Re-Awakened :I Ascend as an SSS-Ranked Dragon Summoner

The class filed out of homeroom, students already discussing weekend plans. Lila breezed past Noah with an oddly bright ”Morning!” that made him do a double-take. He glanced at Kelvin, still absorbed in his tablet, fingers dancing across the screen with disturbing intensity.

”Another social experiment?” Noah asked dryly.

Kelvin’s lips quirked. ”Nothing so dramatic. Just optimizing the cafeteria queue algorithm.”

Noah decided he didn’t want to know what that meant.

The sight of Sophie’s Clexus hovering outside instantly lifted his mood. The pearlescent vehicle hummed softly, its anti-grav field creating subtle ripples in the air. Sophie herself was perched on the hood, her dark hair catching the morning light.

”There’s my favorite junior,” she called out, sliding gracefully to her feet. Before Noah could respond, she’d pulled him into a kiss that left him slightly dazed.

”Ready for operation: Make Noah Fabulous?” she asked, practically bouncing with excitement.

”I thought we were both shopping?” he laughed.

”Oh, we are. But you’re my priority project.” She tugged him toward the car. ”Have you ever even been to a proper gala?”

”Unless you count school dances—”

”I absolutely do not,” Sophie interrupted, settling into the driver’s seat as the doors whispered shut. ”But don’t worry. By the time I’m done with you, you’ll look like you were born for this.”

The Clexus merged smoothly into the skylane, joining the stream of hovering vehicles above the city. Sophie’s fingers danced across the holographic controls, setting their destination.

”So, 97’s theme,” Noah mused, watching the cityscape blur past. ”That’s what, almost 80 years ago?”

”77 years and some of the best fashion humanity ever produced,” Sophie corrected. ”Before everything went digital-only. Real fabric, real style.” She shot him a sideways glance. ”Speaking of which, what size are you?”

”Uh...”

”Never mind, we’ll get you measured properly.” She grinned. ”The look on your face right now is adorable.”

”I’m just trying to picture what people wore back then,” Noah defended himself.

”Well, you’re about to find out!” Sophie’s excitement was contagious. The Clexus descended toward a pristine shopping district, landing smoothly in front of a storefront that screamed exclusivity.

Inside, holographic displays showcased various interpretations of 1997 fashion, updated with modern materials but keeping the aesthetic intact. Sophie immediately went into what Noah could only describe as ”mission mode.”

”Try this,” she said, holding up a sleek blazer. ”And this. Oh, and definitely this!”

”How many credits are we talking about here?” Noah asked nervously, eyeing the growing pile of clothes.

Sophie waved dismissively. ”Daddy’s paying. Consider it an investment in the family’s social standing.” She winked. ”Can’t have my date looking anything less than perfect, right?”

After what felt like hours of trying on different combinations, they settled on a charcoal suit with subtle iridescent threading that shifted colors under different lights. Sophie’s choice was a flowing dress that seemed to capture the essence of both eras – classic 90s silhouette with modern smart-fabric that adjusted its fit perfectly.

”You look amazing,” Noah said softly, watching her twirl in front of the mirror.

Sophie’s smile turned mischievous. ”I know.” She stepped closer, straightening his collar. ”So do you. Though...” She reached up to mess with his hair slightly. ”There. Now you’re perfect.”

The ride to her apartment was filled with Sophie’s animated chatter about the gala – who would be there, what to expect, which faculty members to avoid. Noah found himself just watching her, struck by how naturally she moved between worlds. School, high society, politics – she made it all look effortless.

The doorman nodded respectfully as they entered her building. ”Welcome back, Miss Reign.”

”Thanks, Marcus!” Sophie called back cheerfully. In the elevator, she leaned against Noah’s shoulder. ”You’re being quiet. Nervous about the gala?”

”A little,” he admitted. ”It’s not exactly my usual scene.”

”Hey.” She turned to face him, expression suddenly serious. ”You’ll be fine. Just be yourself.” A pause, then a playful smile. ”Well, maybe yourself with slightly better posture.”

Noah couldn’t help but laugh. ”Is that what all this shopping was really about? Posture correction?”

”Among other things.” She kissed him quickly as the elevator doors opened. ”Come on, we should practice dancing. Can’t have you stepping on my toes in front of half the Eastern sector’s elite.”

”I thought you liked my dancing,” Noah protested, following her into the apartment.

”I like you,” Sophie corrected, already queuing up some music. ”Your dancing we can work on.”

After several failed attempts at what Sophie insisted was ”basic footwork,” they collapsed onto the plush couch, breathless with laughter.

