Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!

Chapter 239: Chapter 239: Miss Qin, No, I’ll Do It Myself

”Mr. Bai, what do you think?”

The two groups of judges simultaneously turned their attention to Bai Chi, the sponsor.

At this moment, Bai Chi was repeatedly replaying the video on his laptop of Qin Xin dissecting a frog, tirelessly.

”Amazing... truly amazing...” Bai Chi couldn’t find any other words and kept repeating this assessment.

The judges were speechless: ”...”

Ao Meng lifted her chin and smiled, ”Young Master Bai’s thoughts are clear, Xinxin is first!”

Feng Liang’s face darkened, ”This isn’t fair!”

Ao Meng sneered, ”Only if the student you like is first is it fair? Then why bother with the competition, just give the award to the one you favor!”

Feng Liang’s face stiffened, ”Vote!”

The two sides were evenly matched, with only Gou Dachun undecided on which side to stand.

Ao Meng pulled Gou Dachun over, ”Teacher Gou, you have always been very fair, right? You won’t vote recklessly, will you?”

Gou Dachun, surprised by Ao Meng’s gentle tone, was taken aback, ”Well... although I really dislike Lan Qingxin, to be honest, her experiment results indeed deserve full marks...”

Ao Meng, satisfied, slapped the table and immediately regained her Dragon Mother presence, ”Xinxin is first! Feng Liang, you have nothing to say!”

Feng Liang looked at the final decisive person, ”Mr. Bai, who do you vote for?”

Bai Chi was in a tough spot, just about to vote for Lan Qingxin to be first when suddenly a shy figure flitted before his eyes.

It was Qin Wenrou holding a teapot, coming to pour tea for the judges.

She didn’t say a word, just gently poured tea for each of the teachers.

When it was Bai Chi’s turn, she deliberately fiddled with the teapot handle.

Bai Chi noticed her fingers were red from being burned.

He immediately softened for a moment.

Sigh, what have I done to deserve this, letting Little Sister-in-law personally make tea for me, and her fingers are even burned.

He quickly took the teapot, ”Miss Qin, no need, I can do it myself.”

Then he sighed and said to Ao Meng, ”I understand you all admire Lan Qingxin for her ten-second dissection skill. However, her methods are indeed too unconventional, not something taught in class, hard to evaluate...”

Seeing Ao Meng’s dark face ready to slam the table and start a fight.

Bai Chi quickly added, ”But this doesn’t mean Lan Qingxin’s competition results are bad. I suggest we have another contest! This time, don’t choose questions that are difficult to score and have too many subjective factors, let’s switch to experiment observation, shall we? Like bacteria culture or anatomical slice observation or something...”

Only then did Ao Meng’s expression soften a bit, ”Let’s go with Mr. Bai’s suggestion. Anyway, Xinxin won’t lose no matter what!”

The crowd: ”...” Anyone who didn’t know might think Little Dragon Girl was Lan Qingxin’s biological mother!

Hearing the news of an additional contest, Qin Wenrou felt a surge of excitement.

The opportunity has arrived!

She was only placed third just now, but if there’s an additional contest, she’s sure to secure first place.

She won’t let Lan Qingxin have another chance to lord it over her.

Sure enough, serving tea and attending to the elders with this move worked well!

Qin Wenrou chuckled to herself, picked up the teapot, and continued gracefully serving tea to the judges.

When she reached Feng Liang, he took the teacup and brushed against the back of her hand, raised an eyebrow and gave her a few more looks.

Qin Wenrou lowered her head and gave a shy smile.

Feng Liang lifted his head, glanced at the empty experiment bench of Qin Xin, and said to Bai Chi, ”Mr. Bai, since we’re having another contest, we should strike while the iron is hot and do it now.”

Bai Chi, without thinking, nodded, ”Alright! Since everyone’s here, just announce the topics.”
