Tentacle Monster Reincarnation: I Will Protect the Heroines

Really this woman— even if Alter hadn’t appeared in the original game, wouldn’t she have collapsed in some form?

”Hey, Sacred! Atel Octo!”

Probably because the Monster Villain had completely vanished and safety was confirmed, Niekawa ran over while waving his hand.

”Both of you showed splendid champion-of-justice-ness, thank you! However, while the three of you fought desperately I feel ashamed that I couldn’t do anything. Sorry, I couldn’t help at all.”

”You did help, right? You carried Harukaze to a safe place.”

”Mu, is that all it is! That kind of thing is only natural as a human. It’s not something to be thanked for; it’s an extension of what I always do!”

At the figure laughing heartily I also relaxed the corners of my mouth.

How much the presence of someone who can say that is ”natural as a human,” someone who can say it is ”what I always do,” helps the Sacred.

How much the champions of someone’s justice are rewarded by the straightforward figures of the people they must protect.

Therefore—

”...Don’t make that kind of face.”

Toward the man who walked over slowly after Niekawa, I smiled.

The student guidance Harukaze— the steps of him who had regained consciousness were not the usual dignified ones but heavy like a death-row prisoner climbing the thirteen steps.

”...I’m sorry. I, I myself am unbearably ashamed.”

It was a voice that seemed about to disappear, a voice as if squeezed out.

I can understand that feeling too.

Even though the champions of justice appeared to save him, even though it should have ended peacefully without incident, he was swept by desire and ruined everything.

As a result, even if degraded a Monster Villain manifested, and with its ability it humiliated the Sacred— the ones who came to save him.

His strict face was twisted by terrible self-loathing, and his back was rounded as if he wanted to disappear just like this.

”What is this. Am I just a sex maniac...”

”That is—”

”I-it’s fine! Look, just having your life is a lucky find, isn’t it!”

Saber who hesitated and Knuckle who behaved brightly.

But neither voice will probably reach. Rather, the more they are considerate the more the self-loathing should inflate. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ

I won’t say I understand all of those feelings, but I understand a little. Even I have thought many times ”Even though I said I’d become an ally of the Sacred, what am I doing?”

Therefore, I stretch these tentacles toward Harukaze.

”Harukaze. Look at my form. Look at these tentacles, at their tips. Originally these are things for piercing women. Things for forcibly violating and making myself feel good. Because I harbored that kind of desire, these things grew.”

I want a beautiful woman, I want a woman I can freely control, I want a woman I can freely violate and enjoy.

If she struggles I restrain her, if she isn’t prepared I forcibly prepare her with lotion, I fix a woman who tries to run with adhesive liquid, and with aphrodisiac I forcibly make her body seek.

That is the ability I as a Monster Villain possess.

That is the desire I as a human harbored— the desire I ended up harboring when I saw Sacred Saber fighting for everyone’s sake.

There’s no way I can deny it; I sincerely thought I wanted to do that, and when I awakened to my previous life I also thought ”How convenient.”

If at that time the head of the Monster Villain that Saber happened to cut and send flying hadn’t come flying— if I hadn’t been saved by her in that instant.

I would have thoroughly used the previous-life knowledge and tried to violate the school students, Saber, Knuckle, and the other Sacred.

”But from your eyes, how do I look? Do I look like a monster that attacks women indiscriminately?”

”...No, no, you protected the students of the school. And even someone like me. Such a you does not look like a monster.”

”Ah, thank you— therefore, let me say this from my side as well. I can’t think of you as a sex maniac.”

I look at Harukaze with red eyes.

The student guidance PE teacher— honestly not an opponent I’m good with.

But that doesn’t mean it’s right for him to convince himself that he’s an incorrigible scum over something this worthless.

”It might sound like an excuse when I say it— but no matter what desire you harbor, in the end what matters is the actions and their results, right.

If you had been secretly photographing at the school I would thoroughly call you a sex maniac— but if you’ve lived seriously, no matter what desire you harbor you’re a serious human.”

Everyone lives while harboring desires.

While hiding things they can’t tell people in their hearts, they still adapt to society.

Of course, trying to release those desires recklessly is bad.

But harboring desires themselves can’t possibly be bad.

The logic that someone who lives while coming to terms with desires is an incorrigible scum can’t possibly hold water.

”But I couldn’t become like you— I couldn’t become like you who disciplines your own desires and fights together with the Sacred.”

”No, Atel-san, aren’t you completely unable to discipline your desires? In just this battle I think ’How many times has this guy lost.’”

