Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 343: Chapter 344: Fulfilling the Duties of a Wife

Mu Shini’s face turned bright red, clutching the tangerine peel jar tightly as she shook her head and said, ”I have no regrets!”

”No regrets?” Bo Sishen asked, his expression flat and eyebrow raised as he looked at her.

”I just don’t want you to suffer too much, and I know someone who understands how to treat this. So, I asked Tan Mu for your medical records behind your back, and let my family help. You gave the Mu Family so many betrothal gifts and married me, giving me a reason to move out of the Mu Family. I have to do something for you, right?”

Mu Shini said softly, her face blushing.

Her smooth move out of the Mu Family was not because her reasons were so good, but because she was already a married daughter; even if the Mu Family didn’t say anything, she felt it was awkward to continue staying at her parents’ place.

”I didn’t give you a wedding, you’ve been wronged,” Bo Sishen’s brow furrowed with a hint of apology.

”It’s okay! I’m still young, and I don’t want to have a wedding and let everyone know I got married...” Mu Shini’s breathing became a bit tight.

Given Bo Sishen’s current state, with his inconvenient mobility and odd temperament, he surely wouldn’t like being in crowded places.

He certainly didn’t feel confident enough to hold a wedding in this condition.

”Are you worried that having a wedding with me, given my current state, would embarrass you?” Bo Sishen raised an eyebrow, his tone carrying a hint of displeasure.

”No, no!” Mu Shini hurriedly waved her hands and shook her head.

”Then do you wish for me to be able to stand up and recover from my ailment?” Bo Sishen watched her as she sat on a nearby round stool. He reached out and pinched her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze.

Suddenly confined by him, Mu Shini looked at the face just inches in front of hers with a bit of tremble, her eyes only straying because of the deep and ambiguous gaze that made her heart pound like a deer caught in the headlights. She dared not look at him long and shifted her gaze slightly.

She whispered, ”Of course I hope you can recover and stand up soon!”

Otherwise, why would she put so much effort into getting medicine for him?

And if he got better, she wouldn’t need to help him take off his clothes and watch him bathe.

Just after one try, she was already scared.

Watching a man bathe was truly embarrassing.

She had also once secretly peeked at an uncle bathing — although she only saw his back, his build was something else!

”If I get better, aren’t you worried that I would make you fulfill your wifely duties?”

His slender fingers rubbed her chin, and a sly smile gradually appeared on his lips.

”What?” Mu Shini was slightly stunned, looking back at him and catching his eyes full of interest. She understood his meaning, and her face flushed hot red, ”You mean... making love?”

Bo Sishen paused for a moment, then the mischievous smile on his lips deepened, his gaze growing darker, ”Not many girls would describe marital intimacy so bluntly and explicitly.”

Mu Shini’s face grew even redder, ”Isn’t that what happens between husband and wife? Aren’t we legally married? Talking about this isn’t illegal, right?”

”If I get better, would you fulfill your wifely duties and practice with me?” Bo Sishen lifted her chin, his deep black eyes staring at her.

Mu Shini’s face broke into a smile as she said, ”If you get better, of course, I would fulfill my wifely duties...”

Grandfather said his condition was severe, even with medication, he might not recover.

For someone paralyzed from the waist down, she could only use words to please him, guiding him towards happiness. She might as well say whatever he liked to hear.

Anyway, it wouldn’t hurt her.
