Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

—–

“You sure love giving yourself a lot of credit, huh?” Aquarina sighed, crossing her arms. “Oh well, I’m glad you can feel something, we should train those powers together later though. Don’t you think?”

“I agree, it would be great… but right now we’re in quite the hurry. I’ll try practicing them as we fight whatever gets in the way,” nodded Pyuku.

“Well said!” Aquarina nodded. “For now, let’s… Ah, right!”

She quickly remembered all the blessings she gained, as she noticed several system notifications appearing in front of her.

Ding!

[A mysterious goddess has given you a powerful, stronger divine blessing carrying a piece of their soul within it!]

[The additional blessings have merged further with the [Blessing Sylph, Hero of Heavenly Eyes and Draconic Blaze] Blessing!]

[The [Blessing of Sylph, Hero of Heavenly Eyes and Draconic Blaze] Blessing has evolved into the [Divine Spiritual Blessing of Sylph, Heroic Divinity of Heavenly Sun and Thunder]!]

[Because of becoming the first wielder of this stronger, updated Blessing, you’ve received stronger additional bonuses as Sylph’s first ever Chosen Hero.]

[The position of Chosen Saintess is also available, if you desire to take it instead of the Choose Hero. There are certain differences between the two.]

“W-Wait, I am her Hero now?!”

Aquarina gasped, realizing that Sylphy had begun to step into a completely new realm altogether!

She could even choose a Hero or a Saintess with her Blessing, something amazing, that perhaps not even other Evil Gods could do exactly.

They could bless and give power to their blessed ones, but they would usually become Apostles, Priests, Cultists, or Followers.

However, a direct upgrade to a Chosen Hero or Chosen Saintess was… insane!

Even more now, as Aquarina realized it didn’t conflict at all with her previous blessings from the other Ocean Gods that had chosen her.

“W-Wait, what? Really?” Undine asked in disbelief.

“Yeah…” Aquarina nodded, gulping saliva. “This is honestly freaking amazing…”

“She can choose heroes?! Like the gods…?!” Pyuku was also in disbelief. “C-Can I become one?”

“I don’t think so…” Aquarina said. “It looks like I am the one carrying the main Divine Blessing right now… she said it could branch into my Familiars, but first… Um, System, show me the differences between Saintess and Hero.”

[Chosen Hero of Sylph, Heroic Divinity of Heavenly Sun and Thunder]

[You will mostly receive bonuses for your Physical Abilities and your Physique will grow much faster as a result. Your Skills will also improve faster, especially all Skills that are Combat-related.]

[As a Hero, you simply have to do Heroic things, vanquish evil, protect innocents, go on journeys to make the world a better place.]

[In exchange, you will be given rewards, skills, and more power. As you spread goodness and increase your God’s Faith little by little.]

[Chosen Saintess of Sylph, Heroic Divinity of Heavenly Sun and Thunder]

[Saints, unlike heroes, have a deeper connection with their Gods, and must pray to them constantly to maintain their divine blessings as strong as possible.]

[Your Magical Spells and Skills will become stronger, and your Magic Circle will grow much faster as well, you will be able to learn new Spells and Skills related to your Gods, and even support and protection abilities.]

[You will gain the power to temporarily summon your god’s avatar to help you battle powerful foes and inspire hope to people’s hearts, with an adequate cooldown and great cost, however.]

[You need to constantly spread the word about your gods to keep the bond between the two strong. Talking about them, their feats, who they are, and so on will increase Faith.]

Aquarina seemed mostly inclined to the Hero route at the beginning, as she read both paragraph after paragraph, she realized heroes had much simpler tasks and were a lot more carefree, they were even gifted items all the time and skills.

Their labor towards their gods was more physically intensive, and so they grew physically stronger rather than magically powerful.

The Saints were the complete opposites, they had to save people, bring hope to hearts, spread the word about their gods, go on pilgrimages, and so on.

Their magic power was enhanced, and they could also learn more healing, protection, and buffing abilities!

They were only for the most devoted, and it didn’t specify if it offered free items…

But this specialization towards magic, barriers, healing, buffs, and…

The power to temporarily summon her goddess to her side really made Aquarina want this option!

“I could be a double hero or a hero and a Saintess…” Aquarina muttered. “Ugh… the hero is really tempting but… My Sylphy…! I’ll spread the word about her!”

Aquarina was decided, as someone that loved Sylphy the most, she went ahead and naturally chose the best option for her!
