The Martial Unity

The Martial Sages gritted their teeth as they bore the extraordinarily onslaught and convergence of power from the tremendous army of warships and warcrafts that directly attacked them.

BOOOOOM BOOOOOM BOOOOOM!!!!!

“Do not let any harm befall the Panama Continent!” Sage Sayfeel bellowed an order as the appointed leader. “The Emperor of Harmony was clear that protecting the continent is our highest priority!”

The Martial Sages of human civilization exerted all their power as they redirected and defended against the endless onlaught from the siege weapons of their enemies and other weapons of mass destruction.

The need to protect their base was perhaps the only reason that the siege weapons had ever been effective against the Martial Sages, otherwise they could easily circumvent their opponents.

BOOOOOM BOOOOOM BOOOOOM!!!!!

The onslaught continued for a whole minute as they did everything in their power to protect the tectonic plates underlying the continent from damage, even if the surface of their surroundings was bathed in great power.

By the time the sieges ended, perhaps by design or by the end of the ammunition, the Martial Sages were bathed in bruises and light burns.

Nothing that they couldn’t deal with.

And yet, their eyes widened with shock.

They froze where they stood as they beheld the warships and aircrafts opening up.

Time slowed down in the eyes of the Martial Sages as they beheld the warships and aircrafts deploying countless very human-like beings from within their depths.

What shook the Martial Sages was the fact that their bodies were translucent.

Their existences seemed like blanks.

Like an empty canvas.

Almost like they had the potential to become anything.

It was an eerily chilling sensation.

One that reminded them of somebody.

Sage Sayfeel gritted his teeth.

“ATTACK.”

“ATTACK!!!”

The Martial Sages and Martial Masters defending the Panama Continent surged forth, activating their Realms of power, unleashing all their energy against the million-strong army that invaded the Panama Continent.

Countless Martial Embodiments painted the very canvas of heaven and earth as a maelstrom of force surged from within the depths of the Martial Artists. Countless attacks of countless high principles emerged from the Martial Sages of human civilization.

BOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!

A multitude of explosions erupted as the attack blasted into the forefront leaders of the translucent people.

What followed shook the Martial Sages of human civilization.

Their eyes widened with horror.

Their bodies froze with shock.

They watched with gaping mouths.

They watched as the very foundations of the translucent human beings shifted.

Their bodies shifted on a fundamental level.

One translucent being changed his being fundamentally as he gained a spontaneous genetic ability of acoustic absorption, the power to absorb sound as his body grew a light yellow, reflecting the changes in his genome as he countered to sound attacks.

Another woman negated a Sage-level attack from Sage Kole as her body turned a pure black, absorbing all the heat from the fire attack and storing into as chemical energy; a function that she had just spontaneously generated on the spot by altering her genome to counter her opponent.

Another man absorbed light as the fundamental bodily structure turned into a fundamental into a crystalline structure of meta-materials that were counter-developed to absorb absorb a Sage-level light attack from Queen Linaliana and bounce within his body in intense internal reflections that trapped the light.

Another woman spontaneously developed superconducting materials in her body as she used her a Martial Sage’s electromagnetic fields to generate electricity in her own body to launch lightning attacks again the Martial Sages and Martial Masters.

The very moment that an attack surged towards them, their bodies seemed to spontaneously undergo fundamental changes that were perfectly designed to counter said attack and said opponent.

BOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!

The Martial Sages watched with shock as the strongest among the translucent beings were strong enough to fight Martial Sages!

They could alter the very foundation of their existence on a level that was beyond the perception of any of the Martial Sages.

Their very existences changed to become antithetical to their opponents.

Sage Sayfeel’s eyes widened with horror.

He recognized this path.

It was the path of the most powerful Martial Sage in human history.

It was the Path of Adaptive Evolution.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The translucent beings grinned as they overran the continent, invading Panama with a tremendously extraordinary force of one million. Most of them were much more opaque than others while some were extremely transparent and almost invisible, forming a strange spectrum of transparency that invaded the continent.

RUMBLE!!!!!!

It was the most aggressive attack that the Panama Continent had ever withstood, putting to shame even the tekvores of Acherialis. It was as though the translucent beings had brought forth their entire fighting population to invade the Panama Continent in the very first go!

And yet despite the shocking display of numbers, their eyes were fixed on one entity.

An almost invisible man.

An existence that almost transcended the shackles of materia.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!!

Sage Sayfeel gritted his teeth as he unleashed his full power.

His eyes focused on the man at the very forefront of the army.

One who stood above all.

One who led them all.

An eerie sense of danger, unlike almost anything he had ever felt, emerged from the transparent male figure.

The male figure was almost invisible.

Almost entirely imperceptible.

His very existence was ephemeral.

As though his power was of an entirely different dimension.

“Rargh!” Sage Sayfeel roared as he unleashed a powerful blow against the ephemeral male translucent being.

And yet—

TAP

Sage Sayfeel’s eyes widened as the male figure halted his attack with a single finger.

“Die!” Sage Linaliana blasted the ephemeral male figure with an extraordinarily potent beam of light.

And yet—

The light curled around him as the very fabric of space and time bent.

The ephemeral being blueshifted the tremendous light that Linaliana had blasted it with, turning visible light into hyper-intense gamma radiation that warped the very fabric of space before sending it back to her.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!

“Argh!” Sage Linaliana gritted her teeth as the sheer power of attack overwhelmed her, burning off her golden skin in the blink of an eye, and almost killing her on the spot. With a single attack, the leader of the translucent beings, a man so ephemeral they could barely register his existence, vanquished a peak Sage with effortless ease.

The other peak Sages gritted their teeth as they charged at him simultaneously.

And yet, he was beyond them.

A being of unfathomable mastery of Adaptive Evolution.

This was the leader of the evolutionaries of Moridia.
