Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 1167: Chapter 620: Questions About the Defense Challenge, Rune Firearm Technology

At the end, the guide module mentioned the matter of defense challenges.

Zong Shen’s doubts about the defense challenge emerged in his mind.

The previous announcement served as a prospective announcement for the challenge, but the rules were not described in detail.

Zong Shen still had many doubts and thoughts about the defense challenge.

Taking this opportunity, he prepared to ask the guide module together, only by resolving the doubts in his heart early can he better prepare and arrange for the challenge.

“For subjects not within the territory, how will the defense challenge be handled? Will those subjects be attacked?”

(Subjects not within the territory range and included in the Command Value will all be treated according to the number of casualties. Your Epic Level Big Pocket can come in handy for those subjects with weaker combat ability, they can be stored in the Big Pocket to avoid the impact of the defense battle and will not significantly increase the casualty rate due to being out of territory.

The defense challenge will comprehensively assess the overall strength within the territory and match you with equally strong enemies. Casualties are inevitable, reducing even one percent is good, other Lords do not have items like the Big Pocket, make good use of your own advantages, don’t be careless.)

The guide module is well-acquainted with information that already has clear conclusions.

Of course, for those things that have not yet been clearly concluded, the guide module cannot be utilized.

It cannot foresee things out of thin air.

But even so, the functionality of the guide module is sufficiently extraordinary.

The difference in information between him and ordinary Lords is as vast as the distance between clouds and mud.

This time, the hints given by the guide module were exceptionally lengthy, and seemed somewhat “heartfelt.”

It seems necessary to summon back those doggies from the mine.

Those Kobolds have been included in the Command Value.

As for Griffins, Scorpion-tailed Tigers, Lion Skeleton Knights, these indirectly commanded ones don’t matter.

Whether they perish in the defense battle or are outside of the territory, it won’t affect the casualty rate of the subjects.

They belong to a kind of self-preserving external aid.

But those who can participate in the battle must have a direct or indirect contract relationship with Zong Shen.

This means that Lords cannot easily leverage the indigenous people.

Even Baron Bezos and Zong Shen do not have a clear contract, command, or subordinate relationship.

So even if Zong Shen can persuade Baron Bezos to bring the Bang City Army to support, it’s useless.

Due to the identity of the indigenous people, the opposing side might not even be able to see the monsters in the defense challenge.

“What kind of enemies will I face in the defense challenge?”

Zong Shen squinted his eyes as he quickly skimmed through each hint line, then immediately asked the second question.

(Before the challenge begins, the attack templates will be randomly selected, only after selection can they be revealed; whatever template will be suppressed to the same level as the strength of the territory.)

“Attack templates… randomly selected?”

Zong Shen roughly understood.

This means the enemies responsible for attacking in the defense battle are completely unpredictable.

They might not draw from the Human Kingdom or Orc, Elf, Dwarf races.

It’s also possible to draw enemies from the Other Dimension to attack the territory.

But regardless, the strength of these enemies will be restrained to precisely fit within the comprehensive strength of the territory.

The comprehensive strength of the territory is a very complex multi-dimensional data.

Including Lord’s strength, defense buildings, warrior quantity and quality, various applicable combat props, territory’s defense rating, all will be calculated.

This is why Zong Shen does not dare to be careless.

Even though he has collected many High-tier Scrolls and Goblin Bombs in advance.

These potential means will definitely be enhanced in some form on the enemies.

If the defense challenge can be easily overcome this time, then it doesn’t deserve the significance of a “final exam”; everyone must go all out, whether it’s Zong Shen or other Lords.

Therefore, from a certain aspect, this defense challenge is relatively fair.

[Flag of the Land-Grabber (Orange)] is a flag about three meters in length.

With a thought, you can select a location to place it.

You can place up to three flags.

When the three flags are consistently destroyed within 24 hours, [Flag of the Land-Grabber (Orange)] will be damaged.

Once a single flag is destroyed, it will completely lose one chance of enclosure.

This means single-time enclosure is permanent; even if you regret, it cannot be pulled out.

These three opportunities must be used with caution.

The mine must be prepared for enclosure.

The location is at least fifty to sixty kilometers away from the territory; waiting for the territory’s area to expand to there requires the territory to be raised to at least level fifty or sixty.

Besides the mine, the Poison Swamp in the south also needs to be enclosed.

As long as it’s developed well, it can become a supplement to the agricultural and livestock area.

Zong Shen has two options for the remaining spot.

The first is the undeveloped gemstone mine near the Griffin’s Nest in the Northern Forest.

The second is the lake where the Fishmen from the Rapids Tribe live.

These two options are temporarily pending.

After thinking for a while, Zong Shen stored the [Flag of the Land-Grabber (Orange)] in the Storage Grid, then took out a gun about one meter in length with a backhand.

This firearm has a bit of an Earth fire match gun feel.

But it’s very different.

Firstly, the caliber of the barrel is at least 20 millimeters, according to Earth standards, this is already the caliber of a machine gun.