Knuckle said it in a voice more like correcting a theoretical mistake than covering for Harukaze.

”As she says. While searching for you in this incident, I was super enjoying the skirts flipping from the wind. I also fully saw Leas Lot’s panties that I can never normally see.”

”!?”

Saber put on an expression of astonishment, blushed and readied her sword— then while taking a deep breath lowered the sword.

Of course; the current her is not Leas Lot but Sacred Saber, so if she gets angry at me here there’s a possibility the identity will be exposed.

Therefore she is doing her best by blushing and glaring as if condemning. It’s a desperate resistance, but that kind of reaction is erotic in its own way, I think.

”Don’t think too deeply; there’s no way you can erase desires. Then just come to terms with them and do what you should do.”

”Come to terms with them, and do what I should do.”

”Yeah. If you think I’m amazing then learn from me. Even a shitty bastard this faithful to lower-body desires can still be an ally of the justice of the Sacred if he decides to do it. If you’re not the type who flips and humiliates yourself, there’s no way a guy who likes panty flashes a bit can’t be a teacher.”

Whether I myself am doing well is honestly questionable— but at least from Harukaze’s perspective I am able to be a champion of justice. Even though at the root I’m just a perverted scum.

Then the talk is simple. If you do what you should do, the surroundings will arbitrarily judge what kind of human you are. No matter what the inside is, if you do correct things that person is surely a correct human.

There will be people who say that’s a lie, but I don’t care. What’s wrong with wearing a mask to become the self you want to be. The Sacred who are champions of justice are also hiding their identities, so the logic that not hiding is correct doesn’t hold water.

”Therefore stand tall. In the end other people can imagine the inside of this side but can’t peek into it.”

—Sacred Saber who is thought to be a dignified champion of justice is, except for high combat ability, an ordinary girl.

But many humans misrecognize her. From her bearing and vivid swordsmanship they convince themselves she is a perfect heroine of justice.

That is surely the result of Saber acting because she wanted to be that way— acting because she thought she must be that way.

As a result she is being worn down— but the effort of trying to approach the ideal itself is surely something that can’t be denied.

”Let the ones who want to say things say them as they like— those types will flip their hands later anyway.”

I turned toward the school building and snorted.

Toward the ones who, even though a Monster Villain appeared, neither ran away nor left the school building and kept pointing their phone cameras.

Many students averted their gazes. Feeling guilty that they had done wrong things, that they had pointed cameras according to desire, they slowly moved away from the windows.

I can’t laugh calling them half-hearted types. I’m similar.

Wanting to help the Sacred, yet feeling joy at the figure of them being humiliated— that kind of in-between.

But precisely because of that I understand. That they are not evil or anything.

Swept by the atmosphere of the place, swept by desire, making excuses and staining their hands with small bad deeds— those kinds of ordinary humans.

—Therefore I deliberately spoke as if mocking.

They themselves understand that they are doing bad things.

That’s exactly why this way of speaking becomes critical.

Precisely because they are not root evil they have conscience, and if you speak in a way that condemns it they can admonish themselves. The next time a similar situation comes, some of the people there will properly evacuate.

—Though of course not all of them are that kind.

There are ones who remain stuck to the windows and direct gazes that seem to say they find it hateful this way.

Looking down and preaching at us.

Even though I wanted to see more panty flashes, doing unnecessary things.

It’s just taking a few photos, that bastard.

According to desire, according to self-interest, they direct eyes as if shooting me.

—Well, I can’t say I don’t understand the feeling of getting angry.

Originally those types would have been the main axis of this school.

Niekawa dies, Harukaze becomes a Monster Villain— as a result of the humans who admonish those types vanishing, they pull other students onto the path of desire with the volume of their voices.

For them, the existence that is me is nothing but an obstacle.

I saved the talkative types who should have died, and hindered the more numerous shameful states of the Sacred that should have been seen.

They should be thinking that if only I weren’t here they could have done as they pleased more.

I understand the feeling. Even I played the original game many times and humiliated the Sacred. The common male feeling is that it’s better to be able to see the erotic figures of beautiful girls than not.

But— since I chose the path of saving them, even if I empathize with that feeling I can’t cooperate.

”—Well then, Sacred, Niekawa, Harukaze. If I haven’t completely fallen into being nothing more than a Monster Villain, let’s meet again.”

I extended tentacles, wrapped them around a utility pole— and flew away in one go.

The Sacred quietly, and Harukaze with a large bow, saw that figure off.
