Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world

Brandon didn’t lift his boot immediately after the stomp.

He kept it there, letting the sole press the side of Alyssa’s face deeper into the sand.

Grains stuck to the fresh blood on her cheek and lip as every shallow breath she took dragged more grit into the split skin.

The arena had fallen into a strange, pulsing hush as the audience was caught between horror and morbid fascination.

The holo-board lingered on the close-up showing her wide, glassy eyes as tears cut clean tracks through blood and dust, with her mouth pinned half-open under his boot.

A choked, wet sound escaped around the pressure on her mouth as she tried to speak.

Brandon tilted his head ”Are you trying to say something?”

He lifted his foot at last giving her one clear second to drag in air.

She did.

And immediately tried to scream it:

”I YI-”

CRACK.

He kicked her again, and her head snapped sideways as a fresh spray of blood arced through the air.

She collapsed onto her side again with one arm shielding her head while the other clutched her ribs.

*swoosh*

Hm? As he was about to kick her again, a black spear whistled through the air and came straight at him from the audience side.

He tilted his head slightly, and the spear whistled past his ear and struck the floor behind him.

’Who is this now?’

Before the crowd could even process the intrusion, a figure dropped from the stands and landed hard enough to crater the sand around her boots.

She had short hair and was wearing blue combat robes as a cold glint passed through her black eyes.

”HOW DARE YOU HUMILIATE YOUNG LADY-”

She didn’t hesitate and clenched her fist before throwing a punch at Brandon’s throat.

*thud* Brandon blocked the punch with his left arm and threw a punch back straight at her abdomen.

”Gug-” The woman’s eyes bulged in shock, and her body bent itself, folding around the blow.

She was shot back through the air, crashing into the arena’s barrier and shaking the entire arena.

*THOOOM*

The students gasped in astonishment as the whole arena shook for a second.

”W-What’s happening...”

”Who even is that?”

”She is someone from Sytheria family.”

”H-Huh? isn’t she an S rank awakener?”

”And Brandon just... folded her easily...”

The woman slid down the curve and hit the ground while coughing violently.

”Argh...” Blood sprayed from her mouth in a wet arc, and she rolled onto one knee, gasping for air.

As he was about to follow up with a kick, a soft shimmer of pink-gold ether bloomed in front of him, and Esmery appeared ”Brandon, stop...”

Brandon shrugged and replied ”Stop her.”

The woman forced herself to stand straight, but before she could move, three academy instructors jumped around her in perfect triangle formation.

”If you move even an inch, we will have to take severe action...”

The woman gritted her teeth and looked at Brandon in anger, who just smiled back.

Esmery’s eyes narrowed as she spoke ”Contender Alyssa Sytheria is eliminated from the tournament due to unauthorized intervention by a member of her House.”

A low murmur rolled through the stands as some Sytheria supporters were angry and everyone else was grimly satisfied.

The woman took a deep breath to control her anger and glanced toward Alyssa.

Alyssa lay where she had fallen as her chest rose and fell in shallow, uneven breaths because of the intense pain radiating across her body.

The medics had paused at the edge of the sand, uncertain whether to approach while the intruder was still present.

The woman knelt beside her without a word.

One arm slid under Alyssa’s shoulders and the other behind her knees.

She lifted her up and turned toward the medical tunnel on the far side, leaving the arena.

Then the announcer cleared her throat and spoke in a bright voice, ”THE WINNER OF THE MATCH IS BRANDON KAEL!”

The arena roared in cheers again as Brandon’s image flashed in the hologram, showing him as the winner.

Esmery turned to Brandon and muttered ”You are one reckless guy... if you have time, come and see me later.”

He gave a faint nod ”Sure.”

---

Opening the door, Brandon stepped inside the VIP room.

Yverine launched off the couch like a coiled spring and crashed into his chest with enough force to make him rock back half a step.

Her arms locked around his neck while she buried her face against the side of his throat.

”Brandon...”

He let out a chuckle and wrapped both arms around her waist before lifting her up.

Yverine’s legs hooked instantly around his hips, and Brandon turned slightly, kicking the door shut behind him with his heel.

Seeing them, Eira and Dhayun couldn’t help but giggle and moved away to watch the next match, giving them some personal space.

He walked backward until his calves hit the edge of the wide couch, then sank down slowly, settling with Yverine still wrapped around him.

”I love you so much...” she whispered against his neck.

Brandon’s gaze softened, and he hugged her back ”I love you too, dear...”

She pulled back just enough to look at him, and he gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

A faint blush crept up her neck and bloomed across her cheekbones.

She looked down, suddenly shy under the weight of his gaze. ”...You didn’t have to do all of that.”

Brandon tilted his head ”How can I not... She hurt you and humiliated you in front of people. Obviously I will make anyone pay for hurting my dear wife.”

Wife?

Hearing his words, Yverine’s blush exploded into deep crimson.

She ducked her head and buried her burning face against the side of his neck again.

”S-stop saying stuff like that so casually, you bastard...” Her voice cracked between embarrassment and helpless affection, and her arms squeezed tighter around his shoulders, as though she could disappear into him.

Hugging her, he placed a kiss on her ear ”I mean it... Also, if you ever get troubled like that, immediately tell me.”

With a chuckle, he pinched her cheek ”Or you can handle it yourself by just beating the shit out of her.”

Yverine let out a giggle and nuzzled deeper into the crook of his neck, hiding her smile against his skin. ”You’re awful.”

Brandon’s hand slid down her spine as he murmured into her hair ”Never let anyone call you ugly because of your skin color. I already told you... you are just so beautiful.”

The smile on her lips widened ”Don’t worry... I don’t care about what others say. I know my Brandon loves me...”

She glanced up at him, looking into his blue eyes ”Have I ever told you what my favorite thing about you is?”

Hm? Brandon was amused ”Is it my handsome face?”

Yverine let out a bright giggle ”Idiot... your eyes.”

”Hm?” He tilted his head faintly, getting genuinely curious now. ”My eyes?”

She lifted both hands and cupped his cheeks, brushing her thumbs along the faint shadows under his lashes.

”Yeah... That lustful gaze in your eyes when you look at my body like you want to absolutely ravish me... I feel so beautiful. I fucking love that look in your eyes.” - [1]

Eh? Brandon blinked again ”...I was making that kind of expression?”

She leaned closer, her lips hovering over his ”Yes. And every time I see it... I feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. Like my skin, my curves, my everything... is exactly what you’ve been starving for.”

Brandon’s gaze softened in affection and she kissed his lips ”So, yeah... don’t worry. I know how much you love me, and I love you too.”

Eira turned her head and saw Brandon and Yverine kissing on the couch.

Then she glanced at Dhayun and spoke ”Now that I think of it... since Sister Yve and you are in the same team in the third year tournament. There are chances that you will face Brandon in some match.”

Huh? Dhayun was takenaback and slowly turned her head toward Eira ”I-I never thought of this. What should I do?”
