Chapter 2998: Chapter 1217: Soul Restriction (2)

It was imposed by the black-clad figure using soul power, therefore after Mo Jiuli cracked the other’s restriction, the soul power of the restriction was also absorbed by Mo Jiuli. So, Mo Jiuli not only didn’t feel exhausted but actually felt quite relaxed, although coming into contact with the other’s soul restriction, Mo Jiuli did not immediately administer the antidote to awaken them.

Mo Jiuli directly continued to crack the restriction within the second soul, spending the time of an incense stick burning, and after lifting the restriction within the second old man’s soul, Mo Jiuli finally retracted her Divine Sense and carefully checked the bodies of both old men, discovering that their spiritual power was indeed sealed by poison, which is why they allowed the restrictions to be placed within their souls...

Mo Jiuli merely awakened the elixir in two old men and administered it to them, as for the sealed spiritual power, it did not end!

Not long after, the two old men on the ground woke up one after another, opening their eyes and upon seeing Dean Lin and others, were surprised, then anxiously asked: ”Dean, how come you all were controlled too! It’s our fault for not being able to deliver the news, otherwise, you wouldn’t have...”

”Alright, we are fine and not controlled, the soul restrictions on you two are also lifted, speak up, what’s really going on?” Dean Lin looked at the two and asked.

The two old men were stunned upon hearing this, only then did they rise and carefully sense, indeed finding their soul’s restriction was gone, which relieved them finally. But thinking about the rest of the Academy, the slightly plump old man looked at Dean Lin and sighed, saying: ”Ah... Dean, don’t mention it, it’s a long story...”

Mo Jiuli and the others then knew what was happening, it turns out that more than a year ago, the Academy’s elders and disciples were all poisoned overnight. By the next day when they woke up, they discovered not only had their spiritual power vanished, but they couldn’t even move...

Everyone was gathered in the Academy playground, some sat on the ground, some were lying unconscious, then some black-clad figures appeared, they said nothing and directly crushed an elixir in front of them, next everyone lost consciousness...

When they woke again, their soul seas were filled with soul restrictions imposed by the other side, forcing them to only obey the other’s orders. Although the sleeping drug wore off, their spiritual power was sealed, without spiritual power, they were like trash and could only roam around the Academy as the black-clad figures required, essentially each one was like a cripple...

”Did they have you do anything?” Mo Jiuli looked at the old man and asked.

”Nothing specific, just every once in a while, they gather everyone together, then they just stare at us, and after a while, let us go back to where we were, the Academy’s disciples were slightly better, they just stay in the places they usually do!

But, we elders must act as if it’s business as usual, doing what we usually do, but normally we have spiritual power, now with nothing we can’t do anything, so we just make a show of it!” The old man said helplessly.

”Did those people mention anything they wanted to do?” Mo Jiuli asked.

”No, but once the two of us unintentionally overheard them mentioning something about Tianji Pavilion and the Huan Clan, later we were discovered and didn’t hear any more!” The old man thought for a while and said.

”I have already lifted the soul restrictions on you two.”
