Chapter 1199: Chapter 1192: Two Prescriptions

Lin Tian suddenly spoke, with a confident demeanor, leaving Ma Wenjie, Fang Shilei, and others stunned.

“What nonsense are you spouting?”

Ma Wenjie turned around with a stern face and yelled at Lin Tian, “You think you can handle this treatment? Do you consider this a student internship class? If something happens, can you take responsibility? Stand aside and watch!”

“The way you’re treating it now is what will cause something to happen!”

Lin Tian shook his head with a calm expression, “You can’t possibly not understand what I’m saying, right?”

“Ridiculous! I wouldn’t understand? You don’t even know about the Heavenly Plate Vein, and you’re making up things about the so-called Lotus Heart Meridian, aren’t you?”

Ma Wenjie sneered and said coldly, “If it weren’t for Teacher Fang, I’d kick you out immediately! Keep quiet and watch how the two professors perform acupuncture! Many students don’t have the chance to see experts in action, you’re fortunate and don’t even realize it!”

“Lin Tian! Just watch for now! I know you understand traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, but Ma Wenjie comes from a family of traditional Chinese medicine with strong roots in Western medicine as well; his skills are comparable to top domestic experts!”

Fang Shilei quickly pulled Lin Tian’s hand, whispering a reminder, “Let Professor Tan and Professor Hong perform acupuncture first, otherwise wasting time will only make Yan Song’s condition more dangerous!”

Yet, both Tan Zhiren and Hong Hui showed a hint of surprise as they listened to Lin Tian.

“Forget it!”

Seeing that neither Ma Wenjie nor Fang Shilei believed him, Lin Tian shrugged and stopped arguing.

Ma Wenjie snorted coldly and then signaled Tan Zhiren and Hong Hui to proceed.

Their expertise in traditional Chinese medicine was indeed remarkable; the acupuncture techniques of Tan Zhiren and Hong Hui were like a divine art, with their needle application very fast.

One person assisted in unclogging the coagulated dead blood, while the other treated the Heavenly Plate Life Vein.

In just half a minute.

Yan Song’s originally pale face showed a hint of redness.

His tightly closed eyes, and lashes began to tremble slightly.

“There’s a response!”

Fang Shilei’s eyes lit up, and her face showed joy.

Lin Tian frowned, opened his mouth slightly, wanting to speak, but in the end, he shook his head in silence.

The reaction from Yan Song was actually because the two elders followed Ma Wenjie’s instructions; treating the Heavenly Plate Vein, then unclogging and dissolving the coagulated dead blood caused an immediate bodily reaction.

In truth, at this moment, Yan Song was in extreme pain internally.

He couldn’t wake up, much less cry out.

But Ma Wenjie was unaware of this; upon seeing it, a smile emerged on his face, his expression more confident, urging, “Professor Tan, Professor Hong, continue!”

The two took a deep breath and looked at Ma Wenjie with admiration.

However, within less than half a minute of resuming the acupuncture, Yan Song on the hospital bed suddenly started convulsing all over, white foam coming out of his mouth, and his eyes rolled back.

“What’s happening? His whole body’s energy and pulse are in total chaos!”

Tan Zhiren and Hong Hui quickly stopped acupuncture, held down the continuously twitching Yan Song, and explored, finding his internal state in chaos.

At this moment.

The once confident Ma Wenjie’s face changed dramatically, he quickly stepped forward to help hold Yan Song down, saying urgently, “His heart was instantly filled with a large amount of dead blood, what’s going on? Hold him down, I’ll relieve it!”

Saying that, Ma Wenjie picked up a Silver Needle, aiming to pierce Yan Song’s heart area.

But Yan Song struggled even more violently, and Ma Wenjie was not very skilled with acupuncture, making it difficult to get the needle precisely.

“Xiao Lei, and that… Lin Tian, come over and help hold him down!”

Ma Wenjie quickly turned around, shouting urgently.

Facing the extremely urgent situation, Fang Shilei was also anxious, pulling Lin Tian along, instructing, “Lin Tian, help hold him down!”

