Reborn As Noble

After breakfast.

Delya followed closely behind Javier, her steps light and eyes dreamy as she watched him work. He knelt down near the clearing, hands moving skillfully as glowing magic circles spun around him.

”Danna-sama~ what are you building?” she asked sweetly, clasping her hands behind her back as she leaned slightly forward, her gaze never leaving him.

”Hm?” Javier glanced up briefly. ”Ah... I was thinking of making a new portable house. A bigger version of what we’re using now,” he said casually, his tone focused. ”Since last night you all couldn’t decide who’d sleep next to me, I figured, why not build something big enough so we can all sleep together?”

As he spoke, the ore pieces near him liquefied under his mana, swirling upward before reforming into sturdy floor plates and frame joints, each piece locking into place with soft clicks and golden sparks.

But before he could summon the next component, Gloria stepped in, quick and smooth.

She grabbed his wrist gently, her other hand dramatically pressed to her cheek as she looked up at him.

”No, Young Master~ I believe you should pause this little project... just for a while~”

”Eh?” Javier blinked. ”Why?”

Gloria leaned in close, her breath brushing his ear. Her voice was low and teasing.

”Ara~ You’re only making Liana important now, is that it? Planning to spoil her alone, now that you’ve ’become a man’?” Her eyes flicked sideways toward the others before locking back onto his. ”It’ll look like you’re putting Liana above the rest of us, won’t it~?”

Javier frowned. ”W-What are you talking about?”

She gave him a sly, knowing smile. ”No, no, Young Master. You’ll put all this in your storage now, okay~? Let’s keep using the same small shelter for... hmm... at least a week, shall we~?”

He stared at her. Then it clicked. The look in her eyes. The gentle squeeze on his wrist. Gloria wasn’t talking about fairness, she was claiming her time.

If he finished the new house, the others would cling to him at night again. There’d be no chance for a quiet moment. No chance for what Liana had last night.

She leaned in again, whispering with a soft sigh that only he could hear, ”Don’t you think we all deserve the same sweet memory~? Or... are you planning to only love Liana and abandon the rest of us? How cruel of you, Young Master~ So cruel~”

Javier stared at her, lips twitching, then sighed in surrender.

”Fine, fine. I get it. No new house for a week,” he murmured, deactivating the crafting array.

Then he leaned slightly, his voice a whisper against her ear, his smirk returning. ”Don’t worry... You’ll get your turn... my second wife.”

Gloria’s cheeks flushed faintly, but her triumphant smile didn’t fade. ”Fufufu~ I’ll be waiting, Young Master~”

Liana just shook her head quietly, watching the playful exchange between Javier and Gloria from a distance.

Inside her mind,

Well... I already got what I needed.

A soft, satisfied smile tugged at her lips as she returned to cleaning the plates, stacking them neatly into the enchanted storage box Javier had crafted for their camp supplies.

It’s up to them now... on how they’ll ”seduce” our young master~

She let out a gentle hum, pleased with herself.

I do wonder though... who’s going to scream the loudest when their moment finally comes~

A subtle giggle escaped her lips, though she kept her expression composed.

Not my problem anymore~.

She knelt gracefully, rinsing the last bowl with water magic, then wiped her hands against a clean cloth before closing the box lid with a soft click.

Her eyes turned to the sky, thoughtful.

Still... I wonder... will Young Master resume his mission after this?

Liana’s gaze shifted toward Javier again, her smile deepening.

She rose gracefully, then walked toward him with quiet, measured steps. Javier had just finished sealing away the metallic frame and their compact portable shelter into his storage, dusting his hands off as the last shimmer of mana faded from the air.

”Young Master,” Liana called softly, stopping just beside him. ”What are we going to do after this?”

Javier turned to her, rubbing his chin in thought. ”We’ll continue our mission. I’ll coordinate directly with the Armand main army from here.”

He glanced toward the edge of town.

”For this town,” Javier continued, ”I’ve assigned my knights to remain as security. I’ve also deployed one of the new battle drones to patrol the outer perimeter and assist our Armand main army.”

Liana nodded slowly, listening intently.

”I’ve already sent word to General Hesbeirn,” Javier added, eyes narrowing with focus. ”He’ll advance after the next town is cleared. I’ll order the air sweep using the drone first, clean and precise. I don’t want anyone here, especially you girls, to take unnecessary risks.”

Liana’s heart fluttered slightly at his words, but she kept her expression steady.

”My special operation knights will handle the sweep and clean-up missions. Once the next town is secured, I’ll move ahead with deploying the 5,000 new puppet knights I’ve been preparing in advance.”

He stepped back and crossed his arms.

”They’ll march ahead in full formation. Let the enemy and the envoy both see it clearly... that Armand has arrived.”

He pulled out a silver cube from his dimensional storage, a compact command core about the size of a palm, and tossed it lightly onto the ground.

With a soft thrum, the cube hovered slightly before releasing a pulse of mana. In an instant, a glowing holographic field expanded outward in a circular radius, rising into a full 3D display above the grass.

The Sky Eye’s live feed blinked to life at the top, capturing aerial surveillance footage in real-time, while below, a wide-scale map of the Arjam Region shimmered into view. Colored markers highlighted towns, patrol paths, known enemy positions, and Armand’s current deployment points.

Javier pointed to several key areas.

”From here,” he said, his voice calm but resolute, ”I’ll divide the army into two operational divisions. I’ll send our special operation puppet knights along with two transport drones to these points,” his finger tapped three glowing red dots ”,to perform full sweep-and-capture missions on all mercenaries and rogue knights hiding in those zones.”

He adjusted the view, zooming out to show the wider region.

”I’ve got 20,000 upgraded puppet knights now fully operational,” he continued, ”so I’ll divide them into two major divisions and deploy them here,” his finger traced over two towns along the eastern and northeastern roads, ”,to secure them in one movement. The Armand banner will be raised in both.”
