Reborn As Noble

Liana and Gloria moved gracefully, their maid uniforms fluttering softly with each step.

Gloria set Javier’s utensils neatly before him, her movements precise and practiced. Liana followed, serving food onto his plate with a gentle smile.

Both leaned in from either side, Liana on his left, Gloria on his right, lowering their voices just for him.

”Young master~ eat,” Gloria chimed, her tone both playful and firm.

”Mmm... please eat, young master,” Liana added softly. ”I’m sure we’ll be busy after this.”

Gloria’s smile widened. ”Don’t worry. We’ll pack our things and have the Pekko ready.”

Liana nodded, eyes glinting. ”Yes. Besides, it’s our duty to attend our young master. We wouldn’t want you to... stray, would we?”

Their words and their matching smiles left little room for argument.

Javier could only sigh, realizing resistance was pointless. Surrounded on both sides, he picked up his utensils and started to eat.

”My~ Gloria, look at our young master. He looks so dissatisfied...” Liana teased, tilting her head, her voice dripping with mock concern. ”What could possibly be the problem?”

”Ara~ I believe young master doesn’t want us to follow him~” Gloria replied, her tone playful, lips curled in a soft, knowing smile.

Liana pressed a hand to her cheek, eyes shining with mischief. ”Maybe it’s because if he goes alone, he’ll end up flirting... or perhaps find another girl from Arjam?”

Gloria let out a gentle laugh. ”Yes~ I’ve heard Arjam is full of beauties. We’ll have to be extra vigilant, won’t we?”

They exchanged a look, quiet laughter bubbling between them, completely at ease. Javier could only grumble, slumping further as their banter surrounded him on both sides.

I haven’t even married these two yet, and they already think I’ll go find another girl... Sigh... What did I do wrong?

Don’t blame me for being so handsome. It’s not like I seduced Felicia, Mimi, Delya, or Ferine... Well... err... maybe?

No.

I don’t think I seduced them just by looking this good. They’re the ones who fell for this charming, genius young man. Not my fault.

He ran a hand through his hair, letting out a silent, satisfied sigh.

Ah~ how lucky to be reborn handsome. Especially in the Armand family.

He glanced around the table, his mind wandering freely.

Look at Marcellus... living it up with that dark elf mother-daughter pair. Those two look more like siblings than anything else... Well, that’s dark elves for you.

And Cedric...the holy paladin himself. Sitting there looking all righteous while Meira and Princess Zania quietly fight for his attention.. Sure, they look calm now in front of Father, but I know what happens when he’s alone. Sparks everywhere... and not the magical kind.

Then there’s the sibling pair...Now that Father hasn’t objected, they’re openly together, they act like nothing in the world could separate them. One’s too handsome for his own good, the other’s so beautiful it’s almost unfair. Hopelessly in love.

Well...

Who am I to judge, anyway?

It’s their life.

Their own choices.

Not my problem.

At least they’re happy... and they don’t bother me.

Heres just left the room, probably running straight to that bratty. Good, maybe they’ll get together and she’ll stop pestering me for a while.

The farther that noisy girl stays away from me, the better.

Javier’s eyes lifted to his father at the head of the table. Garius was speaking calmly with Francesca, his expression as composed as ever.

And Father... I don’t even know his real age, but he’s scored four wives already.

My mother, Francesca, is perfection itself. Lady Garcinia, beautiful, but still can’t outshine Mother. Then there’s Lady Phenelopie... quiet, but graceful. And then that White Flame dragon girl, Eridith. Father’s fourth wife, terrifyingly strong, yet still gets bullied by Mother. Hah...

His eyes flicked toward the ceiling as he continued his mental count.

Oh right... future wife Queen Mylezra, and that demon beauty, what’s her name again? Nyxara? The one related to King Veldrac? Yep. Six. The man has six stunning women in his orbit. Even I have to respect that.

He smirked.

And finally... me! The most handsome youngest son in all of Armand. No, in the entire world. Hands down.

He straightened in his seat, chest puffed out.

Girls are all over me...Liana and Gloria, my lovely elf and half-elf attendants, Felicia, Mimi, Delya, and Ferine... ah, such troublesome beauties drawn to this charming young man.

With a smug little lift of his chin, Javier speared another piece of roast meat, biting into it with complete satisfaction.

Ah~ lucky to be reborn as a super ikemen. Mmph! Don’t be jealous, everyone~

”Honey bun?” Francesca’s voice drifted gently across the table as she sipped her tea, her eyes warm and teasing.

”What is my sweet boy thinking~?” she asked, her tone light and lilting as she sipped her tea. ”Excited to lead the operation?” Her smile was pure affection, but her eyes glimmered with playful sharpness, an expression no one could escape from.

”A-ah...” Javier quickly looked away, pretending to be deeply focused on cutting his food.

No way I’m saying any of that out loud...

He coughed lightly. ”Umm... no, just thinking about the plan. How to execute it.” His tone was neutral, his face composed, but the faint stiffness in his shoulders betrayed him.

”That’s my sweet boy~ I’m proud of you~” Francesca cooed, her laughter soft and motherly, eyes twinkling with pride.

At the head of the table, Garius gave a slow, approving nod, eating with his usual composed calm. But Javier caught it, the subtle twitch at the corner of his father’s lips. That tiny, infuriating smirk.

Eeeeee!! That smirk again! Javier screamed inwardly, stabbing at a piece of meat.

That’s the ’My son’s growing up to be a fine leader’ smirk! The ’future head of Armand’ look!

He groaned internally, lowering his gaze in defeat as everyone else around the table continued their meal in contented silence.

The entire table paused as raised voices and hurried footsteps echoed from the corridor outside.

”Ah! Please, Princess... please wait! The family is in an important council meeting!”

”Eh~? But I’m also future family, right? My future husband is inside~ As his future third wife, I should be allowed to attend too, shouldn’t I~?”

”B-but, Princess... please understand...”

”Pleaseeeee~? I just want to see him!”

”I-I will ask Lord Garius first. Please, just wait here, don’t come in until—!”

The last plea was cut off as the heavy double doors swung open without warning.

Liana and Gloria’s smiles froze instantly. Their eyes darkened with dangerous shade of jealousy known only to women who had already accepted their place... yet refused to share the spotlight so easily.

The air thickened.

Liana’s tone was calm, but her eyes glimmered faintly. ”It seems our young master’s next headache has arrived.”

Gloria’s soft chuckle followed. ”Ara~ so soon? My, my... she must be very eager to see her future husband.”

Javier froze mid-bite, shoulders stiffening.

His fork hovered in the air.

Oh no. That voice. That tone. That absolute lack of restraint.

Don’t tell me...

He slowly turned toward the door.
