Sir, the Young Madam won’t let me open the door,” Tan Mu stood at the door, listening to the rain pouring outside, accompanied by thunder and lightning. It was a cold winter day.

”Tan Mu, how dare you not open the door!” Bo Sishen pressed his ear against the door, but did not hear the sound of it opening, his brows furrowing deeply.

”Sir, you have instructed us to follow the Young Madam’s orders in everything...” Tan Mu said with extreme difficulty.

Unable to refuse Mr. Bo, he could only use his own words to block him.

”...” Bo Sishen listened to Tan Mu’s words, feeling as if thousands of horses were galloping through his mind!

At this moment, his heart felt just like those galloping horses...

Mu Shini was soaked through, shivering with cold. She looked around and walked towards the bedroom. But as she was about to enter, she glanced back at Tan Mu, who seemed to want to open the door, and warned, ”Tan Mu, if you dare let him in, I’ll have my grandfather use all his connections to ensure you disappear from the military registry forever!”

”Yes, I will remember the Young Madam’s lesson!” Tan Mu replied respectfully, then stood solidly at the door like a block of wood.

Mu Shini’s grandfather, General Liao, was the Army Commander and had no authority over the Air Force where Tan Mu served.

However, if General Liao asked Bo Sishen to hand someone over, Bo Sishen would have no choice but to comply.

Tan Mu had to ensure he kept his iron rice bowl!

Once Mu Shini was sure Tan Mu wouldn’t betray her, she felt relieved and went to take a shower and change her clothes.

At the wardrobe, she found only bathrobes—all the other clothes were men’s.

This was Bo Sishen’s house. She didn’t know where she was taken to, but she was certain she was taken out of Qingcheng.

No matter. She would take a shower and change first.

Mu Shini locked the door, took a bathrobe, and entered the bathroom.

...

Outside the bedroom door.

”Bang bang bang—”

”Tan Mu, open the door!”

Bo Sishen banged on the door from outside.

The banging sound pounded on Tan Mu’s heart. ”Sir, it’s not that I don’t want to open the door, but the Young Madam ordered not to open it.”

”That damn girl!”

Bo Sishen cursed under his breath.

That girl, was she trying to condemn him without giving him a chance to explain?

Tan Mu didn’t open the door but opened the window and stuck his head out, seeing Bo Sishen drenched like a drowned rat. Holding back a laugh, Tan Mu said, ”Sir, the Young Madam didn’t say I couldn’t open the window!”

Bo Sishen thought he would really be shut out by that girl, but this wooden-block Tan Mu suddenly opened the window for him.

”Opening this window earns you a merit!”

Bo Sishen nimbly jumped through the window.
