Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 467: Chapter 465: You Were Having a Lot of Fun Just Now, Weren’t You?

Although she roughly understood what was going on, Hermione hesitated and stood there without entering the box.

Instead, Conna was the first to step in.

”I won’t be a burden to you,” she said with a smile, ”Besides, I’m quite curious about what’s inside this box of yours.”

”Don’t wander off, or you might get lost,” Kael reminded, ”Also, no matter what you see, don’t be afraid. I assure you, as long as you stay in the room below, you’re safe.”

Conna gave Kael a suspicious glance, her intuition telling her that there was definitely something extraordinary inside this box.

However, time was pressing, and she didn’t ask further.

”Wait for me,” Cho followed from behind.

Then Fred and George exchanged a glance and, despite Ginny’s protests, jointly shoved her into the box as well.

Kael looked at Harry and Hermione.

”I can help!” Harry quickly said.

”No, the one who should hide the most is you,” Kael said, ”Don’t forget, you were almost killed just now... and there are too many people around here. If it happens again, I can’t guarantee I can spot it in time.”

”Kael’s right,” Hermione suddenly sighed, ”They want to kill you, and they almost succeeded just now...”

”But!” Harry frowned and wanted to say more.

But at this moment, Hermione was already pulling him towards the box.

With what happened just now, Hermione also realized that they couldn’t help at all. If it weren’t for Kael spotting something wrong in time, Harry might have already been dead by now.

Hermione couldn’t imagine what would happen if such an event occurred again, and whether Harry would still be so lucky.

”Let’s go, we have to keep an eye on Ron,” she said, ”We’re safest hiding inside... after all, no one would pay attention to an old box, right?”

Harry thought of the close call earlier, hesitated for a moment, but followed her in after all.

Beside them, Kael’s eye twitched.

What do they mean by this?

Although his box had been used for three years and seemed a bit worn-out, he kept it well protected, without even a major scratch. How could it be considered an ”old box”?

And more importantly, this kind of box shouldn’t be conspicuous, the older it looks, the better.

”Tactless Gryffindors...” Kael muttered quietly.

Now only three people were left.

Fred and George shook their heads firmly when Kael looked over, indicating that under no circumstances would they go inside.

”Alright then,” Kael put away the box, ”Let’s go check out the camp.”

”Alright!” Fred and George nodded immediately, turning to leave, ”Let’s find the backpack first, the Dungbomb is inside it...”

Behind them, Kael raised his wand and gave Cedric a look.

Cedric understood almost instantly...

”Stupefy!”

”Petrificus Totalus!”

No surprise, Fred and George fell to the ground.

Kael reopened the box and stuffed the unconscious George head-first into it.

”I have a feeling...” Cedric picked up the petrified Fred as well, ”For at least half a year, peace is out of the question.”

”Yes,” Kael shrugged, ”But never mind, that’s a problem for future us... You go in first, make sure to watch over them, there are some pretty dangerous things inside!”

”Okay,” Cedric said as he poked his head out of the box, ”You’re not thinking of going out there, are you... that’s too dangerous, don’t forget they even used Unforgivable Curses!”

”Don’t worry, I have allies,” Kael said, ”...it’s hard to explain now, you’ll find out soon enough why.”

Suddenly, there was a rustling sound from the woods.

”Who’s there!”

Almost instinctively, Kael raised his wand and set up a transparent shield in front of him.

Two witches hurried past on the side.

Kael did not relax his vigilance until they left, then lowered his wand.

Afterward, he grabbed the box beside him and ran towards the camp.

By now, the camp was in complete chaos, filled with sounds of people crying and screaming. Various colored charms were mixed together, sounding like fireworks going off continuously.

Kael didn’t stop, heading directly to where the crowd was thickest.

He was looking for Mr. Weasley, which wasn’t as difficult as it seemed. Even amidst such a chaotic battlefield, the Weasleys’ distinctive red hair was exceptionally conspicuous.

It didn’t take long before Kael found him near the center of the camp. Mr. Weasley, Bill, and Charlie were forming a circle, protecting a group of boys and girls in pajamas behind them.

In front of them was a group of hooded wizards, about seven or eight in total.

However, those people were not in a hurry to attack Mr. Weasley, but rather toyed with them like a cat playing with a mouse.

Various spells were leisurely aimed at the frightened kids behind, and Mr. Weasley’s struggling defense seemed like the most entertaining show to them, making them laugh heartily.

”Alright, let’s end it here,” a hoarse voice said, ”The Ministry of Magic’s reinforcements should be arriving soon, don’t delay the main business.”

The person next to him laughed sinisterly, ”Maxime will definitely be surprised to see so many Beauxbatons students... that foolish giant, this time I’ll make her crawl and lick my shoes!”

”Do whatever you want then!”

All the hooded figures raised their wands simultaneously.

Then, without warning, a voice came from behind them.

”Stupefy!”

At the same time, several round objects quietly rolled at their feet.

”Crucio—ah!”

A hooded wizard was just about to cast the Crucio Curse on Mr. Weasley but suddenly screamed and fell to the ground.

The searing pain from his leg made him scream desperately, as if he’d been hit by the Crucio Curse himself.

Then came a second scream... The surrounding hooded wizards fell one after another, like wheat being cut down.

Only then did they notice a round Chomping Cabbage clinging to their legs.

”Damn it, why are there Chomping Cabbages here!” someone shouted loudly.

A few of them scrambled to pull the Chomping Cabbage off their legs, but Mr. Weasley was not about to give them the chance.

”Stupefy!”

”Stupefy!”

”Bandage Binding!”

...

The situation changed in an instant, and the hooded wizards who originally had the number advantage were quickly reduced to just one.

He reacted the fastest, retreating at the first sign of trouble, barely escaping the Chomping Cabbage’s attack.

But it seemed to be of no use.

The Weasleys were glaring daggers at him, fury nearly pouring out of their eyes.

They didn’t know what happened, but it didn’t stop them from seeking a satisfying revenge.

”Hey, looks like you were having quite a bit of fun just now!” Bill grinned with his wand in hand, his expression full of glee, ”Come on then, keep going!”

”Damn it!” the man cursed as he turned to flee.

However, he hadn’t taken two steps when...

”Stupefy!”

With a thud, he followed his companions and collapsed motionless on the ground.

The wand in his hand flew out, different from the others, with a finely crafted metal snake head at the end. In the place of the snake’s eyes, two emeralds glistened in the firelight.
