My Youth Began With Him

“I don’t think so, I’m fine, my body is in great shape.” Huo Mian smiled.

After the two got back, Huo Mian, exhausted, took a shower and then directly rushed into bed.

Her hair wasn’t even completely dry yet…

“Honey, get up.”

“Why?’

“Your hair is still wet.”

“That’s fine, it’ll dry by tomorrow.”

Qin Chu, “…”

“No, you’ll be sick.” Qin Chu ignored Huo Mian and pulled her out from underneath the sheets.

Then, he took the hairdryer and closely dried every strand of Huo Mian’s hair.

“Honey, are you treating me like your daughter now?” asked Huo Mian with a smile.

“I don’t have a capricious daughter like you.”

“You can’t call me capricious. It’s my birthday today, and it isn’t past midnight yet, so I’m still the biggest.”

“Fine, fine, you’re the biggest, aside from your breasts…” Qin Chu quietly mumbled.

“What did you say?” Huo Mian furiously turned around.

“I said… honey, you’re the biggest, your breasts are so big too.”

“Very smart of you.” Huo Mian turned around with a smile on her face.

She was quite happy with how she spent her birthday, and all the presents she received were quite special, aside from those handcuffs from Gao Ran. She was quite happy with all the other gifts.

However, she was still quite indecisive about Su Yu’s bullet, because his promise was far too substantial for her.

It couldn’t be measured with money…

– The next morning –

Huo Mian had a night shift, so she didn’t have much to do during the day. After she received a call from Huo Zhenghai, she went to the Huo Corporation’s headquarters.

During the board of directors meeting, Huo Zhenghai officially announced Huo Mian’s addition to the Huo Corporation.

Everyone on the board of directors knew that she was Huo Zhenghai’s illegitimate daughter, and so they all implicitly agreed.

Afterward, Huo Zhenghai moved 2.8% of the stocks under Huo Mian’s name, but she doesn’t have the power to control it, which was planned by Huo Zhenghai all along, so Huo Mian didn’t think it was strange.

Huo Zhenghai only wanted to use her as a pawn to fight against Huo Siqian and protect Huo Siyi.

Shen Jiani shot Huo Mian a look, and Huo Mian immediately knew what she wanted, and so during the morning meeting, she said to Huo Siqian, “President Huo, I have one request.”

“What is it?” Huo Siqian’s normal playboy image completely disappeared and became very serious, which wasn’t like his usual self at all.

“I think Manager Huo should be transferred back from the Philippines, our Corporation needs extra hands right now, and since the project there is small, there’s no point in keeping Manager Huo there for the long term,” Huo Mian said slowly.

Shen Jiani immediately responded with smiles, as she followed suit, “Yes, President Huo, I think that Huo Mian is right. Our company is very busy right now, and Siyi can help you if he comes back.” U.p..dated by b o x n o v e l. com

Huo Zhenghai only listened quietly and didn’t say anything, as he waited to see how Huo Siqian responded.

Huo Siqian slowly spun around the Hong Kong coin in his hand, as if he was in deep thought…

After a moment, he raised his head to stare at Huo Mian and asked, “If he comes back, then will you go and take his position?”

Huo Mian was somewhat speechless… She never thought that Huo Siqian would respond like that.

At this sight, Huo Zhenghai immediately said, “Siqian, your little sister just came back, she doesn’t quite understand the business yet. If she goes to the Philippines without any preparation, then it would delay a lot of other plans. We don’t need to worry about this, let’s talk about it later when we get a chance to.”

Of course, Huo Zhenghai didn’t say this to help Huo Mian, he was only afraid that he might lose his helper before he could save his son.

Huo Siqian looked at Huo Zhenghai, and then he suddenly laughed, “Dad, I was just kidding with Mian. How can I let her go to the Philippines, what if her skin turns dark from the sun?”

Both Huo Zhenghai and Shen Jiani relaxed when they heard Huo Siqian say so.

“Big brother, just let Siyi come back, everyone misses him very much.” Huo Yanyan grew impatient.

Huo Siqian glanced at Huo Mian, and he asked again, “Mian, is that what you actually want? It’s your first day back, and I’ll be nice to you, so if you really want Siyi to come back, then I’ll let him come back.”

The hot potato landed back in Huo Mian’s hands, and even though she didn’t like Huo Siyi at all, this was only the start of her plans.

She couldn’t go against Huo Zhenghai right away, as she at least had to let him have his way in the beginning.

Therefore, Huo Mian nodded, “Yes, President Huo, it’s what I want. Hopefully, you can approve my request.”

“Approved,” Huo Siqian waved his hand and was very generous, as joy immediately lit up on Shen Jiani and Huo Yanyan’s faces.

After the morning meeting ended, Huo Siqian glanced at Huo Mian. “Come to my office.”
