Beast Taming: Reincarnated With The Ultimate Bond System!

Chapter 18: Chapter : 18 : The Hobgoblin Nation – Kingdom Chugh

Inside the Lavish Dining Hall of the Hobgoblin Royal Palace

A grand feast was spread across the long, polished table, where plates stacked high with roasted meats, goblets overflowing with wine, and golden trays of exotic fruits lay untouched. Despite the abundance of food, the room carried a filthy stench, both from the hobgoblins gathered and the disgusting atmosphere they exuded.

At the head of the table, the Hobgoblin King—a massive, battle-scarred brute with **dark green skin and jagged teeth—**sat upon his grotesquely decorated stone throne. His beady yellow eyes gleamed with an insatiable hunger, not just for food, but for conquest.

And sitting across from him was his equally revolting son—the Hobgoblin Prince.

Ah yes, the idiot prince.

A creature so moronic, so perverted, and so delusional, that one might question whether he was truly the son of a king, or if the gods had simply made a mistake.

This fool, this disgusting creature, leaned forward, his thick lips curled into a vile grin.

”Father,” he began, his voice drenched in twisted excitement, ”once we take over the Grimclaw Kingdom and kill that wretched goblin king, Princess Lysandra has to be mine.”

There it was—his obsession.

His sick fantasies.

He wasn’t concerned about the war, the bloodshed, or the conquest. No, this fool only cared about claiming Lysandra like some trophy.

The Hobgoblin King, a man equally revolting, leaned back and laughed, his thick belly shaking.

”Yes, my son,” he chuckled, licking the grease off his fingers, ”you can have her.”

And then—because one vile statement was never enough—he added with a disgusting grin:

”In fact, you can have all the goblin bitches you like after we take over the kingdom.”

The prince’s eyes gleamed with perverted delight.

”Thank you, dear father.”

His nauseating smirk widened as his twisted thoughts ran wild.

”Just thinking about the things I’ll do to that little princess... it makes me all hard.”

His greedy hands trembled, his thick lips quivered, and his bulging eyes twitched with unspeakable fantasies.

If the gods had any mercy, they would strike him down immediately.

But, unfortunately, the fool still breathed.

And so, with his brain full of filth and his heart void of intelligence, he returned to the conversation.

”By the way, Father,” he mused, ”what happened to that idiot orc I sent to the Grimclaw Kingdom? Hasn’t he returned yet?”

The king grunted. ”Hmm... yes, it has been some time. He should’ve reported back by now.”

Just then—

BANG!

The large wooden doors swung open violently, revealing a breathless hobgoblin foot soldier.

The poor creature staggered into the room, panting heavily, his armor covered in sweat.

His fear was evident.

His legs trembled.

His face was pale.

Yet, instead of sensing the danger, the idiot prince immediately snapped:

”HOW DARE YOU INTERRUPT US? CAN’T YOU SEE WE’RE EATING?”

As if this walking trash pile had any class or dignity to begin with.

The Hobgoblin King, however, raised a hand, signaling for silence.

The idiot prince huffed, readjusting his clothes as if he had been terribly inconvenienced.

”Speak up!” The king’s deep voice rumbled through the hall. ”If this isn’t worth my time, you know what will happen to you.”

The foot soldier dropped to his knees, prostrating in fear.

His breath still ragged, he spoke:

”M-My king... t-the orc you sent...”

His voice wavered.

”H-He has been killed!”

Silence.

Then—

”THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING?!” The Hobgoblin King roared. ”DON’T JOKE ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT!”

The Idiot prince’s jaw dropped. His face twitched in disbelief before he laughed nervously.

”Hah! You must be wasted! Who could possibly be that strong? No mere goblin could kill our orc!”

The foot soldier shook his head frantically.

”No, my liege! I swear it! We received reports from our scouts who were stationed nearby!”

The king smashed his copper goblet against the table, sending water splashing everywhere.

”WHO WAS IT? HOW MANY ATTACKED?!”

The foot soldier flinched.

He opened his mouth—

And hesitated.

His body visibly trembled as if just saying the name would bring doom upon him.

The idiot prince scowled.

”WHY ARE YOU SHAKING? JUST SPIT IT OUT ALREADY!”

The foot soldier gulped hard.

Then, with great difficulty, he finally uttered:

”I-It was... a single human.”

The room went silent.

The king froze.

The idiot prince’s expression contorted into one of pure disbelief.

Then—

”RIDICULOUS!” he shrieked, slamming his fist onto the table. ”WHERE DID THEY GET THIS HUMAN FROM?!”

The foot soldier lowered his gaze.

”W-We don’t have many details, but...” he hesitated again before forcing the words out.

”He is there... to defeat us.”

And then—

”And he is going to marry Princess Lysandra after he does it.”

The idiot prince stopped breathing.

His face twitched.

His teeth clenched.

His mind went blank.

A single vein bulged in his forehead.

Then—

”HUH?!”

The rage that filled him was horrific.

The foot soldier flinched, his entire body shaking in fear.

”P-Prince... please... I only relay what was reported—!”

But the idiot prince wasn’t listening.

His mind was a whirlwind of pure, uncontrollable jealousy.

