Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 358: Chapter 138: Bag Chui’s Hammer (Part 4)

And these loyal warriors of the giant dragons, under the cover of the archer corps on the city walls, did not suffer large-scale casualties, only some unlucky warriors were blown to death by heavy cannons on the orc flagship.

But they also consumed a lot of physical strength. The heavy armor is a solid defense, but also a heavy burden.

And the Red Dragon, trapped far away in the encirclement, has already drifted a bit far from the main battlefield. Although the Blue Dragon Akzhi feels that the Young Red Dragon Kedelos’ proactive fighting greatly enhances the combat power of the territory, he does not want to expend too many warriors for the Young Red Dragon.

Moreover, the uncontrollable and impulsive nature of the Young Red Dragon makes this Blue Dragon a bit angry. Nonetheless, he is still willing to make some attempts, so the Blue Dragon Akzhi roared loudly.

The roar of the giant dragon is lofty and sonorous, continuous and full of the unique voice color and information transmission of the giant dragon, so much so that even dragons dozens of miles away can easily catch the information their kind wants to convey.

The clouds in the sky over the battlefield suddenly seemed to disperse, being blown into a diffuse mist by the whistling gale. These mists, in the roaring wind, did not get blown away, but instead became thicker and more substantial.

Amidst the mist, the colossal figures of two giant dragons loomed, one with scales the color of red copper, and the other with scales as bronze as bronze.

They are the two Metal Dragons that infiltrated the distant seas, preparing to destroy the orc fleet after the Beastman Army lands, Bronze Dragon Alina and Red Copper Dragon Alfred.

The two young giant dragons had already awakened their magical abilities. Under their propulsion, the mist gradually descended, covering the battlefield where the Red Dragon Kedelos was located.

Bronze Dragon Alina drove the wind to surge, and the cloud mist skill released in the madly surging magic power was thick and coagulated, blocking much of the orcs’ vision.

Red Copper Dragon Alfred bared teeth and waggled tail, casting magic under the cover of the mist.

The innate ability from the Red Copper Dragon enables him to turn the ground under orcs into soft mud, then, with the assistance of the Oily Skill spell, converting the soft mud into a slippery, soft swamp.

To protect the fully spellcasting Bronze Dragon Alina, Red Copper Dragon Alfred also preemptively cast the Secondary Illusion spell, creating two illusory images of giant dragons to influence and mislead the orcs’ senses.

As the mist thickened, the orcs around the Red Dragon battlefield gradually lost their target. They began cautiously trying to escape the range of this cloud mist to avoid being caught up in the battle between the two formidable creatures.

And the Young Red Dragon Kedelos and the formidable Beastman Warrior Cole also sensed the presence of the two giant dragons approaching from the sky.

At this moment, the Young Red Dragon Kedelos was oozing with dragon blood all over, many arrows were embedded in the Red Dragon’s skin, and the scales on the waist, abdomen, and back were shattered. The innumerable holes attest to how terrifying the injury inflicted on this Red Dragon was.

Most importantly, the Legendary Heavy Hammer in the hands of the Beastman Warrior Cole was a weapon specifically restraining opponents with solid surface defense, and such surface bodily damages were far less severe than the impact injuries to the internal organs of the Young Red Dragon.

Kedelos’s viscera had already been repeatedly blasted and injured, and some organs were forcibly ruptured by the Beastman Warriors. Even the toughest dragon bones had some fractures blasted open, and scorching dragon blood flowed from his mouth, nose, and eyes, looking miserable to the extreme.

If it weren’t for the strong life force of the giant dragon and the frantic counterattacks of the Red Dragon, this Young Red Dragon would have already perished under this Legendary Warhammer.

But now, it was just the struggle before dying. And although the armor of the opposing Beastman Warrior was slightly damaged, the knife-like traces proved that the dragon’s claws were also unresolvable, but ultimately, it was intact.

Noticing the auras of the two giant dragons, the Beastman Warrior Cole finally ceased his composed and calm demeanor, as he began to unleash the full force of the Legendary Heavy Hammer towards the Young Red Dragon that was on the brink yet refused to fall.

He aimed to slay the Red Dragon before the two giant dragons landed, or otherwise, facing the siege of three dragons, he might well be leaving his life here.

”Haha, you can’t kill me, the giant dragon won’t die at the hands of you filth,” the Young Red Dragon roared, blood dripping between his fangs.

His forelimbs were already broken, the bones connecting the wing membranes bent and shattered, and his body was dotted with countless holes and wounds.

Yet he still held his head high. He might yield to the dragon group of his kind, but he would never bow to the Beastman, even if it meant death.

Thus, his chest and abdomen glowed, firelines flashed, and dragon fire transformed into an intensely condensed pillar of fire, spewing towards the Beastman Warrior with scalding heat.

”Dragon, die!” the body of the Beastman Warrior swelled again, blood vessels erupted within his eyes, the muscles of his bulging arms strained his armor, causing it to bulge slightly, and his entire armor glowed with a dark, somber light. The heavy hammer in his hand was imbued with a vortex-like darkness, striking towards the chest and abdomen of the Young Red Dragon.

Five steps away within the dense mist, one couldn’t see a shadow, but suddenly, it was illuminated by the brilliant radiance as the Bronze Dragon Alina thrust her head from the mist, spewing a massive branching lightning, striking towards the head of the Beastman Warrior, as if from the heavens, a thunderbolt.

At this moment, the Beastman Warrior chose to swing the warhammer upwards, gathering all the body’s strength, the dense black light permeated his body, welcoming the full-powered lightning breath of the Bronze Dragon.

Bang!

The thick black light on the warhammer was shattered by the massive lightning, dispersing in large masses, leaving only a thin layer. And behind him, surged the Red Dragon’s dragon fire, forcing him to withdraw from this thick mist.

”Heh heh,” the Young Red Dragon Kedelos panted heavily, he was approaching, exhausted, and he hadn’t expected the dragons within the Dragon Group to come save him. He knew clearly, he wasn’t recognized by these giant dragons.

But surprises happen unexpectedly, Kedelos was greeted with an unexpected delight.

Bronze Dragon Alina retracted into the mist, continuing to maintain the cloud mist, while Red Copper Dragon Alfred poked his head from the mist, dissatisfied, and said: ”Hurry up and leave, Kedelos, the orcs’ giant crossbows are almost ready, if you don’t retreat now, you won’t escape.”

The Young Red Dragon Kedelos revealed a smile. As his strength waned, his consciousness became clearer than ever, and he laughed: ”I can no longer leave, even my wings have been smashed. But I really appreciate your rescue, I haven’t lost the pride of a dragon, I will die standing on this battlefield!”

Red Copper Dragon Alfred, hearing these words, became incredibly angry, with an irritable temperament. The Red Copper Dragon spread its wings and kicked the Young Red Dragon in the butt, causing him to stagger.

”What stupid things are you saying? But this is quite in line with the character of you Red Dragons. Kedelos, you still have legs, hurry up and crawl, don’t waste Alina and my help!”
