The First Store System

Chapter 1338: Second Store Upgrade Quest(6)

The beast had a smile on its face, but it suddenly froze, and its only remaining eye turned blank.

The next moment, a green light covered Sirish, who was in no condition to know what was happening around him. But his heart was still beating, making him the survivor of the two.

Following that, Sirishʼs consciousness returned to the store, and before he could react to anything that happened in the battle, an unbearable prickling pain hit him.

When it disappeared, the result and the way the result happened hit him. Sirish didnʼt feel any joy at all, despite winning the battle.

The Black-Dotted Foss was a strong opponent, but he never expected to expand every last bit of himself and then win. It was nothing but an extreme disappointment.

Sirish took a deep breath since the battle had deeply affected his mental strength. He didnʼt have such a weak mental capacity that he would lose hope in himself, but it was a wake-up call for him.

He was a member of the Xonaris race. Xonaris had been the strongest race of the Sacred Dimension for numerous years, even though they had been isolated from the world due to the Void Beasts.

To defeat a Void beast was an unattainable task for any inhabitant of the Sacred Dimension, and others could only strive for that second position. Sirish wanted himself to be the most powerful being below the Void Beast. To do that, he needed to match up with other Xonaris members and not struggle to win against a Black-Dotted Fossa.

”Senior, please complete the purchase,” Sirish requested, passing the two beast cards to Aakesh.

Aakesh took the card, and the sale details appeared in his mind after a glance at the cards.

”You need to pay One hundred thousand ultimate…. and ten lesser Sacred stones,” Aakesh expressionlessly informed Sirish.

Aakesh didnʼt stop but introduced the three store cards to Sirish after that. Sirish couldnʼt help but become excited upon learning about the effects of the Ultimate Store Card.

Coming out of the isolation every day for the store was an impossible task, but the teleportation ability of the store card made it extremely easy for him.

Even though he was a Sacred King level cultivator, if any strong member from any of the overlord races saw him, Sirish would be in extreme danger. Even though countless years had passed since the Void Beast punished the Xonaris race to live in isolation for eternity, the fear the leader of the Xonaris had generated at that time in the hearts of other overlord races due to his Dimension conquering ambition was still alive in their hearts.

The last time a Xonaris member was seen outside of isolation by any other race, the member did not end up well.

At the same time, Sirish saw hope that the isolation would end for other members of his race. If other members had the Ultimate Store Card, they could teleport directly to the store and similarly leave.

Sirish asked Aakesh for the same and was left disappointed since the store cards could only be brought inside the store, and no one else could buy them for someone else.

The thought of the Void Beast never appeared in Sirishʼs mind since he believed the store owner to be a supreme figure and didnʼt believe for a moment that the Void Beast would dare to trespass inside the store for Sacred Monarch and Sacred Creator Xonaris members.

Since nothing could be done to solve the issue at that moment, Sirish decided to forget about it and focus on what was ahead of him.

Sirish then bought an Ultimate Store Card for himself, and after he had completed the blood bonding, he paid for the two beasts.

Sirish was only a Sacred King, but his wealth was higher than that of an ordinary Sacred Monarch. Even though the Xonaris race lived alone, they controlled multiple ultimate mines, which gave them a steady supply of ultimate Sacred stones.

After the purchase of the beast was done, Sirish no longer acted as pridefully as earlier and asked about skills and training areas.

He couldnʼt accept himself struggling to that extent to win against the Black-Dotted Fossa. He decided to seek the help of the training area to solve that. Skill was only secondary since his race already had numerous powerful skills related to the elements of darkness and death for different types.

Even though the skills were his secondary interest, he didnʼt underestimate them like he did with the Black-Dotted Fossa. The battle with the beast showed him that he could get a few more skills.

The Xonaris race didnʼt distinguish between its members. Every single member was allowed to exchange for every skill known to the race. The only criterion for that was Value Points.

Every member of the rave was assigned value points monthly, depending on their cultivation. There were also different types of tasks available to increase the points.

Even Sirish, who received the best treatment from the race, wasnʼt eligible to break that rule. He only got a higher number of value points than others due to his pure bloodline, as bonus points.

The value points he had at that time werenʼt enough to get the best skills since those would consume thousands of yearsʼ worth of value points, while he had only been there for around a century.

Since he was still far from that level, he decided to get skills from the store. After the beast, Siris was excited to know what kinds of skills he would buy from the store.
