Bombarding Cultivators with Cluster Artillery

”The invasion of the Demon Race, billions of mortals have been slaughtered, reduced to a feast on the plate, reduced to livestock bred by the Demon Race.”

”I am unwilling to see such a situation continue to deteriorate.”

Atop the Six Dao Throne, the youth in green spoke slowly, his voice spreading in all directions.

”Therefore, I wish to reorganize the mountains and rivers.”

The many Immortals listened intently, not wanting to miss any word—any potential hidden meaning.

Because this concerned their future wealth, lives, paths, life and death, survival and extinction.

Moreover, because this was the Heavenly Monarch defining the Northern Plains of the Heavenly Monarchs!

Just like the Shuoyang Heavenly Monarch of ten thousand years ago, and the Six Dao Ancestor of an even more ancient era, during the times they each reigned over the Northern Plains, similar events had occurred, and the outcomes truly affected the fate and life and death of countless cultivators in the Northern Plains over ten thousand years.

All they could do was to adapt.

No matter what the Heavenly Monarch’s will was—fair or narrow-minded, Righteous Dao or Diabolism—their only option was to adapt.

Otherwise, it would be death, elimination.

”Hence, I shall establish an institution to manage the Northern Plains, named the Northern Plains Tushan Central Courtyard.”

Jiang Ding said indifferently.

Northern Plains Tushan Central Courtyard.

Many Immortals repeated this name, feeling a wave of relief in their hearts.

It seemed that this Heavenly Monarch’s obsession with Sects and families was not too deep, which was extremely good news.

This meant that the Heavenly Monarch would not prohibit all methods, limiting the cultivation of talents to bloodline descendants or a very small number of direct disciples, suppressing any other cultivators who might emerge.

Fervor surged in many hearts.

Many powerful Immortals, such as Tianyang Immortal, True Master Void Square, Blood Cloud Immortal, Mu Tiansnow, Han Lin, Yin Dao, and others who believed they had a sliver of hope to achieve Divinity Transformation, became excited.

”My lord, why not call it the Northern Plains Divine Court?”

The True Sun Maid looked like a naive young girl, always lazy and lacking reverence for her superiors. Curious, she asked, ”The Divine Court of the East Sea, the Heavenly Demon Dynasty of the West Desert, they seem much more imposing than our Tushan Central Courtyard.”

”Doesn’t this weaken our reputation?”

Many Immortals glanced sideways, admiring her boldness.

”Divine Court...”

”That would be too presumptuous.”

Jiang Ding chuckled lightly, ”Your lord has only slain a Nascent Soul Cultivator, insignificant as dust in the Domain, where do I find the courage to dare to claim it as a Divine Court?”

”Tushan Central Courtyard is just fine, accurately describing the reality.”

In everyday life, Jiang Ding was actually quite easy-going. As long as no lines were crossed, he usually didn’t engage in slaughter. Therefore, many maids were not that fearful of him.

”Oh, I understand now.”

The True Sun Maid said obediently.

”The function of the Northern Plains Tushan Central Courtyard,”

Jiang Ding paused, then continued, ”is to govern the entire Northern Plains, responsible for all taxes, Spirit Farming, Artifact Refining, Alchemy, Talisman crafting, breeding, and warfare within the Northern Plains, ensuring the entire Northern Plains bask in the glory of the ’Tushan Law’.”

”Within the Northern Plains, all organizations, Sects, guilds, clans, must within a ten-year deadline come to the Tushan Central Courtyard to register, to be recognized.”

”Otherwise, they will be razed to the ground.”

”Those in charge, guilty of illegal organization, will be executed.”

Many Immortals felt a chill in their hearts.

At this moment, they were very glad that upon hearing the news of the Heavenly Monarch, they had immediately come. Otherwise, if they could not manage to secure a position in the Tushan Central Courtyard, the outcome would likely be very grim.

A few Loose Cultivators, who always thought of themselves as free as clouds and wild cranes, indifferent to who ruled over the Northern Plains—be it the Great Sun Sect, the Demon Race, or the Liudao Sect—focusing only on reigning supreme within their own small territory.

Now, they might be in trouble.

If they quickly admitted weakness and compliance, it would be good. If they did not recognize the will of heaven, death would come in an instant.

