The Martial Unity

The air boiled with peril.

The atmosphere grew electric with danger.

The mood darkened gravely.

RUMBLE

Heaven and earth quivered ominously as a myriad of notifications lit up the Emperor’s commpad.

BZZZT BZZZT BZZZT!

His eyes widened at a myriad of reports filling up the screen.

Reports featuring satellite and long-range radar feeds of the Panama Continent and the Great Nam Ocean.

It revealed a fleet of hundreds and thousands of rapidly approaching crafts from the north of the continent. Fleets that displayed a signature that were quite reminiscent of the aircraft that carried the entity that attacked the Esocline Federation.

The atmosphere curdled with dread as the sheer size of the invasion mounting its way towards the Esocline Federation sent chills down running across the skin.

It was nothing short of an all-out invasion.

Despite the sheer size of the invasion, they managed to travel uniformly at remarkably fast speeds, bound to arrive at the Esocline Federation in just about an hour.

The fleet formation, according to the radar and satellite feeds, was shaped as a loose triangle, led by particularly pronounced and powerful signatures comprising of twenty powerful signatures very similar in intensity to the entity that had attacked the Esocline Federation.

Just the sheer implications of that were horrifying.

He shot up with a stunned, grave expression as notifications continued shooting up.

BZZZT BZZZT BZZZT!

Several more notifications lit up on his pact as the Martial Insurance Task Force immediately got to work.

[Commencing Preparations for World Bridge Activation]

[Commencing preparations for Martial Force on standby]

[Coordinating with the target recipient with world bridge coordinates]

The Martial Insurance Task Force was an independent body that the Emperor of Harmony had put in charge of the World Bridge and the gathered Martial Sages of human civilization in the event of an emergency attack and dispatch.

The Emperor of Harmony hardly could be personally involved in each and every emergency that was bound to occur with greater frequency, and thus, he had created a body that was constantly in alert for precisely these kinds of events so that they could be prepared to act the very moment any intelligence of an attack appeared before them.

Emperor Rael gazed at the arriving fleet of crafts on the radar and satellite feed with a grave expression.

“And so it had begun.”

An attack had escalated to war.

The Kandrian Empire mobilized as the World Bridge team of the Kandrian Empire rapidly prepared the World Bridge System for activation, slowly warming and activating the powerful machine that could bore holes through the very fabric of reality.

In an isolated chamber surrounded by powerful armor plating and glass, the World Bridge slowly brimmed with power and life as a team of nearly one hundred engineers and technicians carefully monitored the machine’s activation, ensuring that nothing went wrong.

It was not an exaggeration to say that this machine was the difference between human civilization’s salvation and destruction.

VMMM…!

The machine blazed with power and life as it slowly and safely brimmed with life, growing increasingly more power with each second.

RUMBLE

The very fabric of space and time began being warped.

It bent and curved as the fabric of reality between the Esocline Federation and the Kandrian Empire shifted, as a small tear in reality occurred. Rapidly, the esoteric negative matter was deployed, widening the tear in reality as a hole between the Kandrian Empire and the Esocline Federation appeared in in the air growing until it reached a sizable diameter filling the entire gate shaped structure.

“World Bridge stabilized,” the calm voice of the World Bridge Task Force announced. “Opening trap doors for Martial mobilization.”

VMMM

The trap doors to the chamber opened up as a variety of Martial Sages and Martial Masters who emerged forth with grim expressions. They were led by none other than Bodhisattva Maitreyi, who appeared rather rejuvenated since reuniting with her granddaughter half a day ago.

Following her were a myriad of Sages from across the continent, including Elder Diana, Sage Mermane from the Marinaera Kingdom, Sage Dawlish from the Solaris Kingdom, Kane, and a whopping sixty other Martial Sages from across human civilization.

This was the sheer force that the Kandrian Empire had on standby at all times while the Martial Insurance Task Force rapidly alerted and began gathering other Martial Sages to quickly form reinforcement groups in case even this sizable quantity turned out to be insufficient for repelling the invasion from what was deduced to be the Imperial Tekvorian Federation.

The Martial Sages and Masters were extraordinarily severe in their body language.

Have gone through the reports on the attacks from the foreign entity, they know that these creatures were incredibly powerful and if the one that they attacked was anything as powerful as the rest, there it was feasible that even thrice the number of Martial Sages wouldn’t be enough to repel the sheer power that their enemies were bringing forth to attack the Esocline Federation.

STEP

In a matter of seconds, sixty Martial Sages and one hundred and twenty Kandrian Martial Masters emerged from the portal with grim severity written all over their bodies.

They had arrived at the Esocline Federation in the blink of an eye.

The tall and giant metal structures of the Esocline Federation, densely packed within its border, were a sight to behold.

And yet, it was not what drew their attention.

VMMM!

A giant, powerful MECHA slowly emerged before all of them.

“As a representative of the Esocline Federation, we are truly grateful to Your Sagehoods for fighting to protect our nation,” the MECHA Master’s electronically distorted voice had a grateful tone to it. “Our leader regrets that there isn’t enough time to thank you all personally.”

Bodhisattva Maitreyi directed a knowing look at the MECHA Master before remarking with a wise tone. “Amitabha. We are just doing our duty to human civilization. The Esocline Federation is part of the Martial Insurance Pact that I have pledged myself to, and I have no intention of allowing it to fall after all the contributions that it has made to all of humanity.”
