Beast Taming: Reincarnated With The Ultimate Bond System!

Chapter 35: Chapter : 35 : Fluffynugget’s Entered The Battle Field!

Aiden barely had time to blink.

”MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII~!!!”

The Fluffnugget lunged again.

Not ran. Not hopped.

Fired.

Like a cannonball made of cuteness, destruction, and sugar.

”LY!” Aiden shouted, twisting his body and flipping her off him. She yelped as she hit the ground, and before her legs even landed fully, he grabbed her arm and yanked her up—dodging just as the beam scorched the stone they’d been lying on.

The heat rolled across his back.

Behind him, Luna dropped flat and grabbed Ivy, flipping her around mid-roll and tucking the smaller girl against her chest as she dove behind another broken column. She landed on her back, Ivy lying sprawled across her front like a flustered plush toy.

”O-Onee-chan!? That was scary and cute at the same time!”

”You’re welcome, pup. Now stay down.”

Aiden groaned as the dust settled, blinking away the glitter still shimmering in the air. He shifted slightly... and realized he wasn’t on the ground.

”Ngh!” Lysandra gasped, wind knocked from her chest.

No.

He was on someone.

Soft.

Warm.

Squishier than any battlefield should legally allow.

His eyes fluttered open—and met Lysandra’s.

She stared up at him, face frozen, pupils dilated. Her lips parted slightly, and for a solid second, neither of them breathed.

Aiden was straddling her hips, body pressed close.

Their faces were inches apart.

And then she felt it.

Her gaze dropped—slowly, as if terrified of what she’d find.

Her hands were resting on her chest.

No.

His hands.

Firmly cupping her breasts.

Right there. Full palm. Skin to cloth.

And not just resting—gripping.

Like he’d paid for the deluxe hold.

Her entire body locked up. Steam might as well have shot out of her ears. Her thighs squeezed together, toes curling inside her boots.

A little hiccup of sound escaped her throat. Her face turned such a vivid red, it could’ve summoned a fire elemental.

”L-Ly, you alright?” Aiden asked, still dazed, unaware of the absolute crime his hands were committing.

She tried to speak. Failed. Her throat made a noise like a dying kitten.

Then—barely above a whisper—she choked out, ”Y-Your hands...”

Aiden blinked, tilted his head... and looked down.

Time stopped.

His palms were latched onto her boobs like a man clinging to the last two apples in the apocalypse.

He froze.

His fingers twitched.

And he... squeezed.

Instinct.

Reflex.

Possibly divine sabotage.

A soft squish echoed between them like the slap of fate.

”HYIIIIII—!!!” Lysandra squealed, slapping both hands over her face, tears of humiliation forming in her eyes.

”What are you DOING!?” she wailed, voice several octaves higher than usual.

Aiden jerked back like he’d touched a holy relic and just got cursed. ”I—I didn’t mean to! I thought I was—!”

”YOU WERE GROPING ME!”

”Not on purpose!!”

”You squeezed!!”

”I PANICKED!”

”WHO PANICS AND SQUEEZES BREASTS!?”

”I DON’T KNOW, IT WAS A BAD INSTINCT!!”

Lysandra curled up on the ground, turning away, hiding her red face under her arms. ”I’m never showing my face again. Just leave me to die. Tell my kingdom I died in battle. Gloriously. Not like this!”

Before he could back off, another beam fired.

”Miiiiiiiiii~!!”

”GODDAMN IT!”

Aiden sprang into motion, grabbing Lysandra and sweeping her up bridal-style with the speed of a man fleeing divine punishment. Her arms reflexively wrapped around his neck.

”You keep touching places you shouldn’t!” Lysandra cried, voice breaking.

”Not the time, Princess!”

They darted left, dodging another explosion.

---

Across the battlefield, Luna leapt into the air, flipped backwards, and landed on a crumbling ledge with Ivy now securely clinging to her back like a koala. Ivy’s arms wrapped tightly around Luna’s neck, her cheek squished against Luna’s soft hair.

”O-Onee-chan, you smell like strawberries and victory...”

”That’s right. Now hold on tight, cutie. We’re going full throttle.”

Luna zig-zagged between rubble as Fluffnugget unleashed a squeaky barrage.

”Mii! Mii! Mii! Mii!”

Each one came with a burst of rainbow-glitter explosions that crumbled the plaza further.

---

Aiden skidded behind a column with Lysandra still in his arms. He was panting. Her face was redder than ever.

”You can put me down now,” she muttered.

”Right. Sorry.”

---

The bunny stopped bouncing.

Its tiny nose twitched.

Its glitter dimmed... just slightly.

Then it turned—slowly.

Toward Luna and Ivy.

Luna froze mid-sprint, her ears standing tall. Ivy clung to her back like a wide-eyed plushie.

”...It’s staring at us,” Luna whispered.

Ivy peeked over her shoulder. ”It’s so adorable...”

The bunny wiggled once. Its cheeks puffed. A little sparkle popped out like a hiccup.

”...OH MY GOD,” Luna gasped. ”IT HICCUPS GLITTER.”

Ivy’s eyes sparkled. ”It’s like... a walking puppy.”

The bunny hopped once.

Twice.

On the third hop, it spun in the air—sparkles trailing behind it like a magical meteor—and fired a tiny pink energy puff that slammed into a crumbling wall nearby.

BOOOOM!

Glitter and rainbow shards exploded in every direction.

Luna yelped and flipped backward with Ivy still on her back.

”W-Whoa!!”

”THAT WAS AMAZING!!” Ivy squealed. ”Onee-chan, did you see the trail?! It made a rainbow!”

”It weaponizes cute,” Luna said, eyes wide in awe. ”It’s not even attacking. It’s performing!”

The bunny landed.

Its ears perked at the sound of praise.

Then its cheeks began to glow—faint, but visible.

Ivy gasped again. ”It blushed. Onee-Chan, it blushed.”

Luna clutched her chest like she’d been stabbed in the heart. ”It’s the most precious thing I’ve ever seen. I’m gonna cry.”

”It’s like someone stuffed a cloud with sugar and made it sentient,” Ivy whispered.

”AND THEN TAUGHT IT MURDER.”

”AND IT DOESN’T EVEN KNOW IT’S MURDERING.”

”IT THINKS IT’S GIVING HUGS!”

The bunny wiggled again, its sparkle aura growing stronger.

A soft rumble echoed around them.

”...Wait,” Ivy whispered, blinking. ”Is it... glowing more?”

They both turned toward it again.

Ivy cupped her hands around her mouth. ”YOU’RE THE CUTEST THING EVER!”

Luna followed suit. ”YOU’RE SO FLUFFY I WANNA NAME MY FIRST CHILD AFTER YOU!”

The bunny shuddered.

Its sparkle aura exploded outward in a pulse of rainbow energy.

And then...

It turned.

Toward Aiden and Lysandra.

Luna blinked. ”Wait... uh-oh.”
