The Urban Medical Martial Immortal

5: Chapter 5 Song Manshan 5: Chapter 5 Song Manshan Yongjia Hotel’s first floor, at the entrance to the security department’s specialized training area.

Lin Tian stood at the entrance, frowning at the middle-aged man blocking his way.

After leaving Jiann Xinzhu’s office, Lin Tian did not leave right away but went to the security department; he needed to view the hotel security surveillance footage to identify the person who had pushed him down the stairs.

But

as he approached the entrance to the security department, he was stopped by the man in front.

The middle-aged man was dressed in a security uniform and was exceptionally burly.

His gaze was sharp as a knife, and his face naturally exuded an aura of brutality and cold harshness.

Behind the middle-aged man was the indoor training area of the security department.

Dozens of uniformed security personnel stood orderly as if intimidated by the middle-aged man’s authority, and even upon noticing Lin Tian’s situation, none dared to make any move.

“Young fellow, this is a critical area of the security department.

If you have no business here, leave immediately!”

The middle-aged man’s voice was deep, resonating with a dull tone and a hint of menace, enough to instill fear in any ordinary person.

But Lin Tian was unmoved, shook his head, and said calmly, “Uncle, I would like to view the security department’s surveillance footage from the past few days!”

“What did you say?”

The middle-aged man narrowed his eyes, thinking he had misheard, but his expression turned sinister.

It was already noon, and the hotel was at its quietest in terms of guests.

Many off-duty hotel staff had already noticed the situation with Lin Tian, and a crowd had gathered.

Lin Tian’s voice was not loud, but many onlookers heard him, leading to a wave of murmurs.

“Did Lin Tian hit his head when he fell?

He actually dares to ask to view the hotel’s surveillance footage, which is confidential!”

“This man is truly bold, directly asking Song Manshan for the security department’s surveillance footage; he’s courting death!”

“Yeah, Song Manshan is a former member of the Huaxia Special Forces, known for his volatile temper and cold, formidable presence in the hotel.

There was an incident where a Young Master who claimed to be a bar owner provoked him and ended up with his legs broken and thrown out of the hotel!”

“Hush, are you seeking death?

Don’t dare to speak Minister Song’s name out loud!

If this kid knows what’s good for him, he’ll apologize and leave now, maybe Minister Song won’t hold it against him, otherwise…”

As the crowd discussed this, many glanced at Song Manshan’s cold and stern face and couldn’t help but shiver.

Some, appearing sympathetic, kept making gestures to Lin Tian, urging him to leave quickly.

Nevertheless, Lin Tian ignored the discussions and the glances around him, staring at Song Manshan and repeated with a smile, “I said, I would like to borrow and view the security department’s surveillance footage!”

“Are you sure?”

Song Manshan’s voice suddenly turned chilling, his body radiating an extremely dangerous aura, his eyes like bloodthirsty blades fixated on Lin Tian, “Now, considering you were once an employee of our hotel, I’ll give you one chance, just one, to disappear from my sight, and I will spare you this time!

Now, get lost!”

The single word ‘get lost’ carried an astonishing force of intimidation.

All the onlooking hotel staff visibly paled.

However, unperturbed by Song Manshan’s oppressive aura and reprimand, Lin Tian responded coolly, “I’ll give you one chance too.

Let me pass now, get the surveillance footage, and I will consider this matter as never happened!”

“Good!

Good!

Good!”

Song Manshan seemed to burst into a mocking laugh, repeatedly uttering ‘good’ with a face that bore a smile mixed with cruelty and cold harshness.

At the grin, his body tensed, resembling a fierce beast ready to pounce.

“Lin Tian, what are you doing!”

Suddenly, a sharp shout came from the outskirts of the crowd.

The crowd quickly parted, and a woman dressed in an OL suit with her black hair cascading over her shoulders walked through.

It was none other than Jiann Xinzhu’s close friend, the HR director of Yongjia Hotel, Su Yingxue.

She moved to Lin Tian’s side, glaring fiercely at him, then turned to Minister Song with a beaming smile, “Minister Song, this kid doesn’t know the rules, you needn’t be so angry.

