Reborn As Noble

”Young Master?”

Liana glanced at Javier, who had fallen silent.

”Yes, Liana?” He turned toward her, meeting her eyes.

”What’s wrong? You suddenly went quiet.”

”Ah... nothing.” Javier smiled.

”If you say so.” Liana turned back to her plate.

Javier’s gaze lingered on the gentle bounce of her breasts as she moved. His eyes trailed slowly down to her thighs.

Damn. I really want her... but this whole month has been too busy. Haven’t even had time for our next ”honeymoon.”

He glanced at Gloria, seated to his left, calmly eating.

His eyes drifted to her chest.

Super boing~

Woo~ My future second wife has the biggest assets, with Liana ranking second in size.

Javier’s gaze shifted to Felicia, who was still pouting but had started eating again.

I wonder how catfolk like her taste. Ehehe.

She comes third in terms of asset size.

But I wonder if they’re the same as a human’s?

Javier’s eyes drifted back to Garius’s table.

He watched as Garius stood, Alf bowed, and then Alf began walking toward him, just as his father moved away, escorted by Hesbeirn, Erinnette, Gilmon, and several Armand Elite Knights.

Ah... definitely a mission. Or trouble.

Javier sighed.

”Young Master?” Liana asked softly.

Javier stood, smiling faintly. ”I think I’m going somewhere.”

”Where are you going, Young Master?” Liana repeated, her voice gentle but concerned.

Javier slid both hands into his pockets and nodded toward Alf’s approaching figure.

Liana and Gloria stood smoothly, bowing with practiced grace, palms pressed to their left chests. ”Sir Alf.”

Alf returned the nod, then turned toward Felicia, Mimi, and Delya. He placed his palm over his own chest and offered a respectful incline of his head.

”Good day, Your Royal Highnesses. I hope the feast has been to your satisfaction.”

Felicia was the first to respond. She placed her hand lightly over her own chest and gave a small, dignified nod. ”Sir Alf. The feast is wonderful. Please extend our thanks to His Majesty.”

Mimi’s ears perked up, and she mimicked the gesture with a cheerful grin. ”Nya~ Thank you, Sir Alf! ”

Delya offered a gentle, knowing smile. She touched her fingertips to her chest and bowed her head slightly, her tone warm. ”Sir Alf... it’s good to see you well. And indeed the food is good. We are grateful for his hospitality.”

Alf’s expression softened.

”I will convey your words to His Majesty. He will be glad to hear you are enjoying yourselves.”

Then his eyes returned to Javier. The warmth faded back into that familiar, dutiful calm.

”Prince Javier. His Majesty requests your presence.”

Javier met Alf’s gaze, then looked away with a soft sigh.

”Alright, Alf... I’ll be right there.”

”Good.” Alf’s voice was low, but the weight behind it was clear. ”Do not keep His Majesty waiting, Prince Javier. This is... important.”

”Alright, alright.” Javier flashed a sheepish grin and rubbed the back of his neck. ”I’m coming.”

Once Alf turned to leave, Javier faced the girls.

”Liana, Gloria, Felicia, Mimi, Delya.”

Five pairs of eyes locked onto him.

”Yes, Husband?” they answered, almost in harmony.

”Stay here. Enjoy the feast. If I’m longer than I expect... just wait for me in my room.”

Felicia’s smile was warm. ”Okay, Husband~”

”Nya! Understood, Husband-sama!” Mimi chimed, already reaching for another slice of meat.

Delya nodded dreamily. ”Okay, Danna-sama~”

Liana and Gloria began to rise, but Javier held up a hand.

”Don’t follow. I don’t want you two standing like sentries outside Father’s door. Stay, eat, keep them company. If I’m not back in thirty minutes, head to my room.”

Liana’s lips tightened, but she exhaled slowly. ”As you wish.”

Gloria adjusted her glasses, a faint, knowing smile on her lips. ”We’ll be here, Young Master.”

Javier gave one last glance at the table, before turning toward his father room.

While walking from the table, Javier followed Alf at a distance toward the throne room behind the main hall.

What’s this all about?

King Kimar couldn’t have reached that level of artifact power... Not with the weapons they’re trying to build.

Unless... it’s that thing Kliatana mentioned. Her late father’s research, mana injection, curse tools, human enhancement.

Well... whatever it is, I’m about to get busy.

And shit... there goes my peaceful day.

Let’s hope it’s not serious.

If it is... I’ll send in my battle drones and transport units. Puppet knights could wipe them out before they even know what hit them.

Or better yet... I’ll just crush them myself.

Meanwhile.

Eastern Armand Border Wall

Guard Post - Command & Surveillance Room.

The Captain of the Eastern Border stood behind the command console, eyes fixed on the surveillance feeds. He tapped his mana talkie.

”Keep your distance. Continue patrols as usual. Maintain surveillance on the group.”

”Yes, Captain. So... just patrol normally?”

”Affirmative. Do not let them know they’re being watched. We’re still awaiting orders from Armand Estate and Command Central.”

”Understood, Captain.”

He switched channels, glancing at the real-time Sky Eye feed displayed on the secured holo-screen.

”Second Squad, report.”

”Second Squad ready, Captain.”

”Prioritize civilian safety. Be prepared to engage if necessary.”

”Copy. Mana rifles locked and loaded. Blades and daggers ready.”

”Good. Hold position. Do not engage unless provoked. They’re still blending with our people.”

”Captain.”

”Yes?”

”Why aren’t we arresting them yet?” The guard at the command post shifted his gaze from the Sky Eye feed back to his captain.

”Not yet. They have valid travel paperwork, full identification, and haven’t broken any laws.”

”But they’re suspicious. Their movements are too coordinated for ordinary merchants.”

”Agreed. Even under Armand’s laws, we don’t arrest on suspicion alone. But we don’t take risks either.”

The captain leaned in, lowering his voice.

”Sir Alf’s Shadow Unit flagged them before they crossed the border. They originated from the Royal Capital of the Human Kingdom. They’re not refugees, not traders... they move like scouts. Or spies.”

The guard’s expression tightened. ”Spies? Under our noses?”

”Possible. That’s why we watch. If they make one wrong move, attempt sabotage, gather intel on our defenses, try to infiltrate restricted areas, we take them down quietly. But until then... we follow protocol. Observe, document, report.”

”Understood, Captain.”
