A God Killed Me By Accident, But I Reincarnated As The 4th Son Of The Marquis

While the two talked, Scarlet sat in Selk’s room. She slowly walked over to her side and stared at her emotionless face. Her heart slowly sank. She remembered the words that were said by Draezar.

“I have a cure that will save that maid of yours.” One sentence. That was more than enough to cause every fiber in Scarlet’s body to freeze.

“...” What should I do? Scarlet held her head as she was uncertain. That was when the door was slightly opened, ”Big sister?”

“Ahh, Eri.” Scarlet quickly wiped her tears away as she returned with a smile, ”Why did you come here? Where are the others?” The only one by the door was the child.

”...” The little one didn’t respond but quickly waddled over and gave her a hug.

“Eri?” Time froze for Scarlet as she didn’t expect the little fox to give her a hug.

“Hug.” Eri hugged her tighter as she snuggled into her body.

”...Thank you.” What she needed was some comfort. Tears slowly trickled down as she continued to hug the child tightly.

The next day, it was the second match of the semi-finals. It was between the masked fellow and Draezar. Keith and Valgros sat in the box to watch all of this unfold. Scarlet was with them there.

The two slowly stood forward.

The fight between the two started. Hectic was a mundane way to describe it; Draezar swung his arms from the get-go. However, the cloaked man was composed as he dodged all of the blows. Quick. It seemed the masked, cloaked fellow had been holding back against the other fights. He was easily dodging the flaming fists. Seeing his wide swings, the cloaked man quickly struck with Draezar’s arms up.

“...Was that supposed to hurt?” Draezar used magic to block it. The blow didn’t do anything to him. Sarthos watched from the stands. That was not going to defeat his son. Although Draezar was flamboyant and carefree, he had inherited strength. A genius. His son had the ability to be arrogant.

Draezar continued forward. That was when he smashed his fist into the cloaked man’s mask.

“Tharaziel?!” Scarlet’s eyes widened as she stared at her brother standing on stage.

“...Oh, that makes a lot of sense now.” Keith nodded. No wonder his fire magic was so familiar.

“My, if it isn’t the prince? To think you would be fighting on this stage as well.” Draezar was grinning, undisturbed by this sudden reveal.

“I’m only here for one thing!” Tharaziel’s eyes narrowed, “I will not allow you to marry my sister!” Disgust. Just the thought of him being married to his sister was something he wasn’t going to take. That was why he entered the tournament. He hid his identity as he was not going to allow anything to happen to his sister.

“Oh, but we’re destined to be together whether you like it or not.”

“No, that won’t ever happen! I’m going to stop it.” Tharaziel quickly fired off his magic. He wasn’t going to allow him to win at all.

“Now, you just made me mad.” Draezar’s eyes were bloodshot. That wound on his body was definitely unexpected. And he started to fight and beat up Tharaziel,

“...Lady Elyndra, go tell them to stop this fight right now.”

“...”

“He’s going to kill him.” Valgros didn’t hesitate as he said this. The two quickly stood up and were prepared to stop it. But that was when Tharaziel wiped the blood off his face, “Do you think you could stop me?”

“Your funeral,” Draezar started to beat him left and right. No semblance of rhyme or reason. He was on a warpath that caused the others to do so. Tharaziel was on the ground, and Draezar didn’t hesitate to step on his head. “You really don’t understand your place.”

“Grhhh!” But Tharaziel bit the man’s legs. No matter what. No matter what. It didn’t matter if there was humiliation or anything. He was going to win for his sisters. Draezar scoffed as he kicked him off the stage. But that was when he was caught in someone’s hand. It was Keith.

”...” Are you alright? That was what he wanted to say? But the words didn’t come out of his mouth. He should know what he was feeling right now.

“Hey.” Tharaziel coughed up blood, “You deal with him now.”

“Dear!” Elyndra quickly came with the medics, and they took him away. Scarlet followed after him, leaving Keith and Valgros there. Both eyes were locked on Draezar, who gazed back with a cocky smile.

”What? I have to show my little brother his place.”

”He’s not your brother.” Because I’m going to stop this. Keith’s eyes looked even more resolute. Valgros understood he was in his game mode.
