Spider-Trinity: Reborn Into Marvel Universe

”Who?”

”Sir, your guest has arrived and is in the elevator,” said a voice from the door.

”Okay. Once he arrives, show him in, Laura, and thanks for letting me know.”

”Understood, boss,” she said, then left the room and closed the door behind her.

’I am still surprised she is my secretary, but what surprises me most is that she is barely 30. She is even younger than May and she is so well-preserved. I wonder if I should add her to the Harem Initiative or make her my occasional companion.

Hmm, decisions, decisions.’

He was so absorbed in his thoughts that he had not noticed Laura had entered with the special guest. Thanks to a little nudge from Susan, he snapped out of it.

”Thank you, Laura, you may leave.”

”Understood.”

”It is a pleasure to see you again, Mr. Rodriguez,” he said as he shook the Vice President’s hand.

”Likewise, Mr. Parker,” Rodriguez said as he shook his hand, then shook Susan’s, who gave a polite smile.

”Sir, as we both know, we are busy men, one more than the other, so I will get straight to the point. Come on, follow me,” he said as he left the room and headed toward the elevator.

By pressing a specific button they descended to the Underground.

”As you know, many things happened after that gang war hit New York,” he mentioned, causing the Vice President to grimace.

”When I was there, I saw the deficiencies in the equipment of the police, paramedics, firefighters, and others. That is why I took the trouble to create some things.”

He mentioned this while receiving a settlement from Rodriguez.

Since the gang war happened he had realized the deficiencies of those fields, how the police were easily injured because they did not have the necessary equipment, how people died burned alive because the firefighters could not enter certain places or arrive quickly, how the hospitals were limited due to the technology of their machines or in some cases old machines.

When they arrived, the elevator doors opened and they entered a room with only two lights on.

Approaching a wall, he lifted a lever and the place lit up, revealing a space similar to Lucius Fox’s testing rooms where Bruce tested the Acrobat.

”Please follow me,” he said as he approached a specific part.

”Ever since Tony Stark started creating weapons, we never worried that those weapons would turn against us. That is why I made countermeasures to save us.”

He took a curtain and pulled it down, revealing a black car. ”I present to you the new cars that both the police and the army will have available now, if you decide to buy them.”

When Rodriguez saw the car he was completely amazed, with its technological and robust appearance.

”These cars can withstand grenade launchers, pistol fire, shotgun fire, and sniper fire. Obviously, this car is not indestructible. It has a certain damage capacity limit. Although it looks robust, it performs wonderfully. Now let me show you the two-wheeler.”

Moving to the other side, he pulled back another curtain.

”This motorcycle is equipped to be fast and quiet. Like the car, it has a mechanism that if the armored tires are punctured, there is another one inside that replaces the broken one. On its sides, it has cargo compartments, and in this part you can store grenades, first-aid kits, or whatever you need,” he said while pointing to one of the sides of the motorcycle.

He looked at the motorcycle and thought that it was so beautiful and fast that even the Captain would kill to have one like it.

”Now let me introduce you to the equipment, uniforms, and vehicles that the police, the military, SWAT, and others will be using,” he said while pulling back a curtain revealing several mannequins. Pulling back another curtain, he showed a black bus and cars.

”The uniforms for the officers, soldiers, and others offer protection against point-blank shotgun blasts, and it will feel like simple insect bites. They are fire-resistant and grenade-resistant, but I still do not recommend taking grenades, as the impact will be extremely painful. I also designed suits for investigators, patrol officers, office workers, and others.

By the way, the bus has the same capabilities as the car. It can also serve as a mobile base with computers and other equipment.”

The designs of the suits for heavily armed police officers like SWAT or soldiers were not unlike what had already been seen, only now they offered greater protection.

Some suits were black, others were green, and the blue ones were for paramedics and other officers.

He also started showing him suits designed for firefighters and doctors, along with some medical equipment such as better microscopes and better medical machines.

Then he showed him suits for firefighters, which were orange, super heat-resistant, and had some exoskeletons. With each thing he showed him, Mr. Rodriguez became more and more surprised.

What surprised him most was the design of the new fire truck, one that had a tank that would be useful when they went to a place where they could not get water. He also mentioned that each item had an instruction manual that specified and explained each thing better.

He had not just focused on the civil protection departments.

He had also focused on the repair and construction department. He showed him new materials for houses or buildings.

These materials would ensure that if an earthquake were to occur, it would not severely affect homes.

He had done this thinking about all the damage that Superman, Hulk, Iron Man, Batman, and others caused with every fight they had. Obviously, he did not exclude himself from the equation either.

Another question would be why he gave things to the police and others if there were corrupt individuals among them.

It was simple.

Everything the Vice President would receive had countermeasures that allowed him to destroy it. Even though those suits could withstand bullets, they would not survive even his weakest blow.

He also wanted to prevent the same situation Batman had suffered in the White Knight comic, where Gordon had reproached him for not giving him devices similar to the ones he had if he truly wanted to stop crime, devices that could save the lives of hundreds of officers.

He had not planned on giving them technology similar to what he had in the Spider-Cave.

He did not want it to end up in the wrong hands, like what happened with the suit in Iron Man 2.

And he was not worried, because everything that came out of this building was controlled and secured by Cortana.

Nobody could replicate it because to do so they would need Cortana. It was another mechanism to keep people from messing with his technology.

Suck it, Hammer and Doom.

”And what did you think, sir?”

”I.... I am taking everything. I will talk to the President. This will make him very happy,” Rodriguez said with a big smile.

”Perfect. Now if you will come with me, we can talk about the price and everything else,” he said as they walked toward the elevator with Susan.

At the corresponding floor: ”Here, my beautiful colleague will talk to you about the price and answer any questions you may have. Now, if you will excuse me, I have an issue I need to attend to urgently.”

He saw Susan give him a surprised look. In response, he just gave her an apologetic smile.

He said this as he exited the elevator and headed toward another elevator to go back down. Once the doors opened, he approached his car, deactivated the alarm, and got in.

”Tell me, did you really find him?” he asked as a Cortana hologram appeared on his watch.

A few moments ago, while talking to the Vice President, Cortana had given him some of the best news through the earpiece.

”It was incredibly annoying to find, but due to a small mistake on your part, I was able to locate him. He is in a Salvage Yard in South Africa, on the African coast. Because we were looking for this man, I saw his file, and although he is a very bad person, I do not see what you want from him.”

”That is because this man is hiding more than meets the eye. Mark his location. Prepare the Web-Jet and my Red Hood suit. It is time we tested the upgrade we have been working on.”

”Understood,” she said before disappearing.

”I am coming for you,” he said quietly as he started the car toward home.