I think this is all a misunderstanding!”

Seeing Su Yingxue appear, Song Manshan’s momentum suddenly paused, his eyebrows furrowing, and finally shook his head, saying, “Minister Su, this man openly asked to view the hotel surveillance footage, which is against the rules!

Also, I’ve already given him one chance.

However, since it’s Minister Su pleading for him, I’ll spare him this time!”

With that said, Song Manshan snorted coldly at Lin Tian and turned to leave.

Seeing that Song Manshan was not holding a grudge, Su Yingxue’s expression finally relaxed, and those around them also sighed in relief, secretly rejoicing for Lin Tian.

“Wait!”

But at this moment, Lin Tian chuckled coldly, shaking his head, “Minister Song, I said I wanted to borrow the surveillance footage to take a look, it’s not a misunderstanding, nor is it a joke!”

As Lin Tian spoke, everyone around was stunned, looking at Lin Tian with pity, as though staring at an idiot.

“You’re… you’re beyond hope!”

It had not been easy persuading Song Manshan and resolving the misunderstanding but now, Lin Tian was still acting recklessly, enraging Su Yingxue who glared at Lin Tian with silver teeth gritted.

Song Manshan, too, paused in his steps, turned his head back with a smirk, looking at Lin Tian as if he were staring at a dead man.

“Haha, idiot!

Daring to provoke Yongjia Hotel!”

A laughter full of mockery rang out.

Zhao Xie came forward with a waxen, weak gait, his eyes filled with ill-intent as they first casually swept over Su Yingxue before settling coldly on Lin Tian, “Little bastard, looks like you’ve cracked your skull and turned into an idiot!

Do you know what happens to those who provoke Minister Song of Yongjia Hotel?”

“Let me tell you, there was once a bar owner who verbally insulted Minister Song, who then had his legs broken inside the hotel and thrown out…

“And there was one who came to our hotel to collect protection fees, whom Minister Song crippled by cutting the tendons in his hands and feet…

“And some wealthy sons from Bin City who harassed our hotel’s female staff, they ended up having their third leg disabled…

And now, you want to demand surveillance footage from Minister Song?”

“Heh heh!”

Saying this, Zhao Xie looked proudly toward Song Manshan, “Minister Song, later on, make sure you deal thoroughly with this poor jerk!”

Song Manshan looked indifferently at Zhao Xie, “Zhao Xie, although you are the son of a headquarters director, you still have no right to order me around!”

Hearing this, Zhao Xie’s face turned iron blue, yet he dared not speak another word.

He feared Song Manshan, knowing that if the latter lost his temper, the one to suffer would be himself.

Lin Tian, however, didn’t take Zhao Xie seriously, continuing to address Song Manshan, “Is it you who will show me the surveillance footage, or should I do it myself?”

“Fine!

Very well!

If you’re not afraid to die, then come in!”

Song Manshan sneered, baring his teeth, and turned to walk into the security department’s training ground, not wanting to display bloody methods in front of so many people.

Lin Tian nodded toward an anxiously frowning Su Yingxue and stepped in.

Watching the door to the training ground close, Su Yingxue’s face showed despair and anger, “This idiot is too arrogant and beyond saving!

If it wasn’t for Xinzhu’s sake, I wouldn’t have bothered pleading for him!

Ah, why hasn’t Xinzhu arrived yet…”

“Yingxue, what happened?

Where’s Lin Tian?”

At this moment, an anxious Jiann Xinzhu arrived having heard the news, ignoring Zhao Xie who was trying to curry favor, and hurriedly asked.

“He… he and Minister Song went inside…”

Su Yingxue sighed.

“What!”

Jiann Xinzhu’s face paled; she was well aware of Song Manshan’s strength and ruthlessness, urgently saying, “Quickly get someone to open the door, say it’s on Jiann Xinzhu’s order, hurry…”

But, just as she was speaking, Jiann Xinzhu’s pretty face showed pain and she unexpectedly fainted.

“Xinzhu!”

Su Yingxue screamed, holding onto the fainted Jiann Xinzhu, as the people around panicked, rushing to call an ambulance.
