Chapter 1260: Chapter 545: Heavenly Dao Retreats! (Part 2)

”Daoist!”

Zhen Yuanzi suddenly said, ”Not long ago, His Highness visited my Wuzhuang Temple.”

Upon hearing this.

”Did His Highness entrust something to you?” Queen Mother of the West immediately asked, with a hint of curiosity in her eyes.

Zhen Yuanzi looked at Queen Mother of the West and smiled slightly.

Then he glanced around, and to be cautious, he waved his hand, instantly isolating the surroundings with a mana barrier.

This barrier, like an invisible protective forbidden, emitted a faint glow, preventing any possibility of information leakage.

”His Highness intends to divide the Buddhist Sect. He is already planning and has set the strategy.”

”I intend to implement this with you, Daoist.” Zhen Yuanzi said solemnly, with a very cautious tone.

”Divide the Buddhist Sect?”

Queen Mother of the West looked shocked, her first reaction being that this was impossible.

”How can this be? The Buddhist Sect has existed for so many years, evolving from the Western Teachings to the current Buddhist Sect. They seem harmonious and have shared interests. It’s not so easy to divide them.”

Queen Mother of the West shook her head, showing disbelief.

”Don’t you know who Dipankara is, Daoist?”

Zhen Yuanzi said with a smile, a hint of profundity in his smile, seemingly reminiscing about Dipankara’s various past events.

”Dipankara?”

Queen Mother of the West pondered for a moment and slowly said, ”He is someone who forgets righteousness for profit.”

”When the Saint Era came, he didn’t hesitate to lower his status, first joining the Chan Sect, then going to the Western Teachings, completely unrighteous.”

”Previously, when Duobao hadn’t transformed into Buddha, Dipankara was in charge of the Buddhist Sect. After Duobao transformed, he was forced to step down.”

”I think he must be discontent at heart.”

The characters of Dipankara, after the Primordial Divine Enthronement, perhaps countless beings aren’t aware, but among the Great Divine Ability Practitioners of the same era as him, almost none are unaware of his character.

Queen Mother of the West spoke of Dipankara with disdain in her tone.

”And there’s Maitreya.”

Zhen Yuanzi continued, ”He is a disciple of the Western Saint. Though skilled in Buddhist Law, he ultimately holds the position of Future Buddha.”

”Duobao’s promotion of the calamity is primarily to prosper the Buddhist Sect and gain Merit and Qi Fortune, but crucially, he wants to maintain his position as Present Buddha, continuing to enjoy the blessings of Buddhist Qi Fortune.”

”Thus, the Buddhist Sect is not as unified as it seems; they each have their own intentions.”

Zhen Yuanzi’s words demonstrated clear insight into the Buddhist Sect’s situation. Meanwhile, he gently stroked his beard, appearing very confident.

”Yet even so.”

Queen Mother of the West said seriously, ”Though their thoughts differ, it’s not easy to divide them.”

”His Highness’s plan seems difficult to realize.”

In response.

Zhen Yuanzi smiled.

”If there is something that the Three Ancestors of the Buddhist Sect cannot refuse, wouldn’t that work?”

Zhen Yuanzi showed a cold smile.

Though usually seen as a person of high moral standing, at this moment, this cold smile revealed his determination to divide the Buddhist Sect.

In fact, he welcomed the idea of confronting the Buddhist Sect.

This was not only because he had now pledged allegiance to the Qin, but also because of his past friendship with Red Cloud.

In the past, Red Cloud granted his Saint Position to the Western Saint, but they not only did not reciprocate, they schemed to harm Red Cloud just to avoid the massive Cause and Effect of inheriting a Saint Position. If the Buddhist Sect could be destroyed, it would undoubtedly be a great opportunity for revenge on behalf of Red Cloud. Each time he thought of Red Cloud, Zhen Yuanzi’s heart filled with anger and sorrow.

”Something that the Three Ancestors of the Buddhist Sect cannot refuse?” Queen Mother of the West heard this and her heart stirred, suddenly raising her head with a startled look: ”Could it be the Hongmeng Purple Qi created by His Highness in the past?”

At this moment.

Queen Mother of the West had a realization.

Involving Hongmeng Purple Qi, it caught widespread attention when it first appeared in the Mortal World.

Later, many scrutinized the details, quickly thinking it was Zhao Feng’s doing.

Now, with Zhen Yuanzi’s reminder, Queen Mother of the West immediately understood the connection.

