Tentacle Monster Reincarnation: I Will Protect the Heroines

After school.

Back in my dorm room, I closed the curtains and then generated tentacles.

The schlorp of them emerging from my bare skin would have filled me with disgust just a short while ago. Now, they felt like nothing more than ordinary parts of my body.

”Either way, I need to get used to handling these tentacles.”

I lined up four cups on the desk.

I brought the tip of a tentacle close to one cup and strongly willed, Produce aphrodisiac.

In an instant, a different kind of mucus mixed into the normally slimy tip. It was colorless and odorless, but I could feel it — this was something that would drive a woman into a frenzy of pleasure.

Drip, drip. I filled the cup with the aphrodisiac, then immediately pointed the tentacle tip at another cup.

I didn’t particularly want the aphrodisiac. This was just to confirm what I was capable of.

”...I had a feeling I could do it, but I really can produce it.”

I wasn’t knowledgeable about drugs.

Normally, I shouldn’t have any understanding of the aphrodisiac’s ingredients, effects, or side effects.

But since the aphrodisiac squeezed out of me was treated as part of myself — I somehow understood that if administered orally, even a virtuous girl would start masturbating by the roadside, and that while the aphrodisiac itself wasn’t addictive, the pleasure it brought could easily lead to dependence.

Next, I strongly willed, Produce oil.

But nothing happened.

Apparently it was unnecessary for violating women.

In the same way, trying to produce adhesive was completely useless.

”...But.”

I imagined it.

A frightened woman. A girl completely unprepared to take a man.

To force myself on her, I needed something to make her slick — therefore, lotion was necessary.

In that instant, a slippery liquid was expelled from the tip of the tentacle. Warmed to body temperature, if spread on the ground it could hinder an opponent’s movement.

Similarly, when I thrust out a tentacle while thinking of restraining a woman in order to violate her, a mucus with adhesive-like properties was produced.

”No matter how far I go, it’s all ’for the sake of violating women.’”

I already knew that, but it was the absolute lowest.

The absolute lowest — yet thanks to that, a certain amount of application was possible.

In short, as long as it was under the pretext of violating women, my body would freely mix various kinds of mucus for me.

And then——

”...I thought it might be possible, but I never expected I could even make tentacle clothing.”

——I picked up a black parka and smiled with a strained expression.

After the battle with the Poison Monster Villain, I had given my black parka to Sacred Saber, so the original shouldn’t be in my possession anymore.

Yet right here in my hands was a parka with the exact same appearance.

When turned inside out, it looked like ordinary clothing — but when I strongly willed it, countless thin tentacles schlorped out from the inside.

Tentacle clothing — clothing literally made of tentacles.

Originally, this tentacle was meant to be forced onto a woman so she could be humiliated in public, but I decided to use it as something to wear when I transformed into a Monster Villain.

When I fully transformed, my entire body would be covered in tentacles anyway, so it wasn’t a problem, but walking around outside looking like a tentacle mummy was something I wanted to avoid.

However, if I kept wearing my everyday clothes every time, people close to me would definitely realize that the tentacle Monster Villain was me.

After thinking it over, I arrived at tentacle clothing. It was a gimmick for humiliating women, so I figured there was a chance I could make it.

In reality, that plan was a complete success — but.

Gurrrrr. My stomach loudly asserted itself.

”...So producing mucus or detaching tentacles isn’t completely without cost.”

Cutting off tentacles caused no pain.

That was the same for both the thin tentacles and the thick ones used for combat. There was sensation, but they were insensitive to pain.

Pain is the body’s danger signal, so perhaps tentacles simply didn’t need it. Since they regenerated anyway, they were meant to be used as shields to protect the main body.

However, repairing severed tentacles seemed to consume a considerable amount of calories, and my stomach kept growling, urging me to replenish them immediately.

I sighed, changed into casual clothes, and headed outside.

Ever since the appetite I showed when I was carried to the infirmary, eating normally would make my food expenses terrifying. I was glad I had researched a cheap, large-portion restaurant in advance. If I bought food from convenience stores, my parents’ allowance would disappear in no time.

◇

The place I arrived at was an old-fashioned set-meal restaurant.

This area had many schools besides the one I attended, and this place was apparently popular among athletic boys for being cheap, large in portion, and filling. When I asked Niekawa about it, he had cheerfully told me that the sports clubs sometimes held after-parties here.

Since it was my first time, I looked at the storefront with the air of a complete country bumpkin before sliding the door open with a clatter.

”Welcome!”

Hearing the energetic voice, I looked around inside.

It had a distinctly Showa-era, old-fashioned look. The aged tables and chairs, as well as the slightly discolored paper menu stuck to the wall, all contributed to the retro atmosphere. Only the television, which seemed to have been replaced a few years ago, reminded me that I hadn’t actually time-slipped.

