Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!

Chapter 215: Chapter 215: The Warm, Considerate Young Master vs. the Cold, Unapproachable Young Master

Qin Xin’s small hand on the door lock relaxed a little.

Initially, when she heard it was a man’s shirt, she worried for a moment, but after hearing the man’s explanation, her heart couldn’t help but warm.

Mr. Nalan is really a very gentlemanly and considerate person.

He is attentive to the feelings of others.

He doesn’t let others feel awkward.

It must be very comfortable to be around him.

Her long eyelashes fluttered slightly, and she gently held her chest, no, she had died once, she couldn’t fall for it so easily.

She turned on the shower to let warm water wash away her fluttering heart.

Nalan Ye Jue gazed at the bathroom door for a moment.

Just now, when he was fastening her seatbelt in the car, the touch of her skin seemed to still linger on his fingertips.

She’s still young.

He couldn’t rush it.

He swallowed, then turned his wheelchair towards the kitchen.

When Bai Chi pushed the door open and came in, he happened to see Nalan Ye Jue finishing pan-frying a piece of silver cod.

The aroma of deep-sea fish oil made one’s mouth water.

”Jue, Jue, Jue! You actually know how to fry fish? I thought it was the handiwork of your little kitchen god, Xiangxiang.”

Bai Chi rubbed his hands, almost sticking his nose into the beautiful blue and white porcelain plate: ”How did you know I was coming and prepared such a sumptuous dinner? You’re too kind; actually, I’ve already had dinner, but such fragrant silver cod would make a nice midnight snack, best with some ginkgo porridge...”

Before he finished speaking, just as his fingers were about to take the plate, who knew, Nalan Ye Jue’s wheelchair spun, and the plate flew away from his eyes.

”Watch it!” Nalan Ye Jue frowned.

Bai Chi quickly ran to sit at the dining table: ”I know, I know, you want me to pay attention to my table etiquette as a refined gentleman right?”

Nalan Ye Jue coolly said, ”I told you to be careful not to touch the fish. It’s not yours.”

Bai Chi clutched his chest, grumbling with a hurt expression: ”Even if it wasn’t for me, you didn’t have to be so direct, couldn’t you be a bit more tactful?”

This guy is as cold as ever, never caring about others’ feelings, so inconsiderate!

Nalan Ye Jue gave him a cool glance: ”Who invited you here?”

Bai Chi felt even more aggrieved: ”Didn’t I hear your car broke down, so I brought you a spare car? You can’t drive an ordinary car, and this one’s modified, so you can make do with it for two days.”

Bai Chi placed the car keys on the dining table.

He really did come to assist in a time of need.

But, Nalan Ye Jue didn’t have a good expression for him: ”Okay. You can leave now.”

What?

He had just come in and hadn’t even gotten comfortable when he was already being chased away?

He wasn’t allowed to eat the fish either.

Nor did he get to have a chat.

Why did he feel something was off?

Bai Chi scanned the room and finally fixed his gaze on the shoe cabinet at the door.

There... was a pair of small shoes, clearly a woman’s size!

Bai Chi suddenly exploded: ”Jue, you brought a woman home overnight! Whoa, you’re impressive!”

Just as he spoke.

The bathroom door behind him creaked open with a ”squeak—”.

The girl was wearing a men’s shirt, reaching just above her knees, her legs long, white, and slender, covered by a blue and white Imperial University uniform jacket, making her skin look even more like snow.

But she was also wearing a green cap on her head, hiding her face.

Bai Chi was stunned for a moment.

”Whoa, your sister...”

The girl was quite surprised to see someone in the living room.

She immediately closed the bathroom door!

Bai Chi was completely blown away now.

”Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa...” Bai Chi screamed in frustration, only to suppress his voice into a low buzzing sound like a mosquito under Nalan Ye Jue’s icy gaze—

”Didn’t you say you had no designs, no thoughts about your sister?”

”You’ve brought the little waste back to your private villa!”

”And let her use your bathroom!”

”Let her wear your clothes!”
