Marvel: All My Incarnations Are S-Class Villainesses

Chapter 138: Chapter 138 After being promoted to Level 6

After being promoted to Level 6, Makima couldn’t wait to use her new authority—

A stern-looking senior S.H.I.E.L.D. Instructor sat behind a desk, carefully reviewing a paper file in his hands.

”I see...”

The Instructor closed the file, looked up at Makima standing before the desk. His gaze held scrutiny but more recognition:

”Agent Makima, intelligence indicates that before being recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D., you were active as an independent intelligence broker in Eastern Europe and Central Asia for a full seven years... No wonder your practical experience and intelligence skills are so solid. You’ve been quite popular in the Bureau lately.”

Hearing this, Makima didn’t say much, just smiled modestly. Indeed, as the Instructor said, this beautiful newcomer was quite eye-catching in S.H.I.E.L.D., both in terms of work ability and appearance.

The Instructor continued asking: ”And the orphan you mentioned taking in during the Eastern European conflict, is that her?”

”Yes.” Makima stood there, calmly presenting the fabricated identity information she had Sitwell create: ”I dug her out of the ruins, taught her some skills to survive, but this child is too young and has a rather solitary personality.”

”Now that I’ve joined S.H.I.E.L.D., I think this should be the most suitable place for her.”

The Instructor nodded, showing understanding.

In S.H.I.E.L.D., such a background wasn’t rare; it was practically standard... Many excellent Agents were like that, just like Reze’s cheap sister.

The Instructor turned to look at the girl who had been standing quietly in the corner of the office.

She was a young girl of not very tall stature.

She wore a slightly outdated hoodie for this era, over which was a brown short leather jacket. The pattern on its back was unique—a green unicorn. Below were white pants and tall boots suitable for activity.

Her golden hair was casually tied into a bun at the back, with a few stray strands hanging by her cheeks.

She wasn’t looking at the Instructor or Makima. Instead, she kept her head down, her sapphire-blue eyes staring blankly at the patterns on the floor, giving off a sense of alienation as if cut off from the World.

”She does seem to have... some personality issues...”

The Instructor commented quietly.

”But rest assured, children who have experienced that kind of war often have some psychological trauma.”

”It’s quite common at the Academy. We’ll do our best to help her.”

The Instructor didn’t refuse because of this. Instead, he picked up a pen and signed the enrollment application, remarking casually: ”As long as she passes the physical fitness and combat tests, we’ll accept her. But let me be clear upfront.”

”The training here can be deadly. I hope your ’adopted daughter’ can endure it.”

The Instructor was quite decent. Looking at the girl’s slender and petite frame, his words held some concern.

”Don’t worry, she’ll be fine.”

Makima said with a smile.

Sumire was quite confident about this so-called physical fitness and combat test.

If nothing else, her new girl was top-notch in this aspect, truly specializing in her field... After all, she was a human weapon born for this, and also Sumire’s fifth Incarnation—