But this was fine in its own way.

The only places I had ever gone before were family restaurants, chain gyudon shops, and the ramen place in front of the station. I had never experienced an old-fashioned shop like this. Honestly, it was getting me pretty hyped.

”Student, sorry, but all the seats are full. Can you share a table with someone?”

”Okay, understood.”

I nodded at the voice of a middle-aged man coming from the kitchen and looked around again.

I figured I’d just take a seat where there was space and checked the tables one by one——

And then I witnessed a silver-haired beauty absolutely demolishing a mountain of karaage.

——She was properly wearing the school’s blazer uniform, elegantly yet at a fairly brisk pace transferring the pile of fried chicken on her plate into her stomach.

The table she sat at was strangely empty despite the crowd — no, there was nothing strange about it. Just the fact that a girl had come to a place that was basically a boys’ hangout was rare enough, and a foreign silver-haired beauty on top of that? I could understand why even those with ulterior motives might hesitate a little.

”...You sure can eat a lot, Leas.”

”...?”

She had been focused on her meal. She turned a puzzled face toward me — finished chewing what was in her mouth, then nodded ”Ah.”

”Good evening, Senjumaru. I move my body quite a bit, so I have to eat properly or I can’t keep going.”

”Yeah. This is my first time here. Do you come often?”

”No, today is my first time. ...Last time, you made that food look so delicious that I wanted to try some myself. I asked Reiko and she told me about this place.”

”That junior knows everything, huh...”

”She’s well-connected, that girl.”

Leas smiled and added that she had invited Reiko too, but been turned down.

I could understand Reiko’s feelings on this one. No matter how you looked at it, this place wasn’t for girls. It was a place for hungry boys to fill their stomachs with rice and meat.

The menu was a parade of solid protein and carbohydrates. It would be a terrible match for girls who wanted to nibble on various small dishes.

”Ah, excuse me! One tonkatsu set meal, large size!”

But that was exactly what boys liked. Plenty of rice and meat. High school boys could live on just that.

I settled my weight into the chair while listening to the ”Coming right up!” from the kitchen.

I felt like I was being stared at from all sides, but what did I care? If there had been other empty seats, I would have sat elsewhere. It was the fault of all the boys avoiding Leas and clustering together, plus my own hunger.

”...From the looks of it, your condition has improved.”

”Yeah. You really helped me back then. Sorry about that — at least let me pay for your meal here as thanks.”

”I decline. Just the fact that you were saved is enough reward for me. If you give me anything more, I’ll end up receiving too much.”

Leas firmly refused the offer of thanks while speaking lightly.

Come to think of it, she had said something similar when helping other people.

She didn’t want repayment — she was simply happy that someone was saved.

It was a way of thinking I, a worldly person, couldn’t understand. What kind of life experience led someone to become like that?

Feeling a little bad about it, I dug through my previous-life memories — but.

——Whoa, no good. Almost nothing remains of the previous game’s memories except the erotic scenes...!?

There were only memories of skipping through everything with the attitude of ”It’s an eroge, so I just want to get to the sex scenes already.” What useless memories! Read it properly next time!

And yet, the memories of ”If you bring this particular Monster Villain unit and defeat this Sacred, this erotic scene will trigger” remained crystal clear. If I closed my eyes, a flowchart-like thing would float into my mind. My previous-life memories were way too biased...!

”What’s wrong, Senjumaru? You’ve gone quiet.”

”Nah, lately my appetite has been way stronger than I thought. Even now I’m super hungry and feeling sluggish.”

”Ah, I see.”

I thought this excuse might be a stretch, but thanks to the previous incident in the infirmary, she accepted it smoothly.

There was no way I could say——

’I was thinking about how if I defeated you while leading a Slime Monster Villain, there was an erotic scene where you’d be swallowed by slime, have your underwear dissolved, forced to drink a diuretic liquid, and then cry ”Don’t look” while staining the slime yellow while the protagonist and onlookers watched.’

——so I had no choice but to cover it up with everything I had.

”Here you go, large tonkatsu set meal!”

”Oh, thanks—— wait, thanks?”

I turned at the perfect timing — and saw it.

Freshly fried tonkatsu was piled into a mountain on the large plate. The white rice and miso soup on the same tray were normal size, which only made the amount of meat look even more absurd.

What the hell is this? This is an insane mountain...?

I could hear the surrounding boys saying things like ”Ah, he ordered the large size,” ”Amateur...,” ”I’m standing by to get some meat from that guy,” and ”Me too, me too.” The owner laughed loudly as he handed me the tray. ”It’s priced as listed, so don’t worry about your wallet.”

——Come to think of it, the website I searched had mentioned that the large size was more like a ”super size.”