”Beneath the Tushan Central Courtyard,”

”Establish Agricultural Sect, Artifact Refinement Sect, Pill Concoction Sect, Talisman Sect, Formation Sect, Governance Sect, Sword Sect, and Military Sect—eight great sects,”

Jiang Ding continued, ”Inheritances from all over the Northern Plains, including all God-transforming level inheritances from the past, will be classified and placed within these sects, to be exchanged for military exploits.”

”Existing old sects will be retained, but must accept orders from the new eight sects.”

”Except for the Zhengzong Sect Master and the Military Sect Sect Master, the Sect Masters of the new eight sects will, in principle, be temporarily managed by those with the most profound expertise in agriculture, artifact refining, alchemy, and other aspects, until real Sect Masters who possess deep knowledge in their respective fields and meet the standards of military exploits emerge.”

”Zhengzong Sect Master...”

”Will be assumed by Immortal Caiyu.”

After pondering for a moment, Jiang Ding appointed the former Southeast Wind Female Servant, Gong Caiyu, to take charge of the overall governance of the Northern Plains Tushan Courtyard, responsible for the systematic Tushanization overhaul of the entire Northern Plains as well as the establishment of the most important financial and tax systems.

This matter was of utmost importance to him and was the foundation of the newly-formed Northern Plains Tushan Courtyard. Cultivation, marching, and war all required a massive supply of resources.

In this aspect, the Tushan Maiden Corps, and in particular the political worker maids among them, had undergone many years of training and were the most suitable workforce.

Choosing Gong Caiyu was naturally because she was most loyal, ranking first among many True Masters.

As for her being the most senior among the political worker maids, this reason was actually secondary and not very important.

The political worker maids were a tightly knit organization; choosing anyone would likely produce good results for the transformation of the Northern Plains. The organization’s ability did not rely on any one person.

These political worker maids were one of Jiang Ding’s most valuable assets accumulated over the centuries.

”Yes, my liege!”

Gong Caiyu’s eyes shone brightly.

She bowed and showed no fear for the extremely difficult task of managing the entire Northern Plains.

”Military Sect Sect Master, will be...”

Jiang Ding’s gaze swept across the Nine Great Maids.

When it came to military formation prowess, his Nine Great Maids were frankly the cream of the crop in the Northern Plains. Other individuals, Blood Cloud, Yin Dao, Scorching Sun Swordsman, Han Lin, Mu Tiansnow, though personally powerful and far surpassing those of the same level, did not have capabilities in military formations comparable to them.

Because the Nine Great Maids had received a castrated version of Xianmen Sect’s military education.

The military education of Xianmen Sect that extended across domains with its Army Formations!

At this moment, many maids cast their gaze upon the leader of the Tushan Maiden Corps, Spring Maid Chun Jian, believing she had the greatest chance.

Even Chun Jian herself thought so and could not help showing a slightly complacent expression.

”Southeast Wind Female Servant.”

Jiang Ding’s gaze fell on Hei Louxi and he spoke indifferently.

”Me?”

Hei Louxi, originating from the Hei Collateral Lineage, shook with disbelief.

”Your military formation skills are currently the strongest among Nascent Soul Monks in the Northern Plains.”

Jiang Ding spoke calmly, ”You will become the Military Sect Sect Master, leading all Cultivator armies in the Northern Plains, including the Tushan Maiden Corps and those established later such as Great Sun Longsword Metropolis and Primordial Magic Heavenly Metropolis, until a Cultivator with stronger mastery in military formations and more battle merits than you emerges.”

”Within the Northern Plains, regardless of rank, all above the Golden Core Stage must register with the Military Sect, practice Army Formations, and pass the assessment before they can occupy any position in any sect.”

”In times of war, all Cultivators have the duty to fight.”

”This is a basic and necessary requirement.”

He did not ask for Hei Louxi’s wishes but directly announced the result.

”I...”

Spring Maid Chun Jian looked dejected, not daring to object, and lowered her head.

She knew that her mistake last time had led to today’s outcome.

She no longer had any advantage in loyalty and could only rely on raw strength to fiercely compete with others; promotion would come from victory, and nothing else.

Now, she had fallen in the competition of raw strength.

”Roger!”

”Thank you, my liege!”

Hei Louxi could not suppress the smile that crept onto her lips and responded resoundingly.