”Indeed.”

Zhen Yuanzi nodded with a smile, his expression confident, seemingly approving of the plan.

”We already fooled Hao Tian once. He hasn’t appeared for years, perhaps having been backfired by that fake Hongmeng Purple Qi.”

”Expecting to fool the Three Ancestors of the Buddhist Sect again is nearly impossible.” Queen Mother of the West said, shaking her head in concern.

After all, the Hongmeng Purple Qi affair was performed once before.

”The past His Highness and the present His Highness have vastly different strengths.”

”Daoist, do not misunderstand.”

”His Highness personally designed it; this time the Hongmeng Purple Qi will be a genuine Hongmeng Purple Qi, except it will not sanctify someone, its other effects will be real.” Zhen Yuanzi explained with a smile, his gaze filled with absolute confidence in Zhao Feng.

”What should we do then?” Queen Mother of the West immediately asked, curious.

”Let the message spread; say that after the great calamity, a Saint position will appear.”

”Make sure this spreads before the calamity begins, so everyone firmly believes.”

”Furthermore, ensure the Heavenly Mechanism contains this message too, to bolster credibility.” Zhen Yuanzi said at once, his heart already planning this thoroughly.

”Spreading the message is simple, doing it without traces is easy too. But altering the Heavenly Mechanism is nearly impossible.”

”After all, the Heavenly Mechanism is the manifestation of the great momentum of the Heavenly Dao, presented through Heavenly Dao Rules.”

Queen Mother of the West pondered for a moment and said slowly, frowning with solemnity, fully aware that changing the Heavenly Mechanism is no easy task.

”We just need to spread the message; as for the Heavenly Mechanism, His Highness will have a way.”

Zhen Yuanzi smiled faintly, confidently declaring.

Evidently, afterward, Zhen Yuanzi and Zhao Feng discussed in depth, though these matters remain very secretive.

Clearly.

He had no doubts about Zhao Feng’s ability to affect the Heavenly Mechanism.

”His Highness can even influence the Heavenly Mechanism?” Upon hearing this, Queen Mother of the West appeared astonished, with eyes full of disbelief.

”Therefore.” Zhen Yuanzi said resolutely, ”Allegiance to the Qin is the right path for us.”

”In the future, a Saint Position is possible.”

For Zhen Yuanzi at this moment.

He had already developed a strong sense of identification with allegiance to the Qin, particularly as Zhao Feng had explicitly promised him a Saint Position in the future.

For Zhen Yuanzi, the irresistible lure of a Saint Position was enough to make him commit everything to the Qin.

After all, who could refuse such a great opportunity for a Saint Position?

”Good! Since His Highness and Daoist have already set plans against the Buddhist Sect, West Kunlun will naturally do its utmost to assist.”

Seeing Zhen Yuanzi speak to this extent, Queen Mother of the West stated immediately, demonstrating equal determination.

Since they’d already aligned with the Qin, she naturally wished to contribute to the Qin.

”Hmm.”

Zhen Yuanzi nodded, beginning to contemplate how to disperse the message subtly.

”By the way.”

Queen Mother of the West suddenly recalled something, saying, ”When I was in West Kunlun, I heard that those Chan Sect members from East Kunlun were continuously gathering.”

”Almost all former Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect are assembling, seemingly for His Highness.”

”The Four Immortal Slaying Swords appear to have been gathered by His Highness.”

Queen Mother of the West stated gravely, with a hint of concern in her tone.

Evidently.

This stemmed from worry about the Chan Sect against Zhao Feng or against the Qin.

After all, the Chan Sect’s strength is considerable.

”Indeed.” Zhen Yuanzi nodded, displaying a look of reverence: ”The Slaying Immortal Sword Formation has been gathered by His Highness, the former Primordial First Fierce Array, potentially reemerging at any time.”

Amid his words.

Zhen Yuanzi also harbored fear and awe for the Slaying Immortal Sword Formation.

”The Slaying Immortal Sword Formation, once under Tongtian Saint’s control, had immense power, making even Saints wary.”

”Unexpectedly, His Highness has restored it.”

”Perhaps in this era where Saints do not appear, His Highness’s strength is the strongest.”

Queen Mother of the West also spoke with deep reverence, receiving Zhen Yuanzi’s affirmative answer.

Zhen Yuanzi smiled slightly, without speaking.

After all, this might already be an indisputable fact.

If the former Hao Tian faced Zhao Feng again, there might be only the path of demise left.
