Global Lords: I Have Information System

Zong Shen put the beast egg into the storage grid, freed his hand, and patted the big head of the flying tiger, signaling it to continue flying and not to delay the clearing of the little flame demons.

As the flying tiger took off, Zong Shen calmly analyzed the situation.

With the current strength of the lords, it’s difficult to conquer the poison swamp.

The strength of over two hundred lords grouping together is hard to underestimate, but the poisonous mist limits their advantage in numbers, and the lords don’t have the upper hand in any aspect.

The little black dragon is not alone.

Everything stands by the little black dragon’s side.

As long as they can’t conquer it, Zong Shen has nothing to worry about.

Maybe these two hundred lords can even prematurely deplete some of the strength of the little black dragon.

Even if the information leaks out, it doesn’t matter; it’s a tough nut to crack anyway.

Unless they can gather seven or eight hundred lords, there is no chance of victory.

With the region not yet unified, just the allure of the poisonous mist swamp and the call of the lords is not enough to gather so many people.

Most of the legion sizes are quite small, and in a region lacking a central figure, a large-scale spontaneous assembly is simply wishful thinking.

Even the previous Flame Demon Boss hunt couldn’t fully concentrate the lords within the region with the lord system’s subtle guidance, much less the small legions and scattered individuals.

Zong Shen is the only one in the region with significant appeal.

And he has no intention of gathering lords; he just wants to single-handedly clear the poison swamp, maybe with Jiang Yi tagging along.

However, the actions of the southern lords might provoke a backlash from the black dragon.

Originally, he had planned to tame the black dragon after dealing with the goblins.

With this disruption, the plan might change unexpectedly.

Zong Shen decided to stay the course and focus on clearing the little flame demons.

After all, the black dragon isn’t a cabbage in the field, ripe for the picking.

Let those little fools scout the path first!

After Zong Shen spoke, Jiang Yi quickly understood his intent.

”Alright, Lord Zong, I understand.”

”I’ll keep an eye on the situation in the poison swamp and contact you if anything unusual happens.”

Since joining the legion, Jiang Yi has remained respectful towards Zong Shen.

”Alright, pay extra attention to the matters in the south.”

”You know I have a riding beast, so I can quickly get wherever needed within the region.”

”So, that’s it for now; I’ll go deal with the little flame demons first.”

”Understood, my lord, goodbye then.”

Having received Zong Shen’s reply, Jiang Yi immediately felt reassured.

After exchanging a few more words, they ended the communication crystal call.

At that moment, the flying tiger reached the predetermined location and began a new round of descending dive.

Zong Shen set aside his thoughts, focusing on the little flame demons below.

...

Two hours later, Zong Shen and his team finally arrived at the northern mountainside.

In these two hours, he harvested a total of 167 flame demon keys, not counting the temporary combat team’s gains sent by the territory.

From the points account status, Zong Shen could analyze the combat team’s results.

During these two hours, his points increased by 36,545, suggesting that all temporary combat teams killed nearly 600 little flame demons.

Counting the 167 killed by Zong Shen, there were a total of seven to eight hundred little flame demons.

Besides the efficiency of the three high-tier knight patrol teams and the lion skeleton knight assault team, other temporary combat squads could only eliminate five or six little flame demons per hour, accounting for travel and attack time.

This kill efficiency might gradually decrease with time.

However, if Zong Shen and the combat teams work together diligently for another one or two hours, they should complete the small target, which can be used to exchange for points.

Zong Shen even considered putting flame demon keys up for sale in the [Market].

There was no explicit mention in the announcement.

As the saying goes, if there is no law prohibiting it, it might be possible for trade.

However, he hasn’t had time to try this specifically.

He doesn’t know if it can be listed in the [Market].

If it can’t be listed, then is face-to-face trade with lords in this region possible?

All these things he temporarily did not know, nor did he have the mind to focus on these issues.

While passing by the burial ground, he encountered a dozen lords.

They were all out to kill little flame demons.

At the same time, he noticed signs of excavation in a part of the burial ground.

However, the excavation area was not large, clearly indicating no significant findings.

This situation suggests that restless lords have set their sights on the burial ground, which is not a good omen.

The burial ground is no benevolent place; unless the burial fortress ruin entrance is known or three [Demon King’s Secret Orders] are collected, once the undead revive, they will indiscriminately attack.

Zong Shen must act swiftly.

He plans to spend three months thoroughly exploring all the ruins within the region.

Among the 167 little flame demons they killed earlier, 79 were eliminated by Zong Shen using beast eggs.

The rest 88 were resolved by the flying tiger, Gujate, and Rasama.

Because the little flame demons were somewhat scattered, Zong Shen couldn’t gain other people’s experience value.

However, just dealing with these 79 earned him 257,540 points of experience value.

Enabling Zong Shen to smoothly reach LV31, with only a small gap to LV32.

The current experience value stands at [166,720/186,000].

A little over twenty thousand points more will elevate him to LV32.

The higher the level, the more terrifying the required experience value.

LV30 to LV31 requires a little over 140,000 points of experience value, and upon leveling up, the experience requirement increased by more than 40,000 points.

As the experience base increases, each level’s additional experience value will also escalate.

The path to upgrading is like the path of territory development; a long road stretches ahead.

If the lord challenge ceases to exist, who knows how many monsters need to be slain to level up?

It seems large-scale warfare is the only way to sustain level advancements.
