Beneath the Red Dragon

So now, these Power of Faith that many beings and higher existences crave are, in the eyes of the Ancestral Red Dragon, merely one of the backup plans, used as tools for certain experiments and explorations.

Even though these powers are also among Karon’s powers, they cannot shackle Karon’s direction and purpose.

Adult Silver Dragon Fluo does not understand the Ancestral Red Dragon’s thoughts, but he knows how much a nation like this can help a creature attempting to cross into the Divine Domain.

From the perspective of the adult Silver Dragon, whether viewed from the Imperial ruler’s will or from an individual’s independent upward climb, it is quite necessary for Karon Gogomola to establish this empire, combining religion and governance.

The Imperial will needs to maintain absolute authority and unity, thus cannot allow spiritual leaders and political leaders to exist separately.

However, even Adult Silver Dragon Fluo cannot imagine the astounding effects that might arise from the Ancestral Red Dragon not being confined to a specific domain.

If in a previous life, the Ancestral Red Dragon would have relied more on his own power to gain worship and faith, his principles and ideals would have been rejected and detested.

But here, the Ancestral Red Dragon is more revered and believed in, due to his own ideals.

Those monster races and humanoid intelligent races surely admire strength, but they do not easily give away their faith.

Even weak goblins being ruled by a legendary Great Mage would only see the legendary Mage as merely a stronger being, fearing and admiring him, but never worshipping him.

Thus, the Adult Silver Dragon currently resides almost indifferently in the Power of Faith’s Divine Kingdom, existing within the Material World of the Future God.

Within the entire domain of the Golden Empire, not to mention this Adult Silver Dragon Fluo, even an Ancient Silver Dragon arriving here cannot avoid the Ancestral Red Dragon’s spirit influence interference, even if it’s merely Karon Gogomola’s passive influence.

”No matter how much I see, this place is destined not to be my abode,” the Adult Silver Dragon Fluo slowly exhaled a chilling breath, like the chilly air of early winter mornings.

”Those old creatures who rest on their laurels only dare to cling to their power among the Metal Dragons and Good Dragons, but do not dare to be like the Gogomola Dragon Group; they hinder both the development and future of Metal Dragons, as well as the old order of civilization.”

”Who knows how far our bottom-up changes will go? Will we achieve results like Emperor Gogomola?”

The Adult Silver Dragon slowly turned his body, looking at the clouds floating and surrounding the mountain, somewhat lost in thought.

No matter how tall the peak, it will not always be shrouded in clouds. Yet atop the Holy Mountain of the Dragon Group’s nest, clouds perpetually linger.

Because of a Juvenile Dragon who has entered the sleep phase—the Floating Cloud Dragon.

This race excels at constructing cities with clouds, it is their inherent talent and also their Magic Power.

The young Floating Cloud Dragon, sheltered by the Dragon Emperor, has started to consider the Golden Empire as its abode and nest, thus day and night, summoned morning mist and evening twilight clouds, establishing the earliest cloud wall around the mountain peak of the Dragon Group.

Only when the sun rises high and shines brightest, when the Floating Cloud Dragon juvenile exposes itself to the sun, will these cloud walls open some gaps, allowing beings below the mountain to glimpse the palace atop the peak through layers of clouds, and occasionally see the giant figure walking among them.

This scene, to mortals, is certainly miraculous, but to the adult Silver Dragon, it can only be considered a beautiful landscape.

However, the significance contained within causes the adult Silver Dragon to feel content.

This Floating Cloud Dragon, who wandered into the plane of Aikania, willingly establishes its nest beside those far mightier beings who could tear it apart at any time.

Those Five-Color Dragons deeply affected and manipulated by chaotic blood certainly have the idea of shirking responsibility, yet still trust enough to build nests and lay eggs around the Golden Empire, then leave their offspring to be nurtured and raised by the Empire, a trust previously nonexistent.

And trust is the most crucial bond for Giant Dragons to rebuild civilization, allowing civilization to rise.

The Adult Silver Dragon lifted his sturdy forelimbs, intending to descend the mountain peak, but then turned to look at that quiet castle.

He could imagine the Ancestral Red Dragon perhaps sitting at his throne at this moment, behind towering pillars carved with bas-reliefs of Dragon groups and subjugated clans, strong Storm Giants hidden in the shadows and light, guarding this Ancestral Red Dragon.

The Adult Silver Dragon slowly bowed his head to the Giant Dragon King’s Castle, despite no one witnessing, before turning and stepping away.

In the civil society of the Golden Empire, many humans, elves, and humanoid intelligent races regard the Ancestral Red Dragon as the mortal god of faith, the surname Gogomola to them not only symbolizes their ruling Emperor but also a Divine Spirit.

Thus they begin to call the Divine Gogomola a god-like Emperor, or even a God Emperor.

Yet the adult Silver Dragon Fluo, in places unsighted, willingly bows only for another title—the Dragon Emperor.

In the vast and quiet Giant Dragon King’s Castle, Storm Giants are faithfully executing their promises, fulfilling their duties.

Ever since the Ancestral Red Dragon left this Imperial Palace, these Storm Giants have never left the mountain peak, even if this duty is a shackle and constraint for them.
