A God Killed Me By Accident, But I Reincarnated As The 4th Son Of The Marquis

”Quickly! Bring all of the medicine!”

”Cast healing magic onto his fingers!”

”No good, they’re broken to the extreme.” The infirmary worked double time as they tried to heal Draezar. However, the damage that he received was no better than normal.

”Ahh!” ”Son!” Sarthos looked at his son, who was awake. However, he started to scream, ”Get away! Stay away from me, you monster!” His body flayed on the bed as he cried. The doctors quickly held him down, ”Sedate him! He’ll break even more bones.”

Sarthos stood there as he watched. His son was completely broken. Fear was etched into his eyes. He walked out of the room. The doctors said nothing as they understood his feeling of dread of his son being tarnished like this. However, it was anything but that.

A loud slam resounded the entire hallway as Sarthos’s eyes turned maniac.

...

“Why are you so happy about this?” Tharaziel’s eyes locked on Keith, who was just playing around with Eri. The man picked the child up and twirled her around the air.

“Hmm? Why wouldn’t I be happy?” Keith and Eri both tilted their heads. Their eyes said it all. What was wrong with this prince?

A vein bulged as Tharaziel retorted, ”I’m talking about the tournament! How could you be fine with this?!” It had been two days since the tournament ended. However, there were still ripples throughout the kingdom.

”Oh, I don’t care about the thing all too much.” Winning the tournament was an ends to a mean.

“My real goal was just to stop the marriage between Scarlet and Draezar. That was the only reason why I entered.” Keith laughed, ”It didn’t matter whether or not I won.” As long as she didn’t get married, it was a win for him.

“...” Valgros touched Tharaziel’s shoulder and shook his head. There was no need to say anything about it; Keith was a brick wall. He won’t listen. Tharaziel grumbled, ”But what is my father thinking?” This was one issue, but there was an important one than this. Alastair did not accept the match’s outcome. No one, not even Elyndra, expected him to speak up.

“Who knows, he might be trying something new?” Keith had no way of assuming what this king thought of.

“Keith, can I speak with you for a moment.” Scarlet walked over to him and asked him. Keith nodded as he followed her to the garden. Keith asked, “So what do you want to talk-” Suddenly, Scarlet hugged Keith before he had the chance to finish.

His eyes widened but slowly turned mellow as he stroked her head, ”There’s nothing to worry about. Don’t be scared.” Anxiousness. Scarlet’s body shook as she held him in her arms. Slowly, this fear died down as she let go.

“What’s the matter?” From how Scarlet acted before, it seemed there was something wrong with him winning the tournament.

“I had a talk with Draezar before the quarter-finals.”

Keith’s eyes widened as he held her shoulders, “Did he do anything to you?” Knowing that bastard, doing something to Scarlet was likely.

“No, he didn’t. I would have torched him if he did.” Scarlet was itching to burn him whenever she could. However, she chose not to do so. That was when she explained, “No, he said something that I need to tell you. He said that he had a cure for Selk.”

“What?!” Keith’s eyes widened.

“If I had willing give up myself, I could’ve saved Selk.” Scarlet’s eyes trembled.

“Don’t say that.” Keith shook his head, “Do you think Selk will be happy about you giving up your life?” If Selk had heard of this, then she would probably have been mourning and regretting it.

“But it’s for Selk, I can do it.”

“Relax, I’m here as well?” Keith grinned, “If I can’t do it, then I doubt they would have a cure as well.”

“...” Scarlet smiled as she held onto his waist.

“And that’s how he got the girl.” Valgros and Tharaziel were watching from the bushes as they saw the magic happening between the two. But Tharaziel was about to lose it, “Damn bastard with his smooth words.”

“Now, now, you can’t bother them.”

”Fine!” Tharaziel snorted, but then he composed himself. They listened in on their conversation. Do you really have a way to solve this?
