Chapter 2580: Chapter 798: Uh... That Won’t Happen Either

”The details are something you can gradually understand later! The remaining simple precautions are all here. You two just need to take a look at them...” Elder Shiqi said to Mo Jiuli and Di Minghan, handing a jade slip to Mo Jiuli.

”So at Yuhai Academy, do we rely entirely on our own cultivation?” After listening, Mo Jiuli looked at Elder Shiqi and asked.

”Of course not. Every new disciple who arrives at the academy has to work hard on academy tasks for the first three months to earn enough points. While you are doing these academy tasks, the mentors at the academy will be observing you. If any mentor takes a liking to you, they will extend an olive branch to you. You can agree if you feel it’s right, or refuse directly if not! Once you’ve chosen a mentor, they’ll give you some points, and you can continue living in this Level 10 area or choose to challenge other areas. The primary rule is that if you want to challenge someone or do something within the academy, it must be after three months or after having a mentor, otherwise, you aren’t qualified to challenge!” Elder Shiqi explained to Mo Jiuli and Di Minghan.

”So, for the first three months, we can only stay here!” Mo Jiuli said upon hearing this.

”That’s correct,” Elder Shiqi replied.

”Alright, we understand. Thank you, Elder Shiqi!” Mo Jiuli said upon hearing this.

”You’re welcome. If you have any questions, feel free to inquire at the academy’s Elders’ Hall. You should remember where it is from earlier. If there’s nothing else, I’ll be going back now...” Elder Shiqi said.

”Alright, take care, Elder Shiqi!” Mo Jiuli responded.

After Elder Shiqi left, Mo Jiuli and Di Minghan sat in the small courtyard and went through the jade slip left by Elder Shiqi. To their surprise, it contained records of the factions within the academy, totaling nearly a hundred when combined, which took Mo Jiuli and Di Minghan by surprise...

Based on the numbers listed, the smallest faction has over fifty people, and the largest reaches over a thousand. There are also a few who haven’t joined any factions, and some freshmen with less than three months. Mo Jiuli roughly calculated that currently, Yuhai Academy has at least over 40,000 people, which is quite a lot for an academy...

No wonder the jade slip mentioned that every day disciples fall, and every day new disciples join, but the elimination rate and those leaving the academy almost balance the number of new disciples joining; otherwise, the numbers would fluctuate more significantly...

Every disciple joining Yuhai Academy can freely leave within the first three months. Disciples with mentors must have their mentor’s approval to leave, and before leaving, they must face any pending challenges and completed tasks. There are no other requirements, making Yuhai Academy relatively humane...

”By the way, since you previously offended the Zongzheng Family, you need to be extra careful when you leave the academy for missions. If you get injured or fall outside the academy after taking on a mission, the academy won’t be held responsible for anything!” Elder Shiqi returned to say this to Mo Jiuli and Di Minghan.

”Does that mean if we get bullied within the academy, the academy will intervene?” Mo Jiuli asked curiously.

”Uh... that won’t be the case either,
