The First Store System

Chapter 1340: Second Store Upgrade Quest(8)

Sirish reached for the last shelf in the third row, and when he pulled his hand out, it held a skill card.

As Sirish read the details on the card, his breath turned rough in excitement.

[Name: Reaperʼs Traverse

Type: Movement

Level: God

Cultivation Level: Early to Peak Supreme God

Effect: Transcends mortal limitations, enabling instantaneous movement through the realms of death

Description: The user harnesses the transcendent essence of death to grant the user unparalleled movement capabilities. This skill allows the user to transcend mortal boundaries and navigate the realms of death, enabling them to traverse vast distances instantly.

The skill demands profound understanding and control over the element of death. The strain on the userʼs energy and focus can be considerable, and it requires constant vigilance while traversing through the realms of death.

Price: One ultimate eight hundred fifty thousand supreme Sacred stones.]

[Reaperʼs Traverse] was one of the ultimate movement skills for the death element in the Sacred Dimension. The realm of death wasnʼt meant here as another realm. It meant that once the skill got activated, the user would turn into the death element and instantly teleport into the range of the skill.

Xonaris also had the [Reaperʼs Traverse] for exchange in the library, but it was one of the most expensive skills of all categories, with only a few skills requiring more Value points than it. In addition to that, the skill was only open to those members of the race who had reached the Supreme God level cultivation.

Even though Sirish got the skill, he didnʼt immediately decide what to do. The skillʼs intense difficulty was known to everyone who knew about it. There had only been one known user of the skill, and that was the ruler, who not only surpassed the primogenitor of the race but also took the Xonaris to the peak of the dimension and then led to the isolation of the race due to his ambitions.

”How could I hesitate?” Sirish suddenly mumbled with a disappointed expression on his face.

He was someone who had trumped the bloodline purity of the primogenitor when he was already in the Primal Dimension. If the ruler at that time could do it, why couldnʼt he do the same?

The comparison acted as a volatile element and helped Sirish make the decision.

He then moved on to the next row and reached for the last shelf. Sirish pulled out a skill of dark element, which had a debuff property.

Sirish wasnʼt someone who liked to fight weaker versions of his opponents, so he rejected the skill and pulled out another one.

Time flew by, and it took a while for him to find a supporting skill related to the darkness element that boosted his strength unprecedentedly.

Since he had bought one skill each for attack, defense, movement, and supporting type, only one more skill was left for him.

Sirish then reached into the God level shelf of the top row and pulled out a combination type skill belonging to the darkness element. He didnʼt like what he saw, so he immediately returned it.

Sirish then pulled out another one, and as luck would have it, he found a suitable skill at that time.

[Name: Reaperʼs Embrace

Type: Combination (Support & Attack)

Level: God

Cultivation Level: Early to Peak Supreme God

Effect: Empowers the user with a dual aspect - bolstering their strength while delivering a devastating, soul-draining strike to a single enemy in close combat.

Description: The user fuses the paradoxical essence of death to empower the user with a dual aspect of support and attack. This skill channels the nurturing and destructive facets of death, granting the user enhanced prowess while delivering a soul-draining strike that leaves adversaries shattered.

1.) Reaperʼs Resurgence: The user harnesses the nurturing essence of death to revitalize their own energy and vitality. The nurturing aspect bolsters the userʼs strength, agility, and endurance, providing them with heightened strength and resistance against incoming assaults.

2.) Reaperʼs Grasp: The user channels the relentless essence of death to deliver a soul-draining strike to a single adversary in close combat. The strike weakens the enemyʼs resolve and body by ripping apart their spiritual essence. The stolen essence boosts the userʼs strength and vitality, improving combat abilities.

The skill demands profound understanding and control over the element of death. The skillʼs dual nature requires careful energy management and focus to balance the nurturing and destructive aspects.

Price: Eleven ultimate Sacred stones.]

Sirish read the skill with excitement. Before that, [Reaperʼs Traverse] was the favorite skill pulled out by him, but after the emergence of [Reaperʼs Embrace], the situation had changed.

The skill particularly excited him because the Xonaris library didnʼt have it in the raceʼs vast arsenal of abilities. The price of the skill further added to his excitement.

Sirishʼs confidence in the store was such that he didnʼt even glance at the contract between the beast and him. He firmly believed that the more expensive the product sold in the store, the more the customer would profit from the item.

It was an immediate decision for him, and even if he had to return all four earlier summoned skills for [Reaperʼs Embrace], he wouldnʼt hesitate to do that.

Since Sirish had summoned God level skills for all five types, he no longer needed to be there. The next moment, he walked away from the counter, his direction being the semi-pillar, where there was already a large line of customers.

Even though only several minutes had passed after Sirish began his summoning for a suitable God level movement type skill, more than an hour had passed in Panagea due to the threefold time flow there.

Laney was still annoyed by her failure to get the herb, but he had stopped showing it on the outside and no longer contradicted the group. She had accepted a low reward because of the herb, and now, even though she wanted to renegotiate it, it was no longer possible.

If she didnʼt want to receive the failure punishment from the Panagea system there was no giving up on the quest , so there was no meaning left in renegotiation. She could only complete the quest and begin her search for the next item.
