Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Just when Sylphy and the others believed victory was within reach and Beelzebub would finally evolve, everything went horribly wrong. The Demonic Spirit Tree—the Alchemy Spirit born from Beelzebub’s forced repair evolution—was suddenly healed and possessed by an even more sinister power. A figure descended from the skies above, granting it overwhelming strength, fully restoring it, and evolving it into a far more powerful Treant-like being.

At the same time, two more terrifying entities appeared without warning. The Second Boss of the Dungeon, the Infernal Treant Queen, smashed through the Evolution Formation, shattering Beelzebub’s evolution and sending everyone flying. She overflowed with vast quantities of miasma and demonic dark energy fused with her overwhelming spiritual power.

Beelzebub’s evolution was interrupted once again—this time leaving him powerless to do anything but watch everything they had built burn and explode. His evolving body was engulfed by infernal, miasmic flames as he and the others were hurled through the air, crashing into the scorched ground and burning forest.

Meanwhile, Sylphy could not stop them because she had been immediately located and attacked by a being she could never have predicted. Her Heavenly Eyes failed to see him coming, and she felt something interfering with her system, opposing her own internal powers.

Before she could react, his crystalline hand pierced her chest, brutally tearing out her precious Spirit Heart. Her eyes widened in shock as searing pain erupted throughout her body. She screamed in utter agony and disbelief. A strange, alien energy flooded her ruined form, nearly completely blocking the power of the system and Alice herself.

”Aaaaaaagghh!”

Unable to maintain any composure as her soul and body were horrifically tortured, Sylphy screamed in terror and vomited blood. She bled from every pore while the entity stared at her with star-like eyes glowing within his transparent, glass-like body.

”Weak. Utterly pathetic in every way. Is this the creature that has been threatening my master and giving him headaches all this time? A pitiful, aberrant thing at best. A Mana battery, nothing more.”

”Ugh...! W-Who are you?!”

Sylphy screamed as her power surged wildly. Her auras fused together in a desperate explosion. Though her skills refused to respond, she drew every ounce of absorbed power into her body and soul, transforming into her strongest form—the radiant rainbow and golden Dragonoid she had used when sparring against her brother days earlier.

”SCARLET! SAPPHIRE!”

She summoned their full might as both weapons erupted with dozens, hundreds, and thousands of attacks at once. Even while held captive by the entity, she unleashed everything she had.

”HAAAAHHH!”

Concentrated bursts of rainbow energy bombarded the entity in relentless explosions, each strike aimed at his vitals and soul. At the same time, Sylphy rained down titanic meteors of every element upon all her foes.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

Aquarina, caught off guard by the Demonic Spirit Tree’s transformation into a Tier 10 Monster, saw the explosions and believed Sylphy had the situation under control.

She was terribly wrong.

”Utterly pathetic and pitiful. It seems my master had no reason to worry about such a being. To think he even considered coming himself when I could handle this so easily.”

”Eh?”

Sylphy’s eyes widened in growing despair. All her magic, all her so-called world-breaking attacks, all her flair, all her stats and powers...

They were meaningless.

The figure continued to pierce her chest, clutching her Spirit Heart tightly in his hand. Her blood kept pouring out as constant waves of agony spread through her body.

Massive cracks spread across her soul. Sylphy felt the very hole within her soul—the source of her infinite mana—being seized by an alien authority.

”W-What’s happening?! Why isn’t it working— Aaagh...!”

”Is it not obvious? The difference in power is simply too vast. From the very beginning, I was created to kill you. All this time, you believed you were strong. You thought you stood at the top of the world. You assumed you could do whatever you pleased.”

CRASH!

”Nnngghh?!”

Sylphy’s Spirit Heart shattered into thousands of pieces and scattered across the ground below. She felt an instant, devastating disconnection from all her spirit energy.

”Utterly pathetic. You are nothing but a fool, a jester, a clown dancing for our amusement. You entertained us with your silly quips and antics, foolish enough to believe you mattered. In this vast world and the endless universe beyond your comprehension, what are you but a tiny speck of dust? You are nothing.”

”SHUT UP!!!”

Sylphy’s aura exploded outward, forcefully pushing the entity back. A titanic dragon surged into existence from her boundless aura, distorting and shattering space itself.

”I AM DUST?! WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!”

In her fury, five gigantic heads emerged and fired destructive beams that merged into one devastating blast. The entity swiftly teleported behind her, his hand piercing straight through her skull in a single, merciless swipe.

CRASH!

”S-Sylphy...?”

Aquarina’s eyes widened in horror as she watched the entity pierce her girlfriend’s forehead and tear her skull apart. Brains, blood, and gore exploded outward.

”...”

”...”

”...”

”...”

”As I said, nothing but a pathetic thing. You have never faced a true god, yet you believed you could challenge us? Truly an entertaining creature, but oh so fragile...”

The entity held Sylphy’s torn head in his hands, her eyes bulging before his sharp crystalline claws as he laughed. He gripped her body and ripped it in two with horrifying ease, as if tearing paper. Blood and guts splattered across the ground below.

Scarlet and Sapphire were caught in his fury. The moment he seized them; both weapons exploded into tiny metal fragments before they could utter a word.

As he dusted off his hands, the entity gazed at everyone with his twisting, glowing star-like eyes.

”You who witness what has become of your master have seen the true weakness of her existence,” he declared, holding a mass of divinity in his hands. ”The blessings the gods bestowed upon her—I shall claim them for myself.”

He implanted the divinity into his chest, growing even stronger. His nebula-like body overflowed with fiery red and golden energy, exploding with immense power.

”Precognition and Sun-based power boosts. Pitifully weak, yet they will make a fine offering for my master once this is over. Her soul has been shattered as well.”

He scattered her soul fragments across the entire dungeon. Everyone watched in stunned silence as despair, disbelief, agony, and horror consumed them completely.

”And this... is mine.”

He revealed a small black hole surrounded by Sylphy’s remaining soul fragments, which he had already refined into a Divine Soul Treasure brimming with endless mana.

”This Mana Battery is the final ingredient we need. Now, what else do we have here? It seems a bunch of weaklings. Perhaps you too will finally understand the weakness you never truly perceived until this moment. When everything is destroyed, you have nothing. You are nothing. This is a war of gods, not of mortals pretending to be gods. You made a grave mistake by provoking my master’s fury. As the strongest Evil God—one who even threatens the Seats themselves—what else can you do but cower in despair and die in agony? Prepare yourselves. I will show no mercy.”

As his words fell, everyone witnessing the scene fell deathly silent. They finally realized this was no dream, no nightmare, no hallucination.

This was reality.

Sylphy was dead.
