Global Lords: I Have Information System

However, in Zong Shen’s eyes, the significance of this Griffin’s Nest is different from the Goblin Tribe.

The Griffins also prey on humans, especially in areas or seasons where food is scarce.

These flying magical beasts often attack villages, preying on all surrounding creatures as food.

But their subjective harmfulness is completely different from that of goblins.

The evil of goblins is a nature, rooted deep within their souls.

Griffins, on the other hand, are more of a neutral creature, their hunting entirely driven by survival instinct.

It’s merely for obtaining food to satiate their hunger.

When food is abundant, they might not even actively attack other creatures.

Moreover, Griffins can be tamed, and among the known tamed flying magical beasts, they rank at the top with immense combat potential.

As raptor-type exotic beasts, their flying speed is extremely fast, and their endurance is also impressive, making them an excellent aerial riding beast.

Zong Shen actually wanted an aerial mount a long time ago.

Compared to the overlord-level Little Black Dragon and a group of followers, the overlord-level Griffin is much easier to handle.

Additionally, riding a Griffin doesn’t feel as exaggerated as riding a Giant Dragon, and from the perspective of riding beasts, it’s more practical than a Giant Dragon.

The speed of a Griffin is faster than a same-tiered Dragon Eagle; Zong Shen estimates that an overlord-level Griffin could reach speeds of five to six hundred kilometers per hour.

At that speed, it would take just over an hour to get from the territory to Boss Bang.

Even for journeys of four or five thousand kilometers, reaching Lentax Giant City would take only about half a day.

”Hmm…, I should find some time to study this.”

”Capturing a Griffin to use as a mount seems like a pretty good choice.”

Zong Shen wiped the snow and frost off his battle helmet, forming a plan in his mind.

The role of the aerial rider is crucial because it can significantly save travel time.

At any stage, time equals efficiency, which equals the development of the territory.

Now, the first set of materials for constructing the Hundred Kilometer-level Teleportation Array is already gathered.

If Zong Shen has a Griffin mount, he can reach Boss Bang in just over an hour.

Arriving at his small two-story building property in Bang City, he can set up the sub-array of the first teleportation node.

Just from the time saved at both ends, he’s earning almost two days.

He and Baron Bezos also have an exploration agreement, and in a few days, it will be time to explore the Lion Knight’s ruins together as planned.

Zong Shen thought for a while and set his sights on that Griffin’s Nest.

Taming Griffins offers many benefits; besides having one of his own, the rest can be distributed to the territory’s others as aerial mounts.

Additionally, Griffins have a clear tendency to group; as long as the leader of this Griffin’s Nest is tamed, the rest will be easier to deal with.

The more Zong Shen thought about it, the more feasible it seemed. He decided that once the Frosty Winter Challenge ended, he would head straight to the northern forests to search for the Griffin’s Nest.

First, he would try conventional means to capture the overlord-level Griffin and attempt to tame it manually.

If unsuccessful, he would consider using the Purple Pet Contract he has had for a long time.

This item was originally reserved to deal with the Young Black Dragon.

In the few minutes he pondered to himself, light snowflakes and raindrops filled the sky.

Due to the lack of wind, these snowflakes and raindrops fell slowly but confidently.

They floated determinedly towards the ground.

According to the previous strategic weather forecast, after one o’clock in the afternoon, it would first be sleet, and as time progressed, the snow would gradually intensify.

At least for now, this scene lacked a certain desolation, gaining a bit more tranquility and romance.

The environmental difference here is like that between a shrew and a lady.

The blizzard of Frosty Winter is a fierce shrew, whereas the solitary tranquility of winter is a graceful lady.

Zong Shen came back to his senses, his thick bear skin coat covered with snowflakes.

The snowflakes mingled with the dark brown bear fur, giving the coat a stark black and white contrast.

”By the way, two days have passed, why haven’t the goblins made a move?”

”This isn’t right; according to the journey’s time, they should’ve reacted by now.”

Zong Shen suddenly thought of something very important, which was the goblins.

Since two days ago, when he led a team and wiped out a goblin squad, he had been waiting for a retaliatory action from the Goblin Tribe, but it’s been two days and the territory hasn’t faced any retaliatory action from the goblins.

This is quite unusual, as Zong Shen had planned to weaken the Goblin Tribe’s strength slowly, like cutting meat with a dull knife.

Those green hide scum numbered two or three thousand, a dominant force in the northwest near-mountain region.

This group had more numbers than the Spider Web Monster Race in the mine.

For Zong Shen, it was also not a small challenge.

So, in the just-ended Points Exchange, Zong Shen directly exchanged for a bomb package.

These goblin bombs he deliberately acquired were primarily meant for dealing with the Goblin Tribe.

As long as he can destroy or conquer the Goblin Tribe, not only can he gain an Elf Key, but he can also seize the wealth and treasures the tribe has collected, including the rights to explore and clear the ancient military camp ruins in the nearby mountainous area, all of which will fall into Zong Shen’s hands.

So no matter how you analyze it, there must be a battle between Zong Shen and the Goblin Tribe.