”THAT BASTARD! SOME FILTHY HUMAN DARES TO TOUCH MY LYSANDRA?!”

”HE THINKS HE CAN STEAL HER FROM ME?!”

”I’LL RIP HIM APART! I’LL CRUSH HIM! I’LL TEAR HIM LIMB FROM LIMB!”

His bulging, perverted eyes twitched uncontrollably.

His breathing turned erratic.

His **twisted fantasies had shattered—**and in their place was nothing but fury.

”Prince!”

The Hobgoblin King’s deep voice cut through his madness.

”CALM. DOWN.”

The idiot prince fumed.

His hands trembled with rage.

His face was twisted in hatred.

But after a few seconds, he finally collapsed back into his seat, still seething.

The king exhaled deeply, his mind already racing.

He turned to the foot soldier.

”I want every piece of information you can find about this... human.”

His voice was calm, but dangerous.

The foot soldier raised his head. ”Yes, my king!” Then, he turned and ran out of the room.

For a long moment, there was only silence.

Then, the idiot prince slammed his fist on the table.

”MARRY MY LYSANDRA?! HE WILL DIE. THAT BASTARD!”

The king’s lips curled into a wicked grin.

”Yes... he will die.”

His ominous laughter filled the hall, echoing into the darkness.

Inside Aiden and Luna’s Bedroom

Aiden lay on the massive king-sized bed, staring at the ceiling, his mind a whirlwind of conflicting thoughts.

On one side of him, Ivy, the young goblin girl, slept peacefully, her small hand resting atop his. Her crimson eyes were closed, her breathing soft and rhythmic.

On the other side of Ivy lay Luna, her blue eyes filled with warmth as she gazed at Aiden over the little goblin between them.

Aiden sighed internally.

”How did this even happen?”

He glanced at Ivy again, his fingers brushing gently over her silky black hair. This girl, who had once lived a life of suffering, was now his tamed beast, his family.

The thought stirred something deep within him.

This felt... different.

Warm.

Comforting.

Aiden never imagined that bonding with a beast would mean more than just gaining strength. Yet, with Ivy and Luna by his side, it no longer felt like just an adventure—it felt like home.

Luna shifted slightly, drawing his attention.

Her wolf ears twitched, her fluffy tail curled tightly around her legs, betraying her embarrassment.

Their eyes met.

And at that moment, both of them blushed.

Because, in all honesty, this looked like a family.

With Ivy snuggled between them, sleeping so peacefully, it felt like Aiden and Luna were her parents.

A husband and wife protecting their child.

The thought was embarrassing yet... strangely, neither of them hated it.

Luna bit her lip before whispering.

”Master...”

Aiden hummed in response. ”Hmm?”

She hesitated for a second before continuing, her voice barely above a whisper.

”Isn’t this like she’s our kid? And we’re her parents?”

Aiden turned to look at her, blinking in surprise.

Seeing her red cheeks and bashful expression, he realized she had been thinking the same thing as him.

He let out a small chuckle.

”Yeah...” he admitted, ”it does kinda feel that way.”

Luna smiled softly, running her fingers through Ivy’s black locks with motherly tenderness.

Then—

Aiden smirked.

”Well...” he murmured playfully, ”I had different ideas for tonight with you, but this isn’t bad either.”

The moment the words left his lips, Luna’s face turned scarlet.

Her wolf ears jerked upright, and her tail twitched violently.

”M-Master!” she hissed, throwing him an indignant glare.

Aiden chuckled. ”What? It’s true.”

Luna pouted, crossing her arms, though the blush on her face didn’t fade.

Aiden reached over and booped her nose.

”Relax, Luna.” His voice was gentle. ”I’m just teasing you, maybe?”

She huffed, though a small smile betrayed her frustration.

Still, she gazed down at Ivy, who nestled deeper into the blankets.

”Even if we didn’t plan for it,” Luna whispered, ”I think I like this...”

Aiden softened at her words.

”Me too.”

For a while, neither of them spoke.

They simply lay there, listening to Ivy’s soft breathing, the quiet crackle of the fireplace filling the silence.

Aiden turned slightly and brushed Ivy’s bangs away from her forehead.

The little goblin murmured in her sleep, snuggling closer to him.

”Onii-chan...” she murmured.

Aiden’s heart clenched.

”Damn it... she’s too cute.”

Luna giggled. ”Looks like she’s really attached to you, Master.”

Aiden nodded. ”She’s been through a lot. It’s only natural.”

Luna hummed in agreement before curling up closer, resting her head on the pillow beside Ivy’s.

Her blue eyes softened.

”Master...” she whispered.

Aiden looked at her.

”Hmm?”

Luna hesitated before reaching across Ivy’s sleeping form, taking Aiden’s hand in hers.

Her fingers were warm. Soft.

Her wolf ears twitched nervously.

”Promise me...” she murmured. ”Promise me that we’ll always stay together like this.”

Aiden blinked.

Then, his lips curled into a gentle smile.

”I promise.”

Luna’s fingers tightened around his.

Her tail wagged slightly.

And in that moment—under the warmth of the blankets, beside the ones he cared for—Aiden knew this was where he belonged.

No matter what dangers lay ahead—this was his family.

And he would protect them with everything he had.
