Global Lords: I Have Information System

He first had Marie add fuel to the large warm stove.

It’s still using the layering method of adding wood along with the [Pine Tar Block].

This way, the burning time and heat release can be maximized.

Then Zong Shen selected four [Tier One Grass Huts] to continue covering the empty spaces.

He also cleared out two positions in the pasture for grass huts, each with a medium-sized warm stove.

Placing the smoke pipe and elbow vertically out of the grass hut.

He and Marie began to build the newly added grass huts together.

With the effect of [Engineering] and [Artisan Divine Will], building one grass hut only took more than ten minutes, with the two of them working together and each responsible for two, it took less than half an hour to complete.

After constructing these grass huts, they lit up the two newly installed sets of medium-sized warm stoves.

Two mediums and one large, a total of three stoves provided heat for the pasture, and more grass huts meant more shelter. Zong Shen hoped this could increase the survival rate of cattle and sheep.

These cattle and sheep were livestock, not crops, so [Tower of Agriculture] couldn’t be used.

After finishing these, the rest was up to fate.

Just the [Pine Tar Blocks] burned by these stoves and the costs of building grass huts and the city wall could buy several cattle and sheep.

After construction, Zong Shen exhaled slightly; the monotonous hammering of the building was really a patience-testing job. By the time the pasture area was completely furnished, it was almost eleven in the morning.

Zong Shen went to the [Blacksmith Shop] and [Tailor Shop] again.

He brought back 377 [sewn sheepskin coats] from the [Tailor Shop]. Up to now, there were still over a thousand sheepskins left.

He had Alanna stop making sheepskin coats as there were less than 25 hours until the end of the Frosty Winter Challenge.

The sheepskin coats made in the future may be hard to sell.

How much can still be sold from the originally listed batch is an unknown number.

Zong Shen can only pin his hopes on the purchasing power of individual buyers now; that’s why he wanted to reduce the price. His previous listing price wasn’t too expensive compared to similar ones on the [Market], and he lowered it by 20% to increase competitiveness and attractiveness.

The [Tailor Shop] in the territory wasn’t of a high tier, and the limited facilities constrained the manufacturing process, so Zong Shen only had her teach the current tailors’ apprentices instead of making other equipment and clothing.

As for Dwarf Uncle, there were new discoveries. Since upgrading to a Tier Three [Blacksmith Shop], he had been attempting to forge Excellent Level weapons.

However, the materials that the territory could provide were mostly basic materials. To forge an Excellent Level weapon required at least 4 to 6 hours, and there was some chance of failure depending on the material.

This was due to Dwarf Uncle possessing high-level Blacksmith Professional Skills; under normal circumstances, one would need some excellent-quality materials to forge Excellent Level weapons.

After all, weapons of this level are already of the tier for standardized equipment for Tier Three to Tier Four warriors.

To save the territory’s limited high and intermediate materials, Dwarf Uncle only added a small amount of blue material each time he forged.

Even so, he managed to forge blue Excellent Level items, which speaks volumes about Dwarf Uncle’s skills.

However, even within the same tier, there were significant differences in attributes of weapon equipment.

These differences lie in forging technology, materials used, and the runes inscribed.

Zong Shen held in his hand a longsword forged by Dwarf Uncle.

[Fine-Forged Longsword (Blue)]

[One-Handed]

[Quality: Excellent Level]

[Slashing Damage: 35]

[Piercing Damage: 28]

[Attack Range: 80]

[Attack Speed: +8%]

[Durability: 350]

[Strength Requirement: 18]

[Passive Skill: Sharpness lv3 (extra 8 points of armor penetration effect)]

(Forged by Copperbeard·Wine Fire, the fine-forged iron sword has decent damage capability.)

This longsword was the territory’s [Blacksmith Shop]’s first excellent-level weapon.

Overall, its attributes were passable, but the attached skill was relatively simple.

Compared to Zong Shen’s first blue longsword, [Avalon Guard Battle Sword].

Its damage value was slightly lower, but its durability was 50 points higher.

By Excellent Level weapon standards, its comprehensive attributes could only be considered below average.

But its manufacturing costs were very low. To ensure solidity, Dwarf Uncle incorporated a small amount of refined gold and the blue-quality shell obtained from the Spider Prophet.

The primary material used was still the common iron ingot, repeatedly melted with the Wind Furnace and High-Enclosure Furnace, and after multiple forgings, quenching, and inscribing some basic runes, this longsword was forged using fewer materials.

From the material cost and time cost alone, Dwarf Uncle’s forging skill was invaluable.

The required forging time was not too long either.

All those kingdoms had large forging workshops, some even had a few special-level blacksmiths stationed.

There were also numerous high-level blacksmiths, intermediate blacksmiths, junior blacksmiths, and blacksmith apprentices; only then could they conduct large-scale smelting and forging of weapon equipment and produce suitable standardized equipment in batches.

Additionally, the material expenditure was enormous. While native nobles and kingdoms seemed affluent, the expenditure and costs necessary to support such a large army were no small amount.
