I'm Pretending to Cultivate in Kindergarten

Chapter 151: Chapter 134: Stealing the First Kiss

After she spoke, Han Wenwen tilted her head and pulled at the collar of her top just a little, revealing a sliver of her fragrant shoulder and her swan-like neck. A seductive fragrance unique to Han Wenwen wafted over.

”Zhengran, hurry up, or else Qingqing will come out of the bathroom if we drag this out.”

Lin Zhengran wrapped his arms around Han Wenwen. Seeing her biting her lip with a shy yet highly expectant expression, he asked, ”Then I’m going to bite?”

”Mhm...”

This time, without any prelude or hesitation, he bit down on Han Wenwen’s neck. Han Wenwen’s brows furrowed involuntarily.

To date, the Little Fox had only twice clearly experienced what it felt like to have electricity course through her body. The first time was when Lin Zhengran had held her waist. The other time was right now.

The novels she read said that when a girl was intimately touched by the man she truly liked, her entire body would react. This reaction wouldn’t lie—it would be a feeling that was very hard to describe. Han Wenwen had always been curious about exactly what kind of sensation it was.

The suddenness of last night hadn’t allowed her to feel it deeply, but at this moment... the instant Lin Zhengran’s lips and teeth touched her neck, Han Wenwen trembled all over. Her slender hands gripped Lin Zhengran’s shoulders tightly. Her eyes rippled like water, and her heart seemed to stop for a few seconds. It felt as if something formless had passed right through her body, suddenly draining her of most of her strength.

Even though she was essentially an adult now, what she had read in books remained superficial. Only by experiencing it herself in real life could she truly understand that feeling.

The bathroom door opened, and Xiao Heqing walked out. She saw that Lin Zhengran was the only one sitting on the blanket by the bed, with the self-heating hot pot steaming on the table. Han Wenwen was lying on her side on the bed, her back turned to them. She was curled up, hugging the quilt, her hands tightly gripping the cover.

Xiao Heqing closed the door and asked in confusion, ”Wenwen? Why are you lying in bed? The self-heating hot pot should be ready by now.”

Han Wenwen couldn’t say a single word right now. Afraid that opening her mouth would expose her, she merely shook her head.

Lin Zhengran explained on her behalf, ”Don’t mind her. She just said she wanted to lie down for a bit. Let’s eat first.”

Xiao Heqing gave an acknowledging hum and sat beside Lin Zhengran. She looked at Han Wenwen, who was lying in bed with her back to them. ”Wenwen? Are you okay? We’ll eat first, then?”

Han Wenwen slowly nodded.

Only then did Xiao Heqing look at Lin Zhengran in confusion, whispering, ”What is she doing?”

Lin Zhengran also looked back at Han Wenwen. It was true what they said about this Little Fox—she talked a big game but was actually quite timid. Even though Han Wenwen always acted the most proactive in romantic matters, she was probably also the most sensitive and cautious about them. Even the slightest intimate contact would make her blush profusely. When she got shy, her reactions were even more intense than someone with a soft and sweet personality like He Qing.

”If you don’t know, then I definitely don’t. But she’s fine for sure. While you were in the bathroom, she was still asking about the two of us.”

Xiao Heqing knew Han Wenwen would ask. She asked shyly, ”Then what did you say?”

”I just gave a vague answer. She’ll probably interrogate you about it later.”

Xiao Heqing giggled secretly.

It was a good thing Xiao Heqing didn’t go check on her right then. Otherwise, she would have discovered that Han Wenwen’s entire face was flushed red, and the lower lip she was biting had turned slightly pale. She tentatively touched the spot on her neck where Lin Zhengran had just bitten her. She could still feel the lingering warmth of his lips, which made her heart race with unbearable excitement.

”Being bitten by Zhengran actually feels like this... It’s such a magical feeling. Next week... when Zhengran spends time with me, I have to get him back! I’ll bite him too!” the Little Fox swore to herself. ”But thinking back... it’s a good thing we didn’t do this last night. Otherwise, if Zhengran hadn’t just held my waist but kissed me first, I probably wouldn’t have been able to say a word, and we might have gone all the way.”

Another two minutes passed before Han Wenwen finally recovered. After all, they hadn’t gone any further, and Qingqing was here too. If not, she definitely would have stayed glued to Lin Zhengran’s embrace all day.

Han Wenwen got out of bed, almost sliding off the mattress onto the blanket on the floor, and exhaled a heavy, fragrant breath.

Seeing her come down, Xiao Heqing asked, ”Wenwen?”

Han Wenwen wrapped her arms around Xiao Heqing’s arm with a beaming smile, her complexion having returned to normal. ”What’s wrong?”

”Nothing, I was just wondering why you suddenly lay down in bed?”

Han Wenwen didn’t even think about it deeply and just gave a random excuse. ”No particular reason. I just suddenly felt like lying down for a bit.”

”You aren’t feeling unwell, are you?”

”No, not at all! My health is perfectly fine.”

Xiao Heqing suddenly laughed and said softly, ”I do that sometimes too. I just abruptly run to the bed and lie down.”

”Right?”

The two best friends smiled at each other.

He Qing said, ”Let’s eat, then. Everything’s heated up.”

”Mhm.”

After speaking, Han Wenwen sneaked a glance at Lin Zhengran, a faint blush creeping back onto her cheeks.

It was time to eat, and Xiao Heqing’s inner homemaker awakened once more. Seeing Lin Zhengran unwrapping his chopsticks, she took them from him. ”I’ll unwrap these for you.”

Lin Zhengran looked at the little girl in confusion. ”I can do it myself.”

Xiao Heqing didn’t speak since Wenwen was there, but her pure eyes seemed to say, ”Why do it yourself? I’m your girlfriend. I should take care of all these little things for you while you rest.”

Lin Zhengran wondered who had taught her this mindset. In the past, he genuinely hadn’t realized that He Qing possessed such strong wife-material traits.
