Reborn As Noble

Meanwhile, in the next building.

Gracelle glanced nervously at Juria and her assistant, who were preparing to remove the monitoring equipment from her body. Her eyes widened as Juria reached for the pulse oximeter clip on her finger.

”Eh? Am I going to die?”

Juria tilted her head in confusion. ”What?”

”Umm... if you pull that thing off, won’t my heartbeat... stop?”

Juria glanced at her assistant before both of them let out a soft laugh.

”No~” Juria laughed, shaking her head gently. ”This device is just for monitoring your heart rate and oxygen levels. It doesn’t keep you alive. It just tells us how your body is doing.”

”R... really?” Gracelle glanced up at them again.

”Yes. This device is just for monitoring your vital signs. It’s not connected to your heart or anything like that.”

”Oh...” Gracelle nodded slowly, her expression easing. ”So that floating water...?”

Juria laughed again. ”This isn’t floating water. This is an IV drip. It gives your body nutrients and fluids to help you recover. We won’t remove it until the doctor says it’s safe to do so.”

”Oh...” Gracelle made an ’O’ shape with her lips before nodding slowly, letting the healers continue their work.

”Umm... so... where is... Miss Liana?”

Juria and her assistant paused. ”Ah... her? I believe she’ll be here soon. Why?”

”Umm... nothing... it’s just... she promised me something before... I’m going to be transferred to Armand.”

Juria smiled warmly. ”Yes. Since we need to continue monitoring your condition and ensuring your recovery progresses smoothly, and it’s not safe for you to remain in Mathrias, it’s better for you to be transferred to the Armand Healing Facility.”

”So, umm... the noble boy who requested you all to save me... is he nearby?” Gracelle glanced at them, her eyes filled with hope and curiosity.

Juria and her assistant exchanged confused glances.

”Noble boy? Who?”

”Ah... his name is...”

Just as Gracelle was about to continue, Liana stepped inside the room wearing her maid dress, her silver hair flowing gracefully behind her, her presence commanding and calm.

”How is the patient’s condition?”

Juria and her assistant both widened their eyes, slowly turning and giving Liana a respectful bow, placing their hands on their left chests.

”The patient’s condition is stable and no longer in critical state, Miss Liana. She’s ready for transfer.”

”Good. I assume everything is prepared?”

”Yes, Miss Liana.”

”Mm... good. I’ll take it from here. You two can go help the others prepare.”

”We’ll take our leave, Miss Liana.” Juria and her assistant gave another bow before rushing out of the room.

Liana glanced at them as they left.

Thank goodness I arrived early before they could answer Gracelle’s question.

If they blurted out that the doctor was Young Master all along, I would have missed my chance to see Gracelle and Young Master’s priceless reactions, the ones I’ve been eagerly waiting for.

She turned her attention to Gracelle and crossed her arms.

”Now, Gracelle.”

”Yes, Miss Liana?”

Liana handed over a premium paper bag she had brought with her and gave it to Gracelle.

”Since your condition is good now, wear this.”

”Hmm? What is it?” Gracelle took the bag and peeked inside.

Her eyes widened the moment she saw the beautiful dress folded neatly inside.

”This... is for me?”

”Yes. Just wear it. You want to look beautiful when you meet Young Master, don’t you? You don’t want to meet him looking like you just crawled out of a sickbed.”

”Mm...” Gracelle smiled, her heart fluttering with happiness. ”Thank you, Miss Liana, for being so thoughtful...”

”Yes, yes~ Now change your outfit.”

”H... here?”

”Yes, where else? Besides, everyone here is a girl. There’s nothing to be shy about.”

Gracelle removed her blanket and sat on the side of the bed, glancing at Liana as she reached for her patient gown.

”Umm... could you... please... umm... turn around?”

Liana crossed her arms and glanced down at her. ”Just change already.”

”Umm... okay...” Gracelle mumbled softly while averting her eyes.

Liana stood with one arm crossed under her chest, the elbow of her other arm resting on it as she touched her chin, watching Gracelle intently.

Gracelle slowly removed her patient gown, revealing her naked body. Her cheeks flushed deeply as she stood there, completely bare. Her breasts were full and firm, though of average size, with soft pink nipples. Her body was still a bit skinny, her ribs faintly visible, but her skin was smooth and pale, untouched by scars or blemishes.

”Hmm... Looks like your body will regain its full health within two or three months with proper meals and care,” Liana mumbled softly, nodding in approval. ”Good. This means your body is suitable for Young Master’s bride.”

Gracelle’s eyes widened. She quickly covered her breasts with one arm and her pussy with her other hand, her cheeks flushing even redder.

”What?” Liana tilted her head. ”You promised him to be his bride, didn’t you? I still remember you said you were going to learn to be the best wife. Or was that promise just a childish whim?”

Gracelle pursed her lips firmly. ”No. It wasn’t a whim. I was serious. I still am.”

”Then what I said earlier is true. There’s nothing wrong with acknowledging that having a beautiful body is essential if you want to become Young Master’s wife.” She smirked. ”And if you saw all his current future wives, you might want to regain your figure quickly if you want to keep up with them. Besides, I’ve known my Young Master for a long time, and I know his taste.”

”R... really?” Gracelle’s eyes narrowed, and she pursed her lips nervously. ”D... do you think my body will... umm... be good enough for him?” She slowly removed her hands, showing her entire body to Liana.

”Mm...” Liana gave her an approving nod. ”Just make sure you regain your health. The faster you recover, the sooner you’ll be ready to stand beside him.”

Gracelle slowly reached for the dress and paused.

”Umm... no underwear? Or bra?”

Liana shook her head. ”No. Your body isn’t ready for tight undergarments yet. It’s better to let your skin breathe and avoid any unnecessary pressure while you’re still recovering.”

”Oh... okay.”

Liana exhaled and raised her palm, casting a gentle Purify and Cleanse spell over Gracelle’s body. A soft, warm glow enveloped her, shimmering like morning light through dew. The magic washed over her skin, leaving it feeling refreshed, clean, and tingling with a subtle warmth.

Gracelle smiled softly. ”Thank you, Miss Liana. You’re so kind and thoughtful... I don’t know how to repay you.”

”Yes, yes~ Now change quickly. We don’t have much time. Young Master will be busy after this.”

”O... okay.” Gracelle smiled, reaching for the dress and slowly slipping it on. She guided it over her head, sliding her right arm through the sleeve, but paused when she was about to push her left arm through.

”Err... Miss Liana?”

”Yes?” Liana tilted her head to the side, arms still crossed. ”What?”

”You said... you know his taste... did you... umm... you know...”

Liana shook her head and exhaled. ”You mean if I’ve ever slept with him?”

”S... sorry... but knowing how nobles are... you know...”

”You don’t need to know about that. Of course, I know all about him. I’ve been with him since he was a baby. Of course, he’s told me about his preferences.” Liana gave a small, knowing smile, carefully avoiding revealing her true status. ”And besides, Young Master isn’t like other nobles. He’s not someone who sleeps around with women as he pleases. He respects and cares for those close to him.”

”Oh... sorry... I didn’t mean it like that. It’s just... you are... umm... too beautiful... and you’re an elf...”

”Well, if you really want to know more, it’s best if you ask him directly after this. There are a lot of things you want to say to him, right?”

Gracelle’s eyes lit up with excitement. ”Yessss!!”
