Child of Destiny

For the first time during the entire battle, Dragulia was finally forced to retreat a little right after facing a continuous barrage of attacks from both Poseidon and Diablo.

Even though the two were not perfectly complementary, they were still able to find a way to work together quite well.

Given their rich experience, finding a way to fit their styles with each other would not be that much of a problem.

Even though Dragulia was extremely powerful, facing two god-level players of this caliber seemed to be a bit too much for him.

However, despite this being the case, Dragulia still kept his excitement and maintained his maniacal smile. He seemed to have become a complete lunatic, the more he fought against the two.

Roar!

After a while, Dragulia had finally taken off his cloak, which seemed to be getting in the way whenever he moved.

These actions revealed his true appearance, which truly resembled someone from the Dragonkin Race.

However, compared to a true Dragonkin, which passively emitted a ferocious yet majestic presence, Dragulia was releasing an extremely eerie and gloomy aura.

The mixture of the obsidian scales covering his skin and the black miasma that he was constantly emitting gave everyone the impression that he was extremely evil.

There was also the black armor that he was wearing, which greatly complemented his dark aura, further enhancing his strong and overwhelming presence.

Roar!

Opening his mouth wide, he released an extremely powerful roar that swept through the surroundings, further making the surrounding mana stir and run wild.

This then created an environment that was impossible for regular spells to manifest and for less advanced skills to be executed.

Roar!

However, the current spell that was heading his way was highly advanced.

A swarm of massive dragons flew at him from every direction, sealing all his escape routes.

“Heh!” Dragulia smirked when he saw this, summoning a powerful flow of demonic dragon powers throughout his body, before throwing a series of punches at the incoming water dragons.

‘Demonic Dragon Art: Doomed Annihilation’

Roar!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A series of sonic waves was sent in every direction for every punch he threw. Each punch punctured a huge hole in the air and the water dragons, destroying them in the process.

Boom!

A curtain of water was created once again due to the huge number of water dragons, which were also formed by a massive amount of Water Elemental Mana.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

It was at this moment that a huge number of silhouettes appeared behind the water curtain before suddenly diving forward and charging at Dragulia from every direction.

“Same cheap tricks!” laughed Dragulia when he saw the incoming shadow clones created by Diablo.

He was about to release a draconic roar that could disrupt the surroundings and destroy the incoming shadow clones.

However, before he could even do that, Diablo had already made his next move.

“Shadow Boundary!”

Whoosh!

Right after shouting these words, darkness suddenly fell in the surroundings, creating a dark domain that engulfed everything.

Within this dark domain, every sound seemed to have been silenced, which rendered Dragulia’s signature skill useless.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

At the same time, all the shadow clones melded with the dark domain, completely erasing their presence, before continuing their charge.

They had even transformed into a series of black flashes that fused with the domain itself, making them impossible to track.

This technique was a highly advanced technique that he had created after reaching extremely high achievements in both martial manuals that he had gotten from Shin before, the ‘Shadowless Art’ and the ‘Shadow Assassination Technique’.

Adding the Ancient Shadow Powers that he had gotten from the Blessings of the Ancient Queen of the Shadows, he was able to create a unique style that was truly his own.

‘Celestial Shadow Arts: Ultimate Move – Shadowless Assassination’

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Sensing the multiple invisible attacks flying at him, Dragulia finally had a somewhat expression on his face, especially after sensing the extremely overwhelming killing intent filling the entire place.

Understanding that he might not get unscathed from this particular technique, Dragulia had decided to take it a bit more seriously.

Along with his signature manically grinning, Dragulia suddenly spread his arms wide while gathering as much demonic dragon power as he could.

Swoosh!

At the same time, a pair of massive wings suddenly sprouted from his back.

‘Harbinger of the Demonic Dragon Skill (Tier 3): Baptism of the Demonic Storm’

Roar!

Wail!

A series of eerie sounds immediately followed, which sounded like a mixture of a dragon’s roar and the wails of ghosts.

Then a violent storm suddenly appeared, creating a terrifying cyclone that swallowed everything around him and destroyed it in the process.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

He might not be able to see the shadow clones and their invisible attacks, but the storm had covered the entire area, shredding everything into pieces and destroying them in the process.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

This was also not the end since the demonic storm continued to spin, particularly the destructive wind that they carried, which was also gradually growing stronger.

Boom!

The dark domain that Diablo had summoned was also unable to withstand the violent winds of the storm, destroying it in the process.

Roar!

However, right after the dark domain was destroyed, a colossal beast made of massive amounts of Water Elemental Mana appeared behind the crumbling boundary.

It opened its massive mouth, which seemed capable of swallowing a large portion of the area, and charged straight at Dragulia.

This particular spell was much stronger than the others that he had been facing up to now, which gave him a rough guess that it must be a Pseudo Tier 4 Skill at the very least.

Understanding the gravity of the situation, Dragulia knew that he also needed to use one of his strongest skills in response to this move.

Without any hint of hesitation, he summoned an even stronger flow of Demonic Dragon Powers, which swiftly engulfed him before turning into a massive black dragon that rivaled the size of the incoming water master.

He knew that there was a possibility that Diablo might launch an ambush while he was preparing for his advanced move, so he had to use a safer skill that could also protect him in the process.

Roar!

‘Harbinger of the Demonic Dragon Skill (Pseudo Tier 4): Descent of the Great Terror’

Roar!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The two colossal beasts clashed against one another, resulting in them rolling and wrestling on the domain that Poseidon had summoned.

Roar! Roar!

Under Dragulia’s control, the upper hand was seized by the black dragon, which bit on the water beast while also digging its sharp talons into the latter’s body.

However, the water beast did not fall without putting up a fight either. It had summoned a bunch of spikes from its body, which stabbed the black dragon at different parts of its body, returning the injuries that it had suffered.

Boom! Boom!

Immediately after, the two colossi exploded and turned into a storm of mana that was violently sweeping through every direction.

Diablo used this raging storm as a cover, traversing through the violent wind and destructive mana flow filling the air, before launching yet another ambush at Dragulia.

Swoosh!

Unfortunately, Dragulia was already prepared for this, exchanging a series of blows against Diablo before swiftly disengaging from the duel to deal with the troublesome spells that Poseidon was sending at him.

Roar!

The more Dragulia fought, the crazier he became. It was as if he was gradually entering a berserk state, making the battle much more intense.

His berserk state was different from a berserk beast since he was in complete control over his mind and emotions.

His power was gradually becoming stronger, which made it more challenging for Diablo to engage in melee battle against him.

The difference in their stats seemed to be growing larger as well, particularly when it came to raw strength and overwhelming mana.

Diablo was slowly being overpowered by the latter while Poseidon was gradually losing in terms of magic prowess.

It did not take long for the two to be on the back foot, especially when Dragulia was undergoing a series of transformations throughout the battle.

It was as if he was devouring all the surrounding mana, which was gradually enhancing his overall powers and physical quantities during the battle.

The two had also realized that Dragulia was gradually adapting to their respective powers, making their unique mana gradually lose its effects against him.

At the same time, the Mana filling the air was slowly being corrupted by the demonic miasma that Dragulia was constantly releasing, which in turn increased his combat prowess.

Seeing this, Diablo finally gained an initial understanding of why the Demonic Dragon of Terror was feared even among the Demonic Churches.

“This ability-… it is oddly similar to the powers of gluttony that Beelzebub possessed, but with a unique difference in the mix,” he mumbled while wearing a grim expression on his face.

He understood that this battle would only grow against their favor if this continued. They had to find a way to break the cycle before the situation could get any worse.
