Chapter 812: Chapter 113: The Divine Doctor Sect’s Concerns

Chapter 113

”Great Elder, it’s been just over a month, and a third of those who entered have already fallen! Should we?” one of the old men in grey clothes said, looking at a white-clothed old man beside him.

”It’s fine. The medicine on their bodies will wear off in six hours! Originally, we had drugged them because we were worried that some would try to game the system and find a place to stop and not move forward. Now almost everyone dares not find a place to rest and stops moving, straining to reach the inner area, hoping they can find the location mentioned by the Vice Alliance leader...” the white-clothed old man said.

This time, the ten elders who came out from the Divine Doctor Sect were precisely the Ten Great Elders of the Outer Sect. The three people inside the tent responsible for monitoring the Light Curtain were the Great Elder of the Outer Sect, Second Elder, and Third Elder...

Every two months, three elders would monitor the Light Curtain inside this tent. Now it had been over a month since they arrived at the Demon Forest...

Once another month passed, it would be the turn of the Fourth Elder, Fifth Elder, and Sixth Elder to come in to monitor the Light Curtain! After all, although the Light Curtain is big, there are a lot of people inside it, so they must use their Divine Sense to divide and clearly see each person’s location...

Otherwise, at a glance, it is simply a dizzying sight...

”Three Elders...” Just then, a disciple of the Divine Doctor Sect called out from outside the tent.

”Come in,” the Third Elder said upon hearing this.

”Greetings to the Three Elders!” the disciple said as he entered and gave a formal bow.

”What is it?” the Third Elder asked.

”Reporting to the Three Elders, we have discovered on our patrols that recently, people from many families and forces have arrived at the Demon Forest from all directions! Among them, there are many families using Teleportation Scrolls to enter directly into the Demon Forest,” the disciple reported truthfully.

”What? How could this be? Do we know why they have come to the Demon Forest?” exclaimed the Third Elder in surprise.

”That’s still unknown,” the disciple replied.

”Keep an eye out, and you may go now,” the Third Elder said, looking at the other two old men.

”Yes, Third Elder!” After speaking, the disciple withdrew...

”Great Elder, what are your thoughts?” the Third Elder asked, looking towards the white-clothed old man.

”It is indeed strange. The purpose of our visit here, aside from the ten of us, is unknown to anyone else! Why would those people come here?” the Great Elder said, also puzzled.

”I think we should awaken the Fourth and Fifth Elders and have them investigate. After all, this matter is no small concern, and ordinary disciples might be discovered before they even get close,” suggested the Second Elder in grey clothes.

”Good idea. Third Elder, go wake them up and call them in for a discussion!” the Great Elder said, nodding in agreement.

”Understood.” With that, the Third Elder left.

Soon afterward, with the Third Elder included, a total of eight old men entered...

”Please have a seat. There’s something I need to discuss with you. The disciple has just reported...” The Great Elder glanced at everyone and directly cut to the chase, repeating what had been reported.

”We will follow the Great Elder’s orders!” The others furrowed their brows as they spoke.

They too sensed the gravity of the situation. If those people had the same goal as them, that would be troublesome! Thus, none of them had any objections and decided to follow the Great Elder’s plan to go out and investigate...

With no objections from the group, the Great Elder glanced at them and said, ”Then, go. But remember, no matter what you hear, don’t act rashly; safety comes first! Retreat immediately if you encounter danger. You must not let anything happen to you, nor should you be discovered by anyone...”