”I think,” Noah gasped, ”we’ve established I’m a lost cause.”

”Never,” Sophie declared, still giggling. ”You just need more... creative motivation.” She gracefully rose and moved to the bar, returning with two glasses and a bottle of something amber. ”Speaking of creativity...”

Noah raised an eyebrow. ”Isn’t this stuff regulated?”

”Everything fun is regulated these days,” she sighed, pouring them each a measure. Her playful expression faded slightly as she settled back beside him. ”Sometimes I imagine what it would be like, you know? Just... being normal. Going shopping, having drinks, not spending every other day training to fight literal aliens.”

Noah took a thoughtful sip, letting the liquid warm his throat. ”No power rankings...”

”No combat assessments,” Sophie added.

”No wondering if your classmates are secretly plotting facility-wide chaos...”

Sophie gave him a curious look, but didn’t ask. Instead, she curled closer, resting her head on his shoulder. ”We could do this every weekend. Just... be us.”

”Instead of training to save humanity?” Noah tried to keep his tone light, but memories of his parents’ departure flickered through his mind. Their clinical explanation of why the Ark was a ”more sensible option” than being on ground zero, fighting. How they’d looked at him when they’d left– not with disappointment, but with something worse: pity.

Sophie must have sensed his mood shift. She reached for the entertainment console, bringing up a holographic menu. ”Here’s something appropriately ancient – ’You’ve Got Mail.’ Apparently it was huge in ’98.”

As the movie played, Noah found himself paying more attention to Sophie than the plot. The way she’d mouth certain lines, her small sounds of amusement at the dated technology, how she’d occasionally glance at him to see if he was enjoying it too.

When the inevitable romantic scene appeared, their eyes met. Sophie’s lips curved into that smile he was starting to know well – the one that usually preceded something either wonderful or terrifying, often both.

”You know,” she said softly, setting her glass aside, ”some things haven’t changed much since the 90s...”

The movie continued playing, forgotten, as Sophie pulled him closer, and Noah discovered that some moments were worth all the combat training in the world.

The movie faded in the background minutes later after their kissing turned into something else.

Noah groaned as Sophie rolled her hips, grinding down on him with a sensual sway. The feel of her warm wetness enveloping his throbbing cock was indescribable. Her full breasts bounced hypnotically in his face with each thrust.

”Fuck, your boobs are amazing,” Noah groaned, latching onto one rosy peak and suckling hungrily. Sophie cried out, arching her back to push more of her soft flesh into his eager mouth.

”Yes, just like that!” she panted, riding him harder, faster. ”Mmmm, you like that baby? You like sucking on my big titties while I bounce on your hard cock?”

Noah could only moan in response, his hands gripping her hips as he bucked up into her. The wet slap of skin against skin mingled with the moans and gasps spilling from their lips. The movie played on in the background, forgotten.

Sophie leaned back, changing the angle, taking him even deeper. Noah could feel every inch of her hot silk walls squeezing his shaft. ”That’s it, baby. Fuck me just like that. Harder! Faster!”

He obliged, thrusting up into her with powerful strokes that made her huge tits jiggle wildly. Sophie squealed in ecstasy, slamming herself down on him with reckless abandon. ”Oh fuck yes! Don’t stop Noah! I’m gonna cum! I’m gonna fucking cum all over your big hard cock!”

Noah could feel his own release building, his balls drawing up tight. But he gritted his teeth, determined to make Sophie come first. He reached between their sweat-slicked bodies, finding her swollen clit and rubbing it in tight circles.

”Cum for me baby,” he urged breathlessly, pounding into her harder, faster. ”Let go and cum all over me.”

With a keening wail, Sophie obeyed, her pussy clamping down on him like a vice as she came undone. Noah followed seconds later, spurting deep inside her with a hoarse shout of her name.

They collapsed together in a sweaty, sated heap, chests heaving. Sophie nuzzled into his neck with a contented sigh. ”That was incredible,” she murmured. ”You’re pretty good at this for a virgin.”

Noah just laughed, pressing a kiss to her damp forehead. ”I had a very good teacher.”

Sophie grinned, giving his spent cock a little squeeze that made him gasp. ”Mmmm, and I have a feeling I’m going to be teaching you many, many more lessons. If you’re lucky.”

Noah’s heart swelled at the promise in her words. Right here, right now, wrapped up in the warm afterglow of their passion with the soft glow of the holographic movie screen washing over them... this was happiness. This was what he wanted, what he needed.

And he was going to hold onto it with both hands.
