Just Came Into Wealth, Now Renting with Three Flight Attendants

174: Inside the ship’s cabin, a firefight has broken out?At this moment, the others on the deck also felt the vibration.

For a moment, there was a look of panic on their faces.

At this time, the ship had just left the estuary and entered the open ocean.

”Damn, did you guys feel that vibration just now?”

”I felt it. It seemed to come from the bottom of the ship.”

”Could it be an underwater earthquake?” someone said in a panic.

”Ah? An earthquake? Mommy, I want to go home!”

”Did you ever study geography? This isn’t even in a seismic zone!”

”Could we have hit an iceberg?” someone recalled a certain big ship movie they had watched and couldn’t help but put themselves in that situation.

”That’s even less likely. We just left port, where would an iceberg come from?”

”But what on earth is going on? It’s making everyone so anxious.”

Most of the people appearing on the deck to listen to music were either wealthy or noble, and naturally, they cherished their lives immensely.

”Everyone, please be quiet. According to the assessment by our engineering and technical staff, the readings on all instruments and equipment are normal. There is no problem! Please rest assured!”

The cruise ship’s general manager, Shen Aoshuang, came out at this moment to soothe everyone’s emotions.

”Rest assured? Then what exactly is going on below in the cabin?”

”There are thousands of people on this ship, and we are all people of status; you cannot hide anything from us.”

”If this leads to a major accident, your ship will be permanently grounded!”

”Everyone, please rest assured. We have already dispatched technical personnel to conduct a comprehensive check!” Shen Aoshuang explained. ”If there really is a problem, we will take measures!”

The voices in the crowd quieted down a little. The emotional reaction was not as intense as before.

Presumably, a cruise ship this large had encountered all sorts of things; this was nothing major.

”You few go back to the cabin first and wait for news in your room.”

Zhang Yu signaled for Sasha, Pan Yuyao, and Grace to return first.

He decided to go down to the bottom of the ship to take a look.

”General Manager Zhang.”

Shen Aoshuang glanced at the others and then walked to his side.

She lowered her voice and said: ”I have already sent people to check. I will report to you the moment there is a result.”

”Good.” Zhang Yu nodded, then asked: ”Mobilize all the security forces on the ship.”

”Yes!”

Shen Aoshuang executed General Manager Zhang’s orders unconditionally.

”Alright, you go check the other cabins first. I’ll go down and take a look,” Zhang Yu instructed.

Seeing that Zhang Yu insisted on going down, Shen Aoshuang said with some concern: ”General Manager Zhang, why don’t I accompany you down? You haven’t been down there before and aren’t familiar with the situation.”

”No need. Just ensure the safety of the guests on the ship.”

Zhang Yu shook his head and then walked downwards.

Below were all sorts of messy equipment rooms and storage rooms.

There was no one there.

Suddenly, a few sounds of steel plates being struck rang out ahead.

”Not good, it’s a firearm!” As soon as Zhang Yu heard the sound, he quickly realized something was wrong.

This sound was the distinct noise of bullets hitting steel plates.

A firefight had broken out at the bottom of the cabin. Between whom?

And how did they manage to bring weapons on board?

It was outrageous; how did three layers of security checks fail to detect them?

He recalled Su Mei, who had boarded midway.

Since meeting her when she first boarded, he hadn’t seen her shadow for the better part of the day.

She had boarded the ship to carry out official duties.

Could it be that she had discovered those wanted criminals at the bottom of the cabin and they had engaged in a firefight?

Zhang Yu immediately realized the severity of the situation.

Looking at the intricate layout before him, a floor plan of the bottom cabin suddenly appeared in his mind.

The division of every functional room was crystal clear.

With the help of the system, he also possessed the ability of photographic memory.

Just by scanning it a few times, he had memorized the entire layout of the bottom cabin.

”Bang!” At this moment, another metallic clanking sound came from the side, to his front left.

At the same time, footsteps stepping on the iron plates of the cabin transmitted over with a crisp ”thud, thud, thud” sound.

His ears quickly determined: this person’s weight was about 75 kilograms, and their height was roughly 180 centimeters.

Based on the clinking of metal attachments, they likely had weapons on them.

They were at the corner to his front left, less than ten meters away.

In other words, this person was about to successfully escape from the bottom of the cabin.

It seemed they had also figured out the layout of the various cabins in advance.

”Good, then I’ll just lie in wait for them!” Zhang Yu’s lips curled up.