The situation was so dire that Fang Shilei could only follow Ma Wenjie’s instructions.

But just as Ma Wenjie’s Silver Needle was lowered, Yan Song suddenly emitted a painful “uh-uh-uh” sound, his face twisted with endless agony.

With the next breath, Yan Song’s breath suddenly weakened, and death Qi began to appear.

“This is bad!”

At this moment, Ma Wenjie panicked, his hand holding the Silver Needle started to tremble.

He still couldn’t save him!

Holding down Yan Song, Tan Zhiren and Hong Hui’s faces darkened, exchanged a glance, and sighed inwardly.

But at this very moment, Lin Tian, holding one of Yan Song’s arms, moved like a flash; grabbing a Silver Needle from the side, without Ma Wenjie noticing, the needle swiftly pierced from Yan Song’s underarm to the heart area.

As the Silver Needle was inserted, Yan Song, who had been struggling, immediately calmed down, and the foam-mouthing ceased.

Ma Wenjie’s face was stunned, then he quickly checked the situation, finding Yan Song’s pulse and internal condition all returned to normal, immediately delighted, “It’s stabilized! Wait a moment, I’ll write a prescription, and after he takes it for a day or two, he’ll be fine!”

After saying this, Ma Wenjie let out a long sigh, and then wiped the cold sweat from his face.

“Is he really okay?”

Fang Shilei also looked surprised, saying, “Really thanks to Wenjie! But earlier it was too dangerous, if not for you, this student might have… We must inform Principal Gao that it’s not acceptable to treat oneself as a test subject without a teacher’s permission, it’s too dangerous!”

“That’s right!”

Ma Wenjie nodded in agreement, his face full of pride and smugness, saying, “Earlier was indeed risky! But, I’ve experienced surgeries abroad a thousand times more dangerous, and all the people were saved. What was in front of me is a piece of cake! Earlier I just slightly relieved the heart, and he was cured!”

These words made Fang Shilei look at him with admiration, nodding in joy.

Yet, Tan Zhiren and Hong Hui frowned deeply, exchanging another glance.

Because just now, in those extremely critical moments, they saw Lin Tian’s intervention with their own eyes.

“Who is this little fellow?”

Tan Zhiren and Hong Hui’s gaze couldn’t help but fall on Lin Tian, pondering secretly.

But they did not reveal anything at the moment, deciding to personally look for Lin Tian later.

And now, Ma Wenjie had already walked to the side, pulled out a piece of rough paper, and grabbed a pen to write on it.

“This is a traditional Chinese medicine prescription, for Yan Song’s recuperation. Now take it to the pharmacy at the Clinical College, and ask Mr. Zhu to grab the medicine, then brew as per the pharmacy and have someone deliver it!”

At this moment, Ma Wenjie turned around, handed the prescription to Lin Tian, and commanded directly, “Go quickly! Remember to show Mr. Zhu some respect!”

Lin Tian frowned, not immediately accepting it.

“Lin Tian, just help with the run, Mr. Ma is also tired, and I’m in high heels…”

Seeing Lin Tian hesitate, Fang Shilei quickly urged.

Since even Fang Shilei spoke up, Lin Tian had no choice, took the prescription, asked for the direction to the pharmacy, and proceeded to leave.

The pharmacy was in an ancient-style building on the east side of the Clinical College.

Upon entering, there was only a girl dressed in white at the pharmacy counter.

“Have Mr. Zhu grab this medicine according to the prescription!”

Lin Tian handed the prescription to the girl, speaking directly.

But soon, Lin Tian frowned, retrieved the prescription, looked carefully, tore a piece of paper from the counter, grabbed the pen, quickly wrote on it, then handed both prescriptions to the girl, saying, “Prepare the first prescription first, if there’s an emergency, use the second prescription! Preferably brew both prescriptions! And, the medicine is to be delivered to the temporary emergency room at the Clinical College!”

After speaking, Lin Tian couldn’t be bothered to explain further, turned, and left the pharmacy, leaving the girl at the counter slightly bewildered.
