My SSS-Rank Innate skill: Infinite Adaptation core

”Still, both of you need to remain careful. There will be many talents we haven’t accounted for. The human continent is vast, and heirs from the great families will also be participating. It won’t be easy.”

Rieka smiled and replied without hesitation.

”Yes, Darling. We know.”

”Anyway, Rieka... do you feel any signs of your bloodline awakening? Has anything changed at all?” Nova asked. After the intense training she had been going through, he couldn’t help but wonder if something might have shifted.

Rieka shook her head.

”No, Darling. Nothing feels different.”

Nyxara spoke next.

”Some bloodlines are quite unique. Unless you receive external help from a suitable treasure, they simply won’t awaken.”

{Yes. Just like she said. Rieka will need external assistance to awaken her bloodline. We’re talking about a Divine-rank bloodline, after all,} Liya added.

Nyxara nodded slightly.

”Mine was an exception. I pushed myself for hundreds of years... and even then, it was nothing short of a miracle that I awakened it while standing on the verge of death.”

Nova frowned thoughtfully.

”Then what about Maria? How did she awaken hers so easily?”

{I’ve already told you. Awakening is also a form of being chosen. The rest is something I can’t reveal yet.}

The women listened carefully. Although they didn’t fully understand everything Liya referred to, Nova had already shared enough with them over time so that they wouldn’t feel completely left out of such conversations.

Suddenly, Nyxara took out a bright, radiant fruit that glowed softly in her hand. She held it up for everyone to see.

”This is a Saint-grade True Awakening Fruit. My mother gave it to me when I was still a child.” She then turned toward Rieka.

”I’d like to give it to you. It no longer has any use for me.”

Nova and the other three women were clearly surprised. A Saint-grade treasure was only one rank below Divine-grade.

Anyone in this world who possessed such an item was either extremely powerful or extraordinarily wealthy.

Rieka quickly shook her head.

”No, no... I can’t accept something this precious from you, Sister Nyxara.”

Curious, Nova appraised the fruit.

[True Awakening Fruit]

[Rank: Saint]

Description:

[A rare spiritual fruit that awakens dormant bloodlines below the Divine Rank without harming the wielder. It protects the body and soul from the backlash and strain caused by the awakening process.]

++++

His eyes widened slightly. It was an exceptional treasure... though unfortunately, it still wouldn’t be enough for Rieka’s Divine-rank bloodline.

Nyxara spoke gently.

”It’s alright. Now that we’re family, we should help each other grow stronger. Though... I don’t know if it will be enough to awaken your bloodline, since it’s only Saint-grade while yours is Divine-rank.”

{It doesn’t matter,} Liya interjected.

Everyone turned toward the hot milf system as she continued.

{Nova , Rieak and Aisa will soon enter the secret realm. Most of the precious treasures in this world originally come from places like that. If they manages to obtain even one more Saint-rank fruit of a similar nature, Nova can fuse them together to create a Divine-rank version.}

Nova and the others immediately understood. They were already well aware of how absurdly powerful his fusion skill was, and they also knew of the upcoming secret realm.

Nova looked at Nyxara.

”Did your mother obtain this from a secret realm? And from what I know... are demons even allowed to enter them?”

Nyxara smiled faintly.

”There are still many things you don’t know, Husband. Yes, we aren’t allowed to enter the secret realms that open from the Desolate Land.”

”However... whoever created this particular secret realm made sure to give every race an equal opportunity.

Knowing that demons are hated by most other races, a separate entrance was prepared for us. It opens on the fourth level of the Abyss.”

”What? Really?!”

Nova, Asia, and Rieka all looked stunned. They hadn’t expected something like that to exist. Even though Asia and Rieka were natives of this world, there was only so much one could know without years of experience and exposure to higher-level secrets.

Velena spoke calmly from the side.”Yes, Lord Nova. And my princess has entered the secret realm several times.”

Nova turned to Nyxara with clear curiosity.

”Really? Then tell us... what’s it like inside?”

Nyxara’s lips curved into a teasing smile.

”Hehe... not until you give me a kiss.” The other women immediately rolled their eyes.

At first, they had thought Nyxara was simply a bit shy — the classic tsundere type. But it didn’t take long for them to realize they had been wrong. Little by little, she was becoming more and more of a yandere.

In truth, it wasn’t only her.

Asia and Rieka’s personalities had also changed a great deal after meeting Nova.

Rieka, who once wanted nothing to do with humans or any other race besides her own, had grown far more open-minded.

She now felt comfortable around others, having come to understand that race itself was never the real problem — people were.

Asia, who had once been mostly shy, had grown noticeably bolder... though traces of her shy side still remained.

As for Nyxara... she was like a fox. Anyone who saw her now might think she had been acting before. Or perhaps she had simply become deeply obsessed.

Then again... all of his women seemed to be developing in that direction.

Nova chuckled at the cute yet naughty behavior of the demon princess. Without hesitation, he pulled her onto his lap and kissed her passionately. After a short but deep kiss, he pulled back with a smile.

”Happy?”

Nyxara nodded brightly.

”Yes!”

She made no move to leave his lap, clearly taking full advantage of the situation. Rieka, Asia, and Liya all gritted their teeth slightly at the sly fox’s antics, but they remained calm. They knew their own chances would come soon enough.

Settling comfortably against him, Nyxara finally began to explain.

”It’s a truly terrifying and unpredictable place. I’ve only entered it five times.

No matter how strong you are — whether you’re a King Realm expert or even a Sovereign Realm powerhouse — your real strength is suppressed down to the Grandmaster Realm.”

”There’s also time dilation inside, but it’s completely irregular. Sometimes it barely exists, and other times months can pass.

It’s nothing like the stable time difference of this system space. Sometimes you leave with nothing... and sometimes you gain a great deal.”

”Every step is dangerous and can cost you your life. There are powerful beasts inside — not the same as Demonic Beasts — and they are extremely deadly.”

”Like I said, if you’re lucky, you might find treasures. I only obtained a few things, most of which were useless to me personally, though they still held value. My mother, on the other hand, managed to obtain a Saint-grade treasure.”

”There are also many inheritance grounds... but you can’t choose them. They choose you. I attempted one once, but I failed right at the beginning because I wasn’t deemed worthy.”

She paused briefly before continuing in a more serious tone.

”In a way, I was lucky that I failed early. If I had gone deeper into the challenge, I would have died. Many people have lost their lives that way. There are a few things you need to keep in mind.”

”Every time a secret realm opens, it’s never completely the same. The inheritances may remain, but the starting areas can easily kill you. And if the secret realm itself doesn’t will it... no one will obtain anything.”

”In the end, it depends on both your luck and your strength to survive inside. That’s why I say entering is almost the same as walking toward death if you lack real battlefield experience.”

”Most importantly... even if you enter as a team, it doesn’t matter. Everyone is spawned at completely random locations.”

Nyxara looked at Nova, then at Rieka and Asia, her voice softening slightly.

”So, my dear husband... although I don’t want you, Rieka, or Asia to go inside... the choice is still yours. I won’t force you.”

Nova, Rieka, and Asia all fell silent for a moment, clearly surprised by just how dangerous the place truly was.

Still, as Nyxara had said, survival ultimately depended on one’s skill and preparedness. As long as they grew confident enough in their own abilities... they would simply have to face it.

Still, before they could even think about entering the secret realm, they first needed to obtain the passes — and for that, they had to win the tournament.

After chatting about a few more things, Nova and the others finally left the system space and began preparing for the tournament that would begin the next day
