The First Store System

Chapter 881: The Experience of the Training Area!

Garos didnʼt even see how he died, as not long after the battle began, he found himself back in the selection area with the same screen in front of him.

Garos would have freaked out in fright and shock if not for the calming effect in the Gods & Demons level training area.

All the overconfidence Garos had seemed to vanish at that moment, as he didnʼt dare look toward the higher-level races in the Sacred dimension.

ʼI am fine with defeating opponents of my own race,ʼ Garos thought as he chose Vurrons as his next opponent.

Even though there were five sub-groups in the Vurron race, there wasnʼt much difference between their genealogy and talent. The only thing that distinguished them was the pattern between their eyebrows.

But still, the system gave him the choice of choosing the selected sub-group for him to battle against.

Garosʼ mouth turned wide open in surprise after seeing the list in front of him. But soon, the calming effect acted, and Garosʼ face and mind turned calm.

In front of him was a screen containing more than ten subgroups of Vurron. There were some subgroups that had gone extinct in the past due to them not being able to catch up or due to the infighting between the Vurrons. But there were some subgroups that even Garos didnʼt know about.

Garos remembered their names and decided to check on them after leaving the store.

As for his opponent, Garos chose Thorrons since he himself was one.

The next moment, a new window asking him to choose the environment for the battle appeared in front of him.

Aakesh decided to go with the open expanse as it was the least complicated environment.

The next moment, the surroundings in front of Garos changed like a blur, and soon after, he found himself back in the unending expanse.

Soon after, his opponent for this round also appeared a few meters away from him. Garos couldnʼt help but marvel at the appearance of the opponent since it was the exact copy of him. It was as if Garos was looking at himself in a mirror.

Ding!

Soon the bell rang, announcing the start of the battle.

Garos didnʼt want to die like the last time, so he got ready to attack, but suddenly a cracking sound rang in his ears. Before he could check its origin, he found the world around him darkening, and soon after, he found himself back in the selection area.

ʼI will-ʼ

ʼEh! What happened?ʼ Garos wondered in surprise. Just moments ago, he was thinking of fighting back, and now he was here.

”Damn it! I died again,” Garos cursed. At first, his sentence was filled with frustration, but by the end, it had become monotonous, as if nothing could influence Garos.

Time flew by, and around an hour passed inside the training area.

The last hour felt like an eternity to Garos since he even forgot the count of how many times he had died. Garos knew that if not for the calming effect on him, his mind would have broken itself, turning him into a crazy person in reality.

”> It was not like Garos didnʼt improve in the past hour. When Garos came here, he couldnʼt even catch the movements of his opponent and died on the first strike.

Dying in the first strike was still happening, but now at least Garos could catch the movement of his opponent and didnʼt die without even knowing how.

If Garos were to talk of this accomplishment outside to those who didnʼt know about the training area, he would become a laughing stock since he was still dying at the first strike. But after dying so many times, Garos felt proud of being at least able to see how he got butchered.

Garos found himself back in the familiar selection area after dying once again in an instant strike.

He didnʼt waste any time and chose Thorron as his opponent, and as for the environment, it was random.

No matter what environment Garos chose, the result was always the same, instant kill.

”I will survive the first strike,” Garos vowed as another battle began.

Garos brought his spear to his chest, moving it whenever he wanted.

Garos could see the opponent coming at him, he got ready and attempted to push the spear forward.

The next moment, a familiar yet heartbreaking scene occurred. The opponent pushed the spear forward like an arrow.

Garosʼ spear seemed to be made of paper as the opponentʼs weapon passed through it, destroying it from the inside, and soon it was upon to pierce through Garosʼ heart.

ʼI can defend it,ʼ Garos screamed in his heart as he tried to move away from the incoming spear.

The next moment, Garos found himself back in the selection area. Garosʼ face was calm as ever since he had stopped getting frustrated over his death after dying thousands of times.

More time flew by, and hours passed in the blink of an eye.

Time inside the Gods & Demons level training area flew ten times as fast as it did in reality, so Garos still had around three hours left with him in this training.

Clang!

A clashing sound rang on the battlefield. It was like a piece of heavenly music in Garosʼ ears as he finally succeeded in deflecting the first strike from the opponent.

The excitement didnʼt last long as the opponent, without wasting any time, released another attack even quicker than before, and the result was Garos returning to the selection area.

Soon another battle began after Garos made his choice. This time, instead of defending, Garos attacked, ignoring the spearhead approaching him at a rapid speed.

The opponent seemed unfazed by the approaching spear as he casually lowered the tip of his spear.

The bottom of the opponentʼs spear shaft collided with Garosʼ spear, while the opponentʼs spearhead cut Garos in two, starting from slightly below his chest.

It wasnʼt an instant death like earlier since his head and heart were both intact, but Garos seemed to hate this result more than his death.

After deflecting Garosʼ spear, the opponent charged at him, and his spear pierced through his head, ending his misery.
